I have had a lot of trauma to my teeth, pretty much since I got my adult teeth. I fell and cracked my two front teeth, as each baby tooth was pulled I felt it was the worst pain imaginable. I was so terrified I kept it to myself a tooth was loose to avoid the pain, making my adult teeth crooked as they tried to come out around my tooth. A dentist was my biggest fear, even in my adult stages, so I avoided them at all costs. I called and set up an appointment with Mariana and she is honestly the best! The best dentist EVER! Going to the dentist is nobody's favorite thing to do. Everyone here is so incredibly nice. Dr. Wilson and Mariana are two of the most caring people and want to make sure they put your dental hygiene first. I always immediately feel better about going to the dentist when I come here. I first learned about Dr. Wilson's approach to gum health on TV. The information made sense to me so I decided to schedule a free hour long consult with him. Dr. Wilson is professional, informative, and has incredible support staff. I personally felt my gums needed better attention after having lots of bleeding during teeth cleanings. I have been a loyal patient of Dr. Gordon Wilson and his hygienist, Michele, for nearly a decade now.  The entire team is always friendly and caring at every single appointment.  They really take the time to listen to you and provide you with the dental work that you need, but also the dental work that you want.  Recently I had an experience that went above and beyond my expectations. For years now, I have had a very heavy bite that has damaged my upper front teeth.  I wanted to repair them with porcelain veneers, so Dr. Wilson invited my wife to come with me to take impressions for what is known as a diagnostic wax up.  Essentially, it's a 3D blueprint of what my smile was to look like.  All three of us gave our input until we found the smile that we all agreed would look best for me. Dr. Wilson sent the case to the lab for them to complete the diagnostic wax up, but the lab owner was worried that my teeth were too thin for porcelain veneers.  He was concerned that if Dr. Wilson was to remove any tooth structure from the fronts of my teeth, the teeth would break from being so thin and fragile.  He was also concerned that if we placed no-prep porcelain veneers on the teeth, then the porcelain veneers would break.  He sent the case back to Dr. Wilson without performing the diagnostic wax up. Dr. Wilson called me and explained the situation, but he had a solution, as he's an "outside the box" thinker.  He told me that he would complete the diagnostic wax up himself by adding material to the fronts of the teeth only, essentially bulking the teeth out towards my lip and making them thicker and stronger.  We also opted to make the veneers out of a new type of composite resin material instead of porcelain.  That way, if they ever chip or break over time, they can easily be repaired.  He explained that if a porcelain veneer chips or breaks, they're much more difficult to repair and sometimes they have to be completely replaced. On the day of the procedure, he painstakingly bonded the new composite material to the fronts of my teeth and then he artistically sculpted them to look like the teeth we wanted.  He then sent me home to "test drive" them and see what my family members, friends and co-workers thought of them. When I returned to his office a week or two later, I gave him the feedback that everyone had given me.  Essentially everyone, including Dr. Wilson and me, thought that the teeth were slightly too long.  He very quickly and easily shortened each veneer, re-shaped the edges and polished them to a glossy finish.  My family and I are extremely pleased with the outcome. As a result of this experience, I referred my father to Dr. Wilson.  My father had an existing treatment plan from another dentist.  He came in for the free consultation with Dr. Wilson, and he treated my father the same way he treats all of his patients... as if they are a member of his own family.  Dr. Wilson gave my father an optional treatment plan that saved him thousands of dollars over the previous plan.  I also referred my son to Dr. Wilson for orthodontics.  He was able to give my son a beautiful smile using clear aligners at a very affordable price. Great Staff who's caring, professional, and experienced. Dr. Wilson provided us with excellent service. The office is chic and calm for people who have anxiety about seeing a Dentist. My hubby and I search several months for a procedure using laser surgery for gum disease. After consultations, we were very happy with Dr. Wilson. We travel at least a hour to his office and it's worth it. Dr. Wilson is an innovative medical professional, caring, and detailed. In three years, two caps have literally fallen out, one on the floor and yesterday one in my mouth. Going today to see if my new dentist can save it. I am very conscience of keeping healthy gums, teeth and tongue. Mariyana will rapidly pull you in to give two options cash or a loan via a dental loan company. No insurance accepted. They claim repeatedly their office never has any patients waiting to be seen like all the other offices. I guess I've been lucky all of my adult life bc no dentist office I have ever used has had a room of patients. I would also like to add that he adjusted my bite after fitting my caps and left very rough edges on some of my teeth and the Cerac Cap was unpolished. My new dentist spent time polishing it before he put in back on. He was all smiles literally asking for a review and in the beginning, I did gave him a good rating then he blew me off each time he saw me. I believe it was on Health Grades and I am unable to change it! DO NOT use the DDS. I am dreadfully sorry I used him. Ignore him touting he is world famous with a Perio Trays. There are several dentists who can fit a Perio Tray from your mouth. read more

A 'veneer' that another out of state dentist had put on one of my teeth suddenly broke off while I was eating leaving me with a noticeable gap in my mouth. Some quick online research led me to Dr. Wilson who went out of his way to fit me into his busy schedule. I expected he would take an impression, put on a temporary veneer and I would return in a month after another company fabricated it like my previous dentist. I was extremely pleased when Dr. Wilson said he had all the equipment to quickly make a new veneer for me right in his office. In less than an hour I left with a brand new veneer. He also showed me that the old veneer had broken just because it had not been properly installed. When I told my daughter about my great experience in finding Dr. Wilson I learned by a sheer coincidence that although she lives in another state she had also heard of his outstanding reputation for treating gum recession and had made an appointment with him while visiting me in Arizona. I found TLC 4 gums after a very unpleasantness dental work in another office. I was new to the area and had to find a good dentist. I have heard great things about Dr. Wilson and his office, but was even more impressed when I went to my first appointment. First of all, his office is very clean and the staff is amazingly polite - from front desk to the back office. I can honestly say, I have never had a better first time visit - Dr. Wilson and his staff took digitized pictures of my teeth, showed me an educational video around gum care and spent good 40 mins going through my problem area, showing and explaining every detail and options for treatment plans. I had been to multiple visits now and it is always a pleasure to visit this office. I go every time knowing exactly what to expect and feeling confident that I will have great results. All the treatments now have been completed and I am very happy. I have not only got a great treatment, but feel much better educated on how to take care of my teeth and gums. I highly recommend this office and the staff - they have two locations one in North Scottsdale and another in Peoria, AZ. I went to Dr Wilson because of an advertisement i saw on TV about periodontal work, He was very nice and didn't charge me for x rays he took because the ones i brought was not readable. I got the periodontal trays the hygienist who took my mold left them in too long and she had a time removing them , her face was all red and her fingers hurt from trying to pull them out and it felt like she was pulling out my teeth. It took her 20 minutes to scrape all the excess off my teeth I mentioned this to the receptionist .On the way home my teeth hurt like never before and one was loose and fell out and within a few weeks 3 more teeth fell out and all my fillings fell out. I called them about this they told me my teeth were loose anyway ... i feel that the hygienist is at fault for me loosing my fillings and teeth and i wish they would do something about it. I saw Dr Wilson on T.V. and was thinking that I needed laser treatment .Another dentist told me I needed a 1200.00 deep cleaning treatment. I went to see him,Not only did he tell me that I did not need laser treatment, but my gums were not too bad and that I definitely did not need 1200.00 worth of deep cleaning. I was excited because he was not trying to sell my something i did not need.rather he was giving me hope right away. well he did his evaluation,and was very encouraging through the whole eval.One big point I wish to make is that he spent a great amount of time with me really!!!,i was amazed ! I have never had a dentist spend that much time with me before. He is so very knowledgeable about all the latest and greatest procedures in the dental field.possible. and he has trained his wonderful staff very well .these ladies have got to be the most well educated support staff in the dental world, and they all keep on learning ,I've found out.
