This office was the first office I had been in many years that were actually honest feeling, genuine & didn't nickel & dime you. I go to get my teeth cleaned like clockwork every 6 months. I always water pik &/or floss. Suddenly a new hygienist is mine for the appointment, my regular girl wasn't available, & now I need an expensive "deep cleaning". I asked, can you just clean my teeth like normal & I will watch & focus more on the area of concern, NO she says. Really???? It's very unfortunate that Allison is the new face of Canyon Lakes Dental Group. Dr. Nassar is my favorite dentist, the front office staff is amazing, especially Debbie. But when it comes to pressure sales, that's not my style. I have friends that have been in the dental field & have told me that they have numbers to meet in sales monthly & if you don't upsell services you get let go. It's very sad. Walked up to the counter and questioned the staff and was told my cleaning appointment was one hour after the initial dental inspection. Been going there for 9 years and the cleaning was always first and a dentist would follow-up with a two-minute inspection. Somehow reversing the procedure and making the customer wait an excessive amount of time makes sense to them. Walked out and won't return. Never received a cleaning. They still billed my insurance company, even after I verbalized my displeasure. Just not the same anymore.
