Very very poor service after your order you just wait wait & wait there's about 30-35 people sitting and only one waitress & lady at front running back & front , I know lot of guest at best western hotel next to Dennys every one was complaining about service & so many things are not available from menu , this is not an employees fault its management i don't know why the management don't do anything it sucks Sorry to say but I don't recommend this place to anyone. Wait time for food was ridiculous. When food was brought to table, it was cold. Waitress never came back. Got tired of waiting for check after dinner, so I finally just went to the front counter and asked for my check. This Dennys is going downhill fast. read more

Well what can I say. When I arrived at this establishment I was seated fairly quick however once I made my way to my food domain they took approximately 13 minutes till I received my delicious refreshment of Sprite. Then when my nourishment finally arrived it took another 40 minutes to take my order. I told them I craved the appetizer sampler but I was not So Hungry and actually wanted two appetizers of delicious nachos. Upon arrival I started to go ham. All I could see was cheese and tortilla chips mixed together in a heavenly combination. The sprite complimented the nacho cheese which then gave me a hankering for a refill of my sweet nectar. After my cuisine I decided to enjoy the sweet nourishment of a chocolate cake. I placed my order and let me tell you I had been here for about 4 hours and I then got a new waiter. She was kind took my order with ease and I received my cake with quick haste. As the bill came I felt the satisfaction of finally being full. I used to be a hobo on the streets and I finally earned enough money for a phone and a nice meal from this So Called Denny's of Wasco California. My dog Kenny really enjoyed my leftovers and my bill was moderately priced I enjoyed my time here. Unfortunately my dog died later that night due to the tortilla chips. I don't blame Denny's I Blame myself if I was let so selfless and just ate my food my dog would still be here. I had to leave her behind the restaurant where every now and then I can remember the time I finally got to eat and the day my dog finally got the chance to try nachos. All in all this experience was once in a lifetime I will travel to every state and tell them of my experience and to beware of nachos they do not digest well with dogs. had lunch here today and it took 45 min to get out food. We were hungry and grumpy by the time we ate.

Went in this Morning, our server was Gabriella/Gloria something along those lines. Anyways our food like everyone else's on here took about 30 minutes for breakfast, I asked for Hot chocolate it came out cold. I sent it back and asked for Orange Juice instead, My server took it and never brought me my orange juice. I ate my food dry. We asked for hot Sauce and she stated sorry they are already placed on other tables...so we apparently didn't get the fully stocked table. Our food seemed to take longer due to flirting and joking going on in front of customers. I had to even get up to ask for my ticket. Don't waste your time make the drive out to the Denny's on 7th Standard/Merle Haggard. I will never go back to this Denny's read more

A typical Dennys . The food was good. The employees look like they all related and clones of each other. Nice looking people. I was attended promptly and the food was good. Only thing they overcooked the fried chicken steak. Otherwise all was good. A Very very busy place that needs better management of employees. =) read more

Horrible costumer service. Not even a smile from none of the girls. I am a Dennys fan and this is the only Dennys that don't do my fajita mix side . They don't come to give you refill coffee , or ask if everything's fine. The one on the truck stop is way better than this one. read more

This place is so bad honestly. The food is okay, the service is horrible. The waiters pass by without giving eye contact purposely so they don't have to check up on you (even if it's slow). It's ridiculous. I'm surprised nothing has been done about the people who work here, or even the manager. It's such a shame to see. I won't be coming here again until they step up their service and attitude towards working as a team. read more

So, being from Wasco, my wife and I frequent this Dennys outlet about once a week. The food is usually good and the service is passable to good but very few times is the service great. Tonight was an episode in unbelievable, and I am not talking in the good sense. Our visit tonight started out usual- no wait to be addressed at the door and seated in a booth. Drinks served and orders taken. Food served to temperature and a very cheerful young lady waitress and friendly. At one point, I will say another wait staff person, was wiping down a table immediately behind us and just as our waitress came to ask us if there was anything she could get for us, the other waitperson must have noticed another group come in the door, and yelled (yes I mean like at the top of their lungs) to the new customers "WELCOME TO DENNY'S. I WILL BE RIGHT THERE". The waitperson then continued wiping the table. I addressed my waitress in a nice tone but loud enough to be heard "No. But it would be nice if she (the other waitperson) would not beller like a town caller during our dinner, that would be nice". The waitress smiled and walked away. I spoke to my wife saying that she (the table wiping staff member) must not have heard me. The other wait staff member addressed me and said "excuse me?" In a friendly tone. I replied in an equally friendly tone "Oh you did not hear me. I was telling my waitress that I would like it if she..,". The other wait staff got indignant and interrupted me and stated in a loud voice "I am not a women" then picked up their cleaning cloth, wheeled around and firmly marched to the back of the restaurant, and stayed there for probably 15 minutes or so. Within 5 minutes, our once friendly waitress appeared, asked if we wanted dessert and when we said no, quickly deposited the ticket on our table and left. She did come to the table twice more, but my wife even noticed a cooler attitude toward us. We paid our bill, tipping 20% like always and left for home. So we have an upset wait person, who was called by the cook and answered to "Dana" who turns haughty, says their piece on indignation (the person had a high voice, was dressed unisexually, had a haircut like a lot of women wear today), a waitress who changed demeanor on a dime for an honest mistake, a group of customers wondering what was going on. Friends, if you want good service, I invite you to visit one of many other eating places on Hwy 46 and in downtown Wasco that will serve you to death. If you are satisfied with a group of moody adolescents that have no idea about restraint and courtesy (and a bit of respect and understanding for elders who make honest mistakes) then Wasco Denny's is probably the place for you. One has to wonder what kind of manager allows yelling by staff across half the length of a restaurant to customers and treat customers shabbily. Definitely not my first choice of a place to eat on WASCO. read more

The food is good here , the staff do their best to provide the best service possible . Karla was an excellent host , great job in letting us know what they had unlike other times when I would order and they would back 20 mins later saying they ran out of something . This Denny's is horrible ! Service is very very slow and there were only four customers in our section the waitress asked other guests how they were doing and didn't even check to see if we needed a refresher on our coffee! We had to tell at her to get her attention food took over 35 minutes to come! Never eat here again. Ever!!!! read more
