This place is very friendly to Veterans. Im enjoying my first free meal as a veteran.

The service was unbelievable, I'm visiting home for a short time so it is nice to visit a childhood favorite. Everyone was so welcoming and bighearted. Sequoia was our waitress. Koiya was also very sweet. The food prepared by the Chefs was made with care and the flavor was on point. I have good memories with family ordering the the Bourbon Chicken Skillet and Crazy Spicy Skillet (also a favorite of my other family). The dishes were cooked like if a mother had made it. Also if you ask nicely for the Chiles Toreados on the side the Chefs will prepare that as well. So good! Great experience and good laughs. Amazing people, staff, and service. I will definitely go back again!!! read more

Excellent service. Our waitress was very attentive and food came out promptly after ordering. I always see a lot of cars in the parking lot and now I see why. Definitely the best Dennys I've ever been to! read more

This is probably my favorite experience at any Denny's our waitress Marcus was amazing with all of our special accommodations for my gluten allergy! Food was fast and Marcus was so great I will for sure be back soon! Thanks again! read more

Today I came here with four very HANGRY kids. To make matters worse, this place was PACKED, had a decent wait making my youngest hangrier and asking for pancakes NON-STOP!! I was afraid of the service because it was so busy, but we got very lucky with an AMAZING waiter, MARCUS!! He was not only patient but had Superman speed in getting our orders in the system and plates on our table with very minimal wait. My daughter observed how hard he was working and never walked by a table without "swiping" empty plates, etc on his way to the kitchen. We didn't know his name and nicknamed him, "Swiper" lol. If you want excellent service, ask to be seated in Marcus' area, I know I will ask for it next time in read more

Came in about 9:30 pm for some desert . Sat ourselves. Wasn't very busy The manager Rose took our order. She was very nice and quick at getting our order to us. She seemed to be a better server then any of the server that have waited on us. Excluding the graveyard server (Bonita). It was a very nice experience. Would love to work there.lol. read more

We keep coming back here for amazing service and wait staff!! We ALWAYS have excellent service and experience!! Today we had the pleasure of having SUSAN as our waitress. She was quick in taking our order, patient with the little and despite the restaurant being busy our wait time was fast!! Food is good but we keep coming back for the great staff!! Thank you again Susan!! read more

Don't waste your money here, they don't take care with how the food is prepared. I ordered a California club which is always really good (not at this Denny's), and it was basically thrown together w 2 slices of turkey folded over, soggy bread and soggy fries. Will never order here again. read more

This are go to place for ALL our birthdays... we absolutely love how they come out and sing to you. Their service is excellent, and their food is just as good (if not better) than some more expensive places here. I know that Denny's has a image issue. So me and my friends just got off work from a long day , we thought about what to eat and we all decided on Denny's . We walked in and we didn't get no greeting , hello , how you doing , not even a smile . His name on the receipt is marc k , I'm assuming it was him . he was very irritated and rude as soon as we walked in . this should not be allowed for anyone to treat customers like this . read more

I normally order here literally every other day and tonight was just upsetting when my fiancé had told the guy working that I had wanted a sourdough toast instead of the garlic dinner roll bread with my spaghetti and meatballs dinner and he had put the order in and when my fiancé noticed the mistake on the dinner roll and asked for them to change it to the sourdough toast and he was told it was cost him extra to change it to the correct order because he( the guy working) had place the order in wrong. If I'm not mistaken it was his fault for putting in the order wrong in the first place. read more

Horrible just horrible service!!!! Took about 16 minutes to have the host ask what we wanted to drink- THEN another 12 minutes to get our drinks fr another host , another 15 minutes to have a waiter take our order, and 20 minutes to have our meals served. Ridiculous- this is my first and last check in here at Denny's in Tracy. Never goin back. Period. read more

DON'T GO TO THIS PLACE our car was broken in by thieves last Thursday in their parking lot, the same people broke another customers car too, the thieves got away with alot of our valuable equipment and other persons too, same night two cars and apparently their cameras picked up nothing SERIOUSLY!!!! DO NOT GO its just unsafe, they deserve no star Am just pissed of at the management/owners, this place is like a SET UP of ROBBERY to innocent customers And apparently it's a re-occurring thing read more

Is there a crime problem? Most definitely. Management knows it and there are cameras facing the parking lot in every angle possible. There are even gigantic signs every few feet that literally says "Do not leave anything of value in your car." It's a bad area there is no doubt. There is a large and run down apartment complex right behind it and you can see a lot of people just hanging out. I guess I was extremely lucky because I stopped in for dinner on my way home to get gas off the freeway and didn't look at the Yelp reviews. Came in around 6pm and left at 7pm. Drove a nice car and nothing happened so I guess I'm really lucky. It's too bad the crime here really deters people, but the food and amazing service at this Denny's is worth another shot. I ordered a T-bone steak dinner and it was cooked just right. Food came out fairly fast and my waitress is just absolutely amazing. She went out of her way to check up on me every few seconds and was very friendly. I left her a big tip before my Yelp check-in. I didn't even realize there was a crime problem in this area until I started reading all the Yelp reviews. It's just too bad because this is probably one of the better Denny's I've been to. Maybe if management would hire some security guards during the late hours to deter some of the crime; that may help. read more

Went for a Sunday breakfast around noon, they were busy but we were seated quickly and had drinks on the table within minutes. I've been to other Denny's in different cities and found general trend of Denny's food to be greasy, overly buttered and burnt carbs and proteins. Alas, this Denny's Holiday Grand Slam's of Orange-cranberry pancakes, Gingerbread toast, and grilled ham steak tempted me to try their food again. And to my surprise, the pancakes, french toasts, hash browns, and ham steak were cooked picture perfect. They were not burnt! Nor did they leave me with a nasty greasy feeling in my mouth. The pancakes were my favorite. Not only were they golden brown, the orange and cranberry flavors were an awesome combination! The gingerbread toast wasn't as good. It barely delivered the gingerbread flavor and was a little soggy. The rest was pretty average. The environment was clean and the staff exceptionally friendly. Overall, for a Denny's Restaurant and from the way these few items were cooked at this location, I suspect the other foods here should be properly cooked. Not burnt or too greasy, to say the least. read more

I've been to my fair share of Denny's in the Bay Area, even Florida! But I've never been as greatly treated as I had at this Denny's today. My waitress was Kimberly, ASK FOR HER! She is amazing! She was full of smiles, she was so welcoming, and she really wants to serve you. She made sure me and my party's drinks were always full, she made sure our order was perfect, plus the manager was super friendly, she came by to ask us how our food was, even to refill our drinks. My only complaint was there wasn't much of a hostess. We stopped to play the grab claw arcade game to get a stuffed toy, when we finished, we stood there aimlessly staring off into space for like two minutes until our waitress shouted to us from the kitchen area she would be with us in a second. I felt bad for the cook though, there was only ONE! For about seven or eight tables with orders that needed to be cooked right after the other! Me and my party were so happily surprised when our food arrived that all of our food was hot off the stove. Not one of our plates were lukewarm. My sister got the pancakes, which obviously were fantastic, my friend ordered some Mozzarella and cheese sandwich with bacon, and I got the Spicy Buffalo Chicken Sandwich with seasoned fries. My friend said his food was great, mine was delicious! My sandwich was piping hot I had to stop mid bite to let it cool a little. I would definitely eat here again as long as Kimberly was my waitress. :] read more

Came to have breakfast with my husband but first off don't let the rating full you service is fantastic our server Linda was the sweetest and attentive server we had in a while. The food was on point and management making sure we were comfortable and taken care of. THE PROBLEM, was the fact that we can hear how rude and disrespectful the Cooks were to the servers that type of behavior makes our dining experience awkward uncomfortable and tainted our time there even tho we addressed it to the management and they took care of it at the moment I don't think this type of behaviour should be unnoticed and unaddressed my the owners as a regular customers I wouldn't want to loose Linda quality customer service because she's not comfortable coming to work bieng disrespected by her fellow co workers especially when the customers can hear all the commotion from the back very unprofessional. Came here for a late breakfast on a Sunday. The place was packed but we were seated quickly. I must say, the staff here is very efficient, organized, on the ball and friendly. Too bad the food isn't. Five stars for everyone from the hostess, our server, and the cashier. Two and a half stars for the food. Daughter loved chocolate chip pancakes. Son had Moons Over My Hammy and said it was average Dennys fare. Mr. had a smoked chicken sandwich and fries. I had a build your own slam and should definitely mention that the scrambled eggs were yummy. I'm not a fan of scrambled eggs usually but these tasted very buttery. A few generous pats of butter thrown on by the chef saved the day! The hash browns were not brown and the pancakes were crispy on the outside. read more

Sometimes bad breakfast experience can give you a sour taste in your mouth and even if it's a big chain you sometimes get a 50/50 on whether it will be good or bad. Luckily, I've never really experienced it here. This Denny's doesn't disappoint with the pancakes! I love to order the choconana and gorge myself in the whip cream and chocolate. I'm pretty simple so I usually order the hash browns and scrambled eggs with cheese. There has been no complaint on the way it's cooked. The service has been pretty consistent and fast so my husband and I promptly receive our meal at a decent time. read more

I've been going to Denny's my whole life(who hasn't) and I'm sad to leave this review but my God, I had BY FAR the worst meal there I have ever had...and I was in the Marine Corps! I ordered online. I ordered a burger and the bun was as if it was dipped in water. It was soggy and so disgusting. Fries were not even seasoned with salt. My husbands steak was burnt. My daughter didnt even receive her order. My sons chicken sandwhich was cold. The ranch dressing was rancid. There were meth heads blocking the door. Denny's needs to move their location away from the motel and get some damn pride. A once nice little restaurant has turned into a total slum. We used to take our family there for a little treat but unfortunately it's no longer safe....nor edible read more

Bittersweet being back in town. I've had so many memories going here throughout the years and the quality of the food just stays great for me. My experience with this place has pretty much only been at like 2am, so I've avoided the crowds you might say. Denny's is Denny's. You've been to one, you've been to them all. This one is pretty nice and clean, friendly service, though a bit pricier than I would expect of a Denny's. I'm sure I'll be back again. Free Wi-Fi while you eat. read more

I love Denny's and this is my third time here in Tracy and they always treated us with respect but today was a different experience that i wouldn't never thought i would of have in my entire life. So, i have 4 small boys and i asked to be seated at a booth of 4 because it is big enough for us, since we are small people. But the hostess Rhonda seat us at a table of 8 chairs. I asked politely if we could seat on a booth instead. The most interesting part was when she said that by LAW we were not allowed to seat on a booth of 4!!.....I've worked in at a restaurant for years and I've never heard that before. So i searched on Google and still didn't find anything... i give a 5 starts for food and services tho. The 1 start if for her rudeness and the disrespect that she gave to us read more

I have been to this location several times on trips to the Bay Area and I have always been very pleased with the food and service here. My most recent visit prompted me to write this review. I decided to come after I got off at 3am to eat they only had one hostess and waitress in one Rhiannon. Now she is very sweet but not as attentive as she should be. Maybe today wasn't a good day but I begin I gave her time before she came to check for drinks and menu and about 12 minutes she took my order. 20 minutes later food came out pancakes were over cooked/ inconsistent with the ones that were given to other customers and also she didn't bring any syrup. I tried to get her attention for 10-12 minutes raising my hand no response then another customer came in got her attention she then acknowledges and takes the other persons order. The omelette was tasty and I don't know how the pancakes tasted because I was turned off by not having syrup and burnt pancakes. read more

We're are regular customers to this Denny's. The service on average is excellent and you can't beat the price for a good meal. The food has been tasty 9 times out of 10. Overall we enjoy eating here for the food, friendly staff & you can't beat the prices. read more
