Horrible service, nothing but kids working there. They messed up my daughter's order, and mine I asked for no mushrooms in my skillet and I think they put extra. So when I mentioned it she said it would be another 20 minutes, so she took it to the back and they gathered around and started laughing including the cook! So I've seen the movie WAITING, and I decided to cancel my order, they got so excited that they were all saying we get to keep it, so two of the girls decided to split it. Yes they were really loud. Never experienced such horrible service like this ! Very rude , unprofessional and plain out disrespectful service. From the very beginning when we walked in the tone on the hostess's voice was not welcoming as she tells us we can only order appetizers. So ok we decided to stay and just order coffee and an appetizer. We are told they already threw out the coffee so that's a no on the coffee. We asked what was their closing time since it is Xmas eve but online it said they were opened 24 hrs - she said they were closing soon ( it was 10:05pm ) she said she would go ask what time they were closing. Then here comes a young man asking what he can help with, we explained that we wanted to know what time they were closing so we could figure out what to order- he said around 11:30 pm to 12:00am - so we kindly asked if they could brew coffee ( he's telling us we have almost 2hrs until closing time) he rudely responded with no we are not making coffee. So we said okay, well what are you serving. THIS RUDE ASS FLIPPED THE MENU OVER ,SLAMMED IT ON THE TABLE AND SAID " Drinks are on the back!" We get it no one wants to work on Xmas eve..... Then close the damn restaurant , go home and do whatever the hell you want do not mislead your customers and then give them attitude like it's our fault you have work! We were never disrespectful to them and we only asked for the closing time because we didn't want to inconvenience them with our order. We asked for their names and they refused to tell us. They are beyond slow at this Denny's there were maybe three other families and we waited 20mins to get our food that crazy slow by the way it was just me and my wife. The food was ok my over easy eggs were cooked too long and pancakes were burnt. But the bad language coming from the employees really made it hard to sit there. Our waitress really likes the F BOMBS. Updated: 9/10/19 Shortly after writing my first review, I was contacted by my local Denny's regional manager Gabriella. Gabriella politely asked for a second chance to make it right. She explained to me that there had been sweeping changes to the restaurant since we'd last been there. I figured, why not? As we walked in the restaurant, the temperature was very comfortable, the floors were spotless, and we were greeted warmly by the staff and seated immediately. Jose, our server, showed up within seconds of us being seated and took our drink orders, made suggestions on appetizers, refilled our drinks often, and was excellent throughout our dining experience. Our food was served promptly and it was the freshest, best tasting, we've ever had at this restaurant. During our stay, Francisco the district manager came by and introduced himself and asked us how everything was, he did this at every occupied table as well. He promised that the "Old Denny's" was never coming back and he was personally overseeing the training of a new store manager to make sure it doesn't. I'm happy to say that my family will now be looking forward to our next visit, total 180 from the last time! read more

We sent in our appitizer order with our drinks hoping to get it ahead of our meals. We then waited 30minutes to just get everything all at the same time. This establishment is a joke. The reputation in town definitely matches the actual horrible service that everyone complains about. My latest experience I got my drinks 10 minutes after I have arrived . Then we waited another 15 minutes and had to ask a different waiter than we had to ask if we can order. Our actual waiter came shortly after and said "I thought you guys order was take ". My food then took 25 minutes to come to my table and never once did I get a refill on my drink or offered any kind of additional services. Finished my food and had to ask at the front desk to get the check. Once I was going to leave my waiter came and asked if we needed anything else. By far my worst experience at this denny's thus far. Stayed at the Best Western right next door to this Denny's. Thank God it was in walking distance, don't think I can sit in the car much longer after the day I had. Given that I decided to walk down to dinner at 8pm, it was still like 82 degrees at night! Walking in the air was on blast and the restaurant was clean. A few patrons here and there. I sat alone, and my waiter was awesome. I was served immediately. Super polite and quick with my requests. My food was cooked how I like it, it could have been because I was starving, but nonetheless delicious top sirloin steak with cheesy potatos and garlic bread. Yum. I also ordered a chocolate lava cake yummmm.... I was watching Netflix, enjoying my alone time and was thankful no one tried to rush me out or close my tab when they saw I was just sitting there drinking my soda. My coworker and I decided to go have lunch at Dennys but I decided to call ahead and order. Alisha answered the call and was very accommodating on when to put in our order so it'd be ready. When we got there I asked her if they had any soups and she delightfully answered yes they had chicken noodle soup. When she brought it she asked if I would like any Tabasco or chalula sauce since I'm suffering from allergies and I'm all congested. I was beyond grateful for her customer service! We arrived after church and were promptly seated. That was the best part of this dining experience. There appears to be no systems in place to track when people are seated and in what order they are served. We were seated before FIVE other groups and there orders were all were taken before us. People received their orders out of order, and the family behind us had their meals delivered several minutes apart (the woman received her meal 10 minutes after her husbands). My wife had to go and ask someone to take our order after waiting 15 minutes. Even after she asked for someone to come take our order it took almost ten more minutes. They need to work on improving their service, seating, and attention to detail. As I write this we have been waiting over an hour for our food and it still has not arrived. I believe that the staff is doing their best however management has not created systems to ensure successful service. We arrived at 9:20 and it is now 10:37....still no food... I should have checked yelp prior to coming...most people had the same experience. Update: food arrived at 10:50...for me and my mother in law..the rest received theirs about 8 minutes later. They messed up my wife's order and they forgot the toast for everyone. read more
