I'm writing this to protect others from making the same $18,000+ mistake I did…read more After two years with ProGreen's Natural Supreme Turf and its supposedly superior ProFlow backing, my yard is unusable, my money is gone, and ProGreen has done nothing but waste my time with broken promises and revolving-door representatives who never are around long enough to see anything through. I'll give ProGreen this: the turf looks genuinely great, and I regularly get compliments on it. That's exactly why I chose it. The other reason I chose ProGreen specifically was their assurance that it was an excellent option for dog owners. On both counts, the reality has not lived up to the promise. The single biggest failure is the odor from dog urine. On any warm day above 70°F, my front and back yards smell like a sewer. And you don't need to own a dog for this to happen! If your turf is anywhere near a sidewalk, which most front yards are, dogs walking by will urinate on it. That's all it takes. The ProFlow backing was sold to us as a premium drainage solution, but it doesn't drain at all. Urine pools and runs to the edges, then bakes in the sun. I cannot use my own yard, and visitors notice the smell from the porch. ProGreen has been attempting to resolve this for over 2 years. The VP of Operations, Logan, came out, smelled the turf firsthand, acknowledged the problem, and admitted there had been a manufacturing defect. This led to the turf being replaced with one they claimed would drain better, but it didn't help. The smell returned immediately, worse than ever, even on cool, cloudy days. That's not a repair; that's confirmation that the product is fundamentally defective. I'm now on my seventh primary contact at ProGreen in two years, because the previous reps were all fired or quit. Missed appointments, unfulfilled commitments, and zero continuity mean that every time I get close to a resolution, I have a new rep who knows nothing about my case. At this point, it seems intentional to avoid warranty work or to give me my money back for a failed product. They've since stopped responding to my emails asking when they will be coming out to address the acknowledged warranty repairs needed to hide the seams after the turf replacement. This product was marketed as a premium turf and was pet-friendly. Two years and multiple failed repair attempts later, I can say without any hesitation: it is neither. I asked for a full refund, and they stopped responding. If you want to install turf anywhere where a dog could pee on the turf and value being able to enjoy your own yard, stay far away from ProGreen!

Here is a copy of the letter we sent to ProGreen in response to their demand for payment: As you…read morecan see, we requested they contact us to resolve the dispute. They instead tried to put a lien on our property. Now they are sending us to collections, for a job that is still not complete - with a contract that was not signed by the homeowner. ONE: The work is still not complete as of October 31, 2024. (in fact it is not complete as of Nov 18, 2024) TWO: The original installation team walked off the job due to a dispute with either the installation Supervisor (Raul) or ProGreen. THREE: After the original installation team left, we were advised to "guard" our property and we were asked by the installation Supervisor (Raul) to watch his tools for fear the first team may come back and retaliate by vandalizing our property and/or his tools. This was very concerning and stressful. We had to be sure someone was home and watching things 24/7. We did not sign up for that. FOUR: The second installation team delivered the rocks to the wrong location, which caused delay, they were also delayed because one of the workers borrowed the company truck and caused it to be impounded, another company truck would not start, and it went on like that. FIVE: Against our wishes, the second installation team that was brought in, worked way past dark, with no light, which may explain the seam issues. It was also very noisy for our neighbors. SIX: After repeated calls to your corporate office to address these issues as well as get a timeline for completion, i.e. to fix major seams, there was no return call until August 27, 2024. SEVEN: A supervisor came to the residence on August 27, 2024, and conceded that there was still work that needed to be complete. The seams needed a lot of attention and there was fill that still needed to be done. These were his words. EIGHT: In this same meeting, on August 27, 2024, this supervisor was threatening and intimidating, touting his MMA background and telling us how he has hurt people. While this was unprofessional, concerning, invasive and presumably intended to intimidate us and keep us quiet, we still wanted to know what kind of compensation we should expect for all the issues, drama, problems, and delays we experienced, not to mention we wanted a final completion date. When we asked this, the supervisor started actually, screaming at us- that we better pay, or he will put a lien on our home. He called us losers and threatened us. On this same afternoon, we went to Denver Police Department, District 2 and filed a police report that is public record. We have not decided whether to press charges or who will be included in the complaint. NINE: We have pictures, and video of the Installation Supervisor passed out drunk in his truck in our driveway with his truck running and beer in his lap. We also have doorbell camera footage of your supervisor bringing the beer to the workers mid-day. This has all been shared with the Supervisor at ProGreen. TEN: The work was promised to be completed in 1-2 days, and while it is still not complete, it wasn't even to the point where it is now for 5 days which caused us to postpone our outdoor event. ELEVEN: You did not get the signature of the owner of the property on the contract for service. TWELVE: Interest should not be calculated, just as payment is not due, until the job is complete, which it is not at this time. FURTHER ACTION REQUESTED: Please contact the property owner to resolve this dispute. We would like to resolve this in a fair manner.

I felt like they listened to my needs and created an appropriate solution. Theirs was the only company to recommend using an air drain system to better manage the lingering snows and the daily use by my dog. I obtained 5 quotes in all, and RockSolid was the most thorough and competitively priced. Jorge and his crew of installers were professional and respectful. Because I have a second floor condo, they had to go through my unit multiple times to haul up materials and access the deck space. They shut doors and made sure my dog didn't get out. And they worked steadily and efficiently, completing the project in one day. It was evident they knew what they were doing and did it well. Cleanup was excellent with no trash left behind. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY!!…read more We have been nothing but disappointed with his company. When you spend over $10k on a putting green that is supposed to be a legitimate surface to practice on, it is expected to work. We chose this company because they claim to be the best. They have been the WORST. The initial contact and consultation was wonderful. Bob, the sales man, is very convincing. He will tell you their greens are the best. He will convince you they are different than other companies. He is very personable and a wonderful salesman's. But that's all he is. After you sign the contract you are sent to another division of the company. The installers took weeks to arrive. They rescheduled multiple times. When they finally arrived to do the job they left an incomplete job and a mess. Our original install was August 2019. They had to come back two weeks later to add sand and fix seems. By October it was a bumpy uneven mess. We called again and they promised to come back out and fix it. Call after call never returned. We finally got the owner to come to the house in January of 2020. He understood we needed a reliable surface for our son who is on the high school golf team. He brought another crew and tried to smooth out the surface. They also reset our cups. He told us that there will be shifting and bumps will appear but they will come back out in the spring and fix it. We had to wait until the warmer months. It is now June. We have been checking in since April. They have told us three times that they would arrive and never showed up. Again, calls unanswered. This is ridiculous. We continue to call and they continue to put us off. Our putting surface is completely bumpy and uneven! Today they were supposed to come again at noon and never showed and never called us. Again we had to call and try to track them down. It's almost been a year and we still don't have the product we were promised.

The guy started by giving me a quote that was well under what I was expecting,…read more And then lost it, telling me that he has people who don't understand how much it costs to do turf, And it's a long drive for him to my home, where the work needs to be done. I'm not sure why he lost his temper with me. I was stoked to get a better price than everywhere else, but after talking to him, he told me it's not a good fit for him. Just came off as a flake. Or young and not able to deal with stress! Oh well, buddy, good luck to you. Try to tame that wild streak in your nerves. This guy called me to bug me after he saw the review I left, to harass me about how a bad review could ruin his business. I would love to give a good one, but you earned thi,s buddy. Don't call people to bug me about their reviews, and you won't get told how things work!
