Ok, of course I have gone to so many other Dennys, and this one in Wasco ca is no where near the spectrum compared to the others I have gone to but certainly not the worst, but todays visit was by far the worst...I walked in after ordering 2 Strawberry milkshakes for a curbside pick up order but I also had to order another one so I decided to go in to order that one and also pick up my curbside order, I was approached by one of the workers and attempted to explain my situation before I finished explaining she walked away mid sentance also with out asking what flavor I wanted so ME trying to avoid her making an additional strawberry when I wanted vanilla I tried to tell another worker to tell her before it was made and she comes back and says "you said you wanted a third strawberry" I said no you didn't ask me what flavor I wanted for the third milkshake you walked away before I can finish explaining then she said "ok what flavor then" I said Vanilla and she turned and walked away again with no other word the whole experience was so awkward and embarrassing I understand they might have been busy but there was no reason for her act like that at all read more

Best service from Dennys bar none. Went for my sons birthday on 12/23/2021 My waitress made sure we were well taken care of. Drinks always full and made sure to ask if we needed anything like we were the only people in the restaurant but it was somewhat busy. I did notice that the empty tables could use a little bit more attention as far as a good wipe down. When I asked where the bus clerks were I was told that the waiters and waitresses had to bus their own tables Because they are short handed. So they are doing two jobs. I've been here twice. Both times in the wee hours of the morning so there was no waiting to be seated or crowds. The staff, both times were very friendly. They kept my coffee cup full.. which is vital.... and the waitress was very attentive. It's Denny's. The food is about the same at every Denny's you go to.... so what can you really say about it. You either like it or not. But when it is 4am and there are not a lot of places open, it is like a beacon of light to sustain that early morning need for caffeine. read more

Favorite place in town to start my day off with some breakfast. Not only do the cooks do a great job on every meal I order, but I am also greeted and helped nicely by every server. It has all the components to be one of the must go-to restaurants in Wasco. Keeping in mind that it just got remodeled, I feel as if I'm eating at a classy and very sanitary place. My young daughters like this place and it's the only reason we ever come. But after eating here a few nights ago, I don't think we'll ever be back again. It takes them forever just to come get our drink order. Like 15-20 minutes after being seated, when it's not even busy. It was very warm inside and when we asked if they could turn up the AC, the server said they couldn't. I asked if we could get my daughters salad before our meal (normal right?) & the server forgot to bring it. We had to remind her. We ordered the chocolate hush puppies and then she told us a few minutes later they were out of them- BUT a table who sat down after us got them. Ok, it is what it is. But then they ended up charging us for them! We didn't even get them?! My husbands burger was over cooked. 1 teeeeeeny slice of avocado (he got the avocado burger). They forgot the bacon on my sandwich. They forgot my daughters fries and we had to wait almost 30 minutes after we got our food for them and everyone was done eating. Ok, first of all the one star is for the actual food service time. The attitude of the managers and waitresses I would give them 4 stars. So, in total in my party there was 6 people. Since it was nice out, we decided to dine outside. We were the only people outside but the there was people inside that had already got their food. So logically we thought we would get our food fast since we were the only ones there that needed to order. The manager and waitress that took our order were really friendly and fun. I cannot complain on their attitude. Everything was going good until 1hr passed and still not a single food item was brought !!!! Let me tell you people started showing up and they started getting their food first ! We decided to give them a few more minutes and almost 2hrs in nothing until my husband decided to speak to a waitress. Finally, the first two plates which I must say are the easiest thing to do (chicken tenders) were the first out. Even with the simplest thing they got it wrong. We were just to hungry to send it back. Then finally two more plates showed up then another. Everyone was eating except my brother who had ordered the salmon. He decided he did not want it anymore since he was waiting for almost 2hrs and 20 min. The manager or waitress came out and told him to still eat it and felt bad for the wait, but we just couldn't stay there any longer. She offered to pack it up to go but my brother was riding a motorcycle and couldn't carry it. She apologized for the wait which at first I understood since sometimes it gets busy but once I saw everyone who showed up later than us already eating or finished eating I was just not having it. Stay away from this Denny's. Horrible service and horrible food. Waitresses never check back and you have to get up and go ask to get anything, which is ridiculous. They should be on it. Mind you, this is when it's not even busy. The waits are very long also. The last time I went I got a plate that was a joke- it looked like they scraped up the last bit of rice and mashed potatoes and it was cold. Came in on the graveyard to a lovely and cheerful waitress who handled my every need. Needless to say my satisfaction has been met when it comes to my late night early morning cravings. Definitely give Maria a holler since she takes very well care of her customers and nothing bad to say about her since she was always ready to get my next refill or aide order. At Denny's I had a really bad server her name was MARIA. We came in at around 10:40 and we got seated by a very friendly server after that it all went down hill we sat down got our drinks in and as soon as Maria came back and ask for our order it took at least an hour if not more for our food to come we weren't the only table waiting for food. The thing that made me the most upset was that once our food came by we asked for extra buffalo sauce and she made an annoyed face. No la chinguen her excuse was that it was busy. This was the most frustrating yet depressing visit ever. I usually opt out dining at any Dennys restaurants, but it was 4 a.m. and nothing else was open. Also I did not want to wait for my hotel's free breakfast at 7 a.m. boy did I regret! I mean, I was coming off my buzz and still noticed our food delaying, usually I never noticed especially inebriated. Anywho we ordered typical breakfast and a sample platter, the sample platter was good, but our main course was lukewarm! They pretty much came 5 mins apart and one was colder than the other. Such a pet-peeve of mine! While we were waiting our drinks took forever to refill and by the time it got refilled out bill accompanied our refills inconveniently. I stop by Wasco for work at least once a month, and I often eat at Denny's... it been a while since I came here last but the whole place looks brand new! I order a burger and let me tell you, I'm picky about how I like it and it was perfect. The burger was juicy, not over cooked and huge! Loved it! Cannot believe what a gem this town has. There servers were friendly and make you feel like you're wanted. Wasco needs a nice place to eat like this. Placed an order and was told they ran out of hash browns. So I moved on from that and ordered a double burger. After sitting for more than 10 minutes, the server came back saying they didn't have any hamburger patties left. So I changed the order again and after finally getting it, I asked for ranch dressing for our my French fries and side salad. I was told they ran out of that too. I was disappointed and would have preferred to eat something I wanted to eat other than eating my third choice. No discount or free beverage.
