They came here to eat & she would their server. Unfortunately she was not there when we came. =( We stayed anyway. It was super cold in the restaurant. We kept our coats on. UPDATED REVIEW: We stopped coming to Denny's for breakfast due to life changes (nothing to do with them). A few nights ago on a Saturday night we wanted a late dinner so we ventured out to this Denny's. None of the staff we once knew are there now but no matter, the service was still excellent. They have remodeled since we last ate there and the restaurant is nice and clean. The ambiance was quiet and low-key - mostly just passing truck drivers on that rainy Saturday night. I got a breakfast omelet for dinner - mushrooms, ham, onions and peppers, and Cheddar cheese - and it was excellent. My husband had country fried steak and he enjoyed it. Overall a very nice meal, with an average price. I hope to eat here again soon. read more

This Denny's is right off the interstate and is located in a Flying J Truck Stop. I was there just before noon. Not a lot of customers, I thought for this time of day. I was greeted and seated promptly. Ordered a double cheeseburger. It was $11.99. The burger came with fries. The meat really was nothing spectacular, but the burger was very filling. Probably should have gotten a single instead of stuffing myself. My drink was $3.09. I thought that a bit steep. Overall, the servers were friendly, but not as attentive as I thought they should be. My server was Tiffany and it was only her second day but she was on-point the entire time, not only with me but prompt with every table that was sat with her. I'm currently on a high protein diet and she was fast to point out healthy options. The diner is very clean and updated. I recommend the 9 grain waffles. It softens up everything. They seem to be understaffed so the service was a little hectic. It was a little bit of Mayberry and a little bit of High Anxiety. It was the kind of experience that makes you afraid not to tip. read more

another one where with the exception of mine last year the reviews are quite a few years old so compared to Google time to show a little Yelp love here time to up it by one star. consistently the meals I've had here with the exception of one dismal one have been on point and above par. they do a real good job of keeping this place clean sanitized the employees have really good attitudes and it's been getting a whole lot better I've been making this one in my regular stops now where I feel anyway but to be able to have a good meal to look forward to. whether it's one of the breakfasts or the dinners keep up the good work. today I woke up a little later and I said I'm going to have brunch and really get my eat on. haven't had steak and eggs for a while so I decided what the hell I've been a good boy. I didn't want a t-bone but I wanted to sirloin so I got myself a sirloin breakfast with it's on medium right on. hash browns were done nice little bit of crisps to them but quite tasty once you mashed up the eggs and got it all together. coffee was good hot and fresh waitress kept refilling that's one thing I've noticed a check on you a whole lot more here too so the reason for upping it to Star as of now. read more

I had breakfast and lunch in two separate shifts at this location and both times the waitresses ignored me after my food was served unless it was to bring my check so I am guessing they train their waitresses to ignore their customers so if you expect good service go anywhere but here because you won't get it here read more

Rudest place ever!! Customer service sucks never brought me bill and person ringing me up acted like I was an inconvenience

I am utterly appalled ! I went to Danny's this morning and was given a filthy coffee cup !! Meaning when I drank half of my coffee I saw a thick coffee ring at 1/4 level of my cup !! I drank from that cup !! When waitress was called her reply was ...Oh, would you like another cup !! Really !! I couldn't even finish my breakfast knowing that they are that irresponsible and the question in my mind " who was drinking from this cup before me ?! " The manager apogized and said she would take off the coffee ! Really !! I didn't even. Eat half my breakfast because of this She refunded my breakfast but seemed like begrudgingly !! Completely Unsatisfied with the whole experience !! And Hoping I don't get sick from that cup !! I rated 1 star but at this point because of how the situation was handled by staff I really don't want to give one star . read more

Best Denny's I've ever been to. The service was wonderful, the food was fresh, the portions large, and everything tasty. We ordered bacon tots, chicken strips, the super slam (crunch hash browns and perfect pancakes), chicken fried steak, and I ordered a chicken Cobb and avocado salad. One person asked for extra butter and they gave us an entire bowl full! Everything was perfect. The only thing is the mashed potatoes weren't very good but everything else so amazing. Stopped for a quick breakfast, the food was good and hot. The service was very slow. With the restaurant half full we had to flag someone down just to be seated. That was about 5 minutes. Then took about 15 minutes to get our order taken Food came out in about 20 or 30 minutes. Overall just very slow. read more

Listen this is every RV travelers dream. Tons of space. Seems very safe and very bright. Gas station that is huge. You name it it's in there. And a restaurant to get breakfast before you go out again. It's a Denny's so I don't expect you to be spectacular for the service to be great. But that's OK. Didn't have to pay for a hotel or a campsite just to sleep overnight. Yep food was horrible. Yuck read more

We usually go to the Denny's off of the main street exit in Greenwood. Tonight we were closer to the one in Whiteland and decided to give it a try. Our server, Maggie, was very pleasant! We didn't have to wait long for our food and it was fantastic. My husband and I both had the chicken skillet and the children had the bacon cheeseburger and chicken on a stick. It was all well cooked. The manager, Taylor, checked in on us; she was pleasant to speck with and she invited us back for kids eat free. The dinning area was clean; tables weren't left dirty for more than a few minutes. All in all, we had a great experience and we will defiantly be back! read more

I went here tonight not expecting much. I've been to a few Denny's in Indianapolis and did not leave impressed in the least. This time it was different. I left Bojacks after a 20 minute wait for service and said," I haven't been to Denny's in a while." My friend Agreed. I walked in and headed to the bar style seating where I was yelled at by the older waitress who said," where the heck do you think your goin!" I like this place already!!! I love when the server is a character with a good personality. She was great. Her vibe was playful and we talked about the 3's company episode that was on. She kept my coffee full and served me great tasting food. Kudos to their cook! I actually stayed a bit longer for 2 more cups of coffee after I ate just to converse with the waitress a bit longer. Awesome lady. I will get in here more often. I guess the place has to have a more Wiley staff to shoot the shit with the stories the truck drivers share in here. Real sweet spot. read more

They don't even deserve one star. After 34 years of eating at Denny's I'm done. We spent an hour waiting for our food. We were charged 1.19 for 1 slice of bacon when it said on the menu 2 for .99. Our food was so cold we weren't able to eat most of it. I got a $11 meal and the only thing edible was the cold toast. Management wanted us to wait another hour to have our food recooked. We had already been there over an hour with a 3 year old getting progressively cranky. After waiting a few months since the last time I went I'm done. If you want to eat here do not go past 2pm or you'll be forced to pay for garbage. read more

We stopped here at this location on June 11 to get a bite to eat. We were traveling and on vacation and we like to eat at Dennys for that is where we stop when we are traveling. The server saw us sat down about two tables from us and she had to be told that she had a customer waiting to be served. We were served luke warm coffee. I ordered Country fried steak and eggs and it was served to me on a plate. I didn't leave much of a tip because you could tell the server didn't want to be bothered with us. We make this trip once a year and I can tell yo with 100 percent certainty we will never stop at Dennys in Whiteland, Indiana for any kind of a meal.
