The front office girls are always happy - the back office give me a bad time (once they get to know you)....love them all. Dr. Johnson put together a treatment plan that included a whole upper and lower - lengthening my teeth, creating a white smile, and addressing the gum situation with upper periodontal surgery and lower orthodontia. (The other professionals he referred me to were the same high caliber) My 3 year journey - was worth it...I love to smile, look younger, and I wouldn't change a thing. I expressed every concern you could think of and every accommodation was made to ensure my peace of mind, physical comfort and high expectations were exceeded. Dr. Johnson makes it a point to continue his training and the training of his technicians. Every time I go there he seems to have updated a procedure or equipment. He takes his time to answer questions, he constantly asks if you are doing OK. Dr. Johnson is really good with those who do not like going to the dentist. He is exceptional with pain management. This office was the first office I had been in many years that were actually honest feeling, genuine & didn't nickel & dime you. I go to get my teeth cleaned like clockwork every 6 months. I always water pik &/or floss. Suddenly a new hygienist is mine for the appointment, my regular girl wasn't available, & now I need an expensive "deep cleaning". I asked, can you just clean my teeth like normal & I will watch & focus more on the area of concern, NO she says. Really???? It's very unfortunate that Allison is the new face of Canyon Lakes Dental Group. Dr. Nassar is my favorite dentist, the front office staff is amazing, especially Debbie. But when it comes to pressure sales, that's not my style. I have friends that have been in the dental field & have told me that they have numbers to meet in sales monthly & if you don't upsell services you get let go. It's very sad. If you are going to this office, request someone other than Allison unless you have several hundred extra dollars to blow.

Now that new management is in place there isn't any consideration for the customer. Waited 55 minutes for the hygienist, lying down in this uncomfortable chair. Walked up to the counter and questioned the staff and was told my cleaning appointment was one hour after the initial dental inspection. Been going there for 9 years and the cleaning was always first and a dentist would follow-up with a two-minute inspection. Somehow reversing the procedure and making the customer wait an excessive amount of time makes sense to them. Walked out and won't return. Never received a cleaning. They still billed my insurance company, even after I verbalized my displeasure. Just not the same anymore.
