The pancake puppies are a great appetizer if you need some small and quick comfort food! They are extremely crispy and have a light cinnamon coating that makes it all the more yummy. Also they super warm on the inside and come with some maple syrup which serves as a great compliment. They are very dense in calories about 950 for ten puppies but you can get either six for 1.99 or ten for 2.99. I got ten and was mildly full but fully satisfied. Worst experience ever here. We arrived a party of 4 adults and 3 children. The lady told us to seat our selves placed the order and when our food was brought out gave the food to the wrong people after we just repeated who's is for who's and when my aunt asked her where is the rest of the food the waiter told her to calm down I swapped ur food. Then I get my food a ham and cheese omelette. Let's just say I coulda made it at home it was chopped hand with sandwich cheese not melted with a scrambled egg laid on top. Literally the cheese was not melted I asked them to remake it and as the lady is walking back she tells one of the cooks she's gonna be one of those customers. Matter of a fact yes they brought it back with a burned hash brown couldn't even eat it because it was to burnt. Very disappointed will not recommend it. read more

I have been dining at this Denny's for the last 8-months on a weekly basis for the business luncheon (TBP-Wldomar Chapter). This is a nice new clean place with very friendly staff who are attentive . I would order anything on the menu depending on my appetite: breakfast, lunch, dinner or just dessert. There is always something delicious treat for you for 24/7 hours! I visit this Denny's quite often, and my business networking group meets here weekly We just love the food and service, the restaurant is very clean and all the servers are very nice and attentive. It is one of the only restaurants that I can go to and try a variety of different foods and still be pleased with the quality. I would give 0 stars if I could. I left this restaurant in tears. First off, let me tell you I've been to this Dennys tons of times as well as the one of Madison, but this is the LAST time I will EVER return to this location. Never have I ever been literally argued with over a polite request about my food that I'm supposed to be paying for. Hello?? I ordered my usual steak with cheddar potatoes and salad. Everything was good until I cut into this piece of RAW meat. I order my steak Medium rare every single time I order steak at any restaurant including Dennys - which I know isn't going to be gourmet steak, obviously. But I don't expect the meat to - as soon as I cut into it - start bleeding everywhere profusely. The site of this disgusting blood pouring out of the steak literally sent me to the bathroom to VOMIT!! I felt like I had just sliced a cows freaking neck. While in the restroom for a few minutes, my boyfriend politely asks the server to bring back the meat to cook a little longer. I was willing to give them another chance although my appetite had just about jumped off a cliff. The server brings it back to the visible line where the cook puts up his arms as if saying " this is medium rare. " like I said before, we know what medium rare looks like. I wish I had a picture of this disgusting thing but I was too busy vomiting. She brought it back as is and said it's medium rare so we can cook it medium for you if you want? I said no. I want it medium rare, and she continues to argue with me. I just said forget it, and she brings me back this WELL DONE dry piece of meat. Are you kidding me??? We had just about had it, my boyfriend paid for his meal which he ate and our drinks and my salad no problem. However we were not about to pay for our RAW meat. And the manager still tried to get us to pay for it. He said " well you know what I'll do you a favor and take it off for you. This place has TERRIBLE service on a day they are slow. I cannot imagine a day when it's busy. I know it's a Denny's but they should at least do the job they get paid to do. We stood inline to be sat for 10 minutes( while we were the only ones in line). Than we waited 15 minutes before our server came over just to great us and ask for drinks. This Denny's on clinton keith is awesome.. I eat there all the time. Service is awesome, they are so friendly and happy.. Meals are always good, they are NEVER slow... As for the other negative reviews, if your in such a hurry for your meals, go home and cook.. Oh I forgot wives don't cook in Cali... I usually like Denny's but this particular Denny's is abysmal. First let me start off with coming inside. We walked in and the guy at the desk by the door was attending two customers. No big deal right? As soon as he saw us, he had a look like we were bothering him. I requested to sit at a booth because i feel weird sitting in a table with people behind me (PTSD). He seemed like i asked to sit on a golden chair lifted! Anyway, i can see how this might be annoying to some servers (messes with the rotation). The food: We first ordered appetizers. Cheese quesadilla and two broccoli and cheese soups. The soups tasted like they were in the pot all day (it's already after 3 pm) and like they were cooked with dirty socks. The server didn't bring extra little plates you get when you order appetizers. I finished my drink and the waiter walked passed our table looking at us like five times... he didn't even ask us if we wanted more drinks or water!!! The quesadillas were super greasey; I ordered the T-bone steak dinner with cheddar mashed potatoes and sautéed squash and zucchini. My mother ordered the country fried steak, nephew ordered the caramel and banana pancake order. It was ALL HORRIBLE!!! How do you mess up pancakes? How!? All I know is WE won't be back. The owner of this franchise should be embarrassed and ashamed and fire his management for allowing such horrible service or if it's their reaction towards the owner/ management. Been here several times and the service is not the greatest. Today the service was bad, my daughter got only got half her meal and had to wait about 10 more minutes to get the other half. We then had to wait for refills on our drinks that took an extended period of time, nobody came by to even offer us refills. After we were done with the meal, we had another long wait for the check, had to ask another waiter for our check since out waiter wouldn't come by. read more

The place was clean but understaffed. Ordered our food, my husband ordered chicken noodle soup and a sandwich with seasoned fries and I ordered potatoe soup and a chicken dish with no mushrooms. Soup came first and we were told no chicken noodle,REALLY it's lunch time and chicken noodle is on the menu daily.....quite disappointed at this point. Next the food comes and my husband has regular fries not seasoned and mine comes with mushrooms. Why bother taking our order and writing it down to bring it wrong? We are informed my husband would get the correct fries and my plate was redone. His fries came after we were finished eating and never an apology for the mistake. I normally don't write reviews but after going to this Denny's with my sister I thought we needed to let everyone know that the Chicken quesadilla served to us last night was served with spoiled smelly slimy chicken meat that should have been thrown out days before we got it. I took one bite and told my sister to take the meat out of her mouth immediately and smell the chicken. Just touching the meat made our hands smell so bad of the rotten meat that we needed baby wipes to remove the smell and even those could not remove it. The taste left in our mouth was horrible. We told our waitress about it and she said she wasn't able to smell due to a cold or sinus and whisked the food away. She took some time to come back then asked if there was something else we wanted to order .Reluctantly we did order the lava chocolate cake with ice cream to try to take the taste out . Not kidding the cake part of the lava cake was only partially done. That has to be the cooks call on these types of mistakes. We were in there on January 31st about 1 o'clock in the morning. The manager Marta did finally come over but said the same thing the waitress said, and that was that She wasn't able to smell the chicken because of a cold. So now we know they are all working while ill. My sister P. and I told her we were very concerned about the quality of the Chicken meat that was being served and the possible health problems it could cause. Marta, the manager said that they had been serving that item off the menu all night and no problems. Not good to know. Marta did not have a badge on at all so we don't know that she was really the manager or not. She said it was her first night there and to come by the Murrieta Denny's that she normally worked at. We were assured for some reason that the food there was better. This may have been a one time mistake on Denny's part. But once with salmonella is once to many times. Maybe a retraining of the cook and manager. A full uniform on the manager and staff also. Just be careful at those hours at this Denny's with this cooking staff. The manager on duty at 4:30 PM on August 9 2013, 23857 Clinton Kieth Rd. Wildomar, CA took my order for a half order of "zesty nachos". I requested real cheese instead of the pepper jack cheese sauce they usually come with, because I hate cheese sauce. I overheard him tell my waiter that I wanted "cheese only" on my nachos, and that was all he told him. This poor effort at communication was bound to have bad results, and sure enough it did. My waiter brought me a plate of tortilla chips smothered in cheese sauce, with some grated cheese on it and nothing else. I explained to the waiter that I ordered nachos with all of the regular toppings, meat & cheese etc. but simply wanted no cheese sauce. The waiter apologized and said he would have the kitchen fix it right away, which they did...sort of. He brought me a dish of chips with chili and heeded cheese on it only, and the cooks didn't even bother to melt the cheese. They left off the "freshly made pico de gallo and sour cream" as advertised in the menu description. I was in a hurry, and running short on time, so I did not send it back a second time to be fixed. Worst nachos ever. At least the coffee was good. How does anyone who practices such poor communication skills become a manager? read more
