Overall, my friends and I had a wonderful time here when I came to visit the area. All of us really enjoyed our food, I definitely felt it was a little overpriced though for Denny's (but maybe I am unaware). The service was okay but one of the people seemed a little irritated from the beginning. Other than her though, many of the people working there were very kind. The ambiance is also very cool! I appreciate the ode to retro diners, keeping more authentic books and tiling from that era. Me and my friends definitely plan to come here again. read more

Sis and I were in the Rogers area around lunchtime and I remembered this 50s Retro diner from the late 90s. Last time I was here I was in high school and the nostalgia brought me back. But I didn't recall that it was a Dennys. I thought they were all closed but I was wrong. Walking into shiny metal building and being brought to a sparkly red booth, I loved the vibe. I loved the low top bar counter with spinning-seat stools. I loved the plastic seaglass Coca Cola glasses. I loved the black and white checker board tile. Sis gravitates toward bourbon burgers. This one came with bacon, savory mushrooms, green onions,red onion, tomato and lettuce. The sauce was like a sweet bbq that had a little kick. Fries were something I've never seen before, a combo of a thick steak fry and a crinkle cut (but on the long way vs the short). I ordered the Brisket melt. It comes with burnt ends, caramelized onions, melty white cheddar and American cheese on a perfected toasted bread. It also has scrambled eggs but I didn't want eggs for lunch. I did, however, ask for a side of Mac n cheese because that's a staple with burnt ends. From the picture on the menu, I thought the meat would be in smaller chunks but actually were pretty big. Each sandwich half had about 3 pieces which wad plenty. Great savory flavors with the buttered toast, onions and cheese. And the Mac n cheese was . Thick, gooey cheese... not runny or clumpy. Creamy not blend. Who knew that a Dennys had yummy BBQ (from my MN white girl palette). Place was clean, including parking lot and restroom. Service was fast and friendly. Check came in a timely fashion. And I loved paying at the front counter vs giving my CC away to a disappearing waiter who takes forever to come back. read more

This Denny's is great! Like a 1950s diner. Bright and clean with tons of ambiance. The service is phenomenal. Very fast. The breakfasts we had over 2 days were perfectly cooked and very tasty. This Denny's refused to honor TV ads regarding price specials on "slams" ( NO disclaimers on ads)! Two of us ordered eggs bacon, & 2 pancakes - scrambled eggs appeared to be "tube eggs - made with a filler"- pancakes were fine & coffee price was absurdly costly! Third person had Salmon - was not a filet, but a "chunk of salmon which included an ugly backbone" a lot of potatoes ( to fill the plate) and approx. 8 pieces of broccoli !! Terrible terrible meals!! Nostalgic Denny's very cool looking on the inside it is it is a chain and so you shouldn't expect gourmet food but the food is good especially when you're on the road and on the go the waiter and waitress were very nice cheerful and made suggestions which I was quite happy about I would definitely come back if I was on my way back. read more

Patti Maloney and I have been stopping at the Dennys in Rogers frequently after bringing Roger Rubenstein home on Sundays. We stop there because the food is good if basic and the service has always been excellent. Not so much today. The first issue was the server misheard my order. I had asked for my sandwich with no tomato. When my sandwich arrived it had tomato but no avocado. Eventually we were able to get our server's attention, and I pointed this out to him. No i understand mistakes happen, and as long as they are promptly corrected I am okay. However, that was not what happened. He wanted to argue with me for several minutes before removing the tomato and adding the avocado. Parti had also commented on the texture of her eggs and was informed that is the way they come out of the microwave (!). Well,it's will be a while until we go back there. I give 4 only because it's a Denny's. This location I like in particular. It feels 50s themed and the venue is nice. The vibe inside is nice. Staff is nice. And the food is what you'd expect. In particular this last time I went I had the Grand Slamwich, and let me tell you this sandwich definitely slams. Hungover? Perfect, hungry? Perfect, depressed? Perfect. That sandwich will cure any bad mood and deserves a 5* by itself. read more

My family and I were getting over a stomach virus last week and we just wanted something that would be easy on our stomach. We ordered pancakes and breakfast food to go. I have to say I was pleasantly surprised at the presentation, accuracy, and taste of the food that we received. I think it is always a gamble to order takeout food from a restaurant, but Denny's really did a great job, I even ordered it a second time last night and it was the same experience. Wow! Let me start with how impressed we were with the service at this location. During these recent pandemic times with restaurants and stores closed or with limited hours because of staffing issues, this Dennys is an exception. We were immediately met at the front entrance then seated and drinks offered. No wait times at this place. Our waitress was Annika and she was so friendly making sure we got our food and drink refills attended to. The food is also very good and priced well. We got the Mama Di's pot roast. This is our favorite dish at all Dennys locations. On this particular visit we met a regular customer who was such a joy and made our day with his positive attitude. He is 101- years old and one of the few remaining WWII veterans. We had a pleasant visit with him talking about his service in the Pacific. read more

Some of the credit goes to Peanut Butter and it's mystical powers, yes, but Denny's served them up fast and right off the griddle. Long review so buckle up. I haven't been to a dennys in years. I had a terrible experience once and haven't been back since. But I was a bit hungover today and being in my 30s it's not the walk in the park it once was. So I went to this dennys in search of gravy and grease. Despite being packed, I was seated within a minute and my order was in the kitchen within 30 seconds of me putting down the menu. The food got to me before I could finish my water and the manager Dave genuinely seemed happy to be doing his job as he talked to everyone and made sure our food was up to snuff. I don't know who runs this place or what the do to make it run so smoothly, but I hope they keep it up because I will be back. read more

I never thought I liked Denny's, but my friend wanted to meet here a few years ago, and we've been returning here ever since. In all of my visits here I've never been dissatisfied in any way. That being said I like to take refuge near the back where it's quieter. (Their jukebox music can be a bit loud for my liking.) I'm a young senior and I love their 55+ menu. The club sandwich is tasty and good. I always substitute soup or fruit for the fries. On my last visit I had the 55+ omelette with Swiss cheese, spinach, and zucchini. Absolutely delicious!!! And the accompanying fruit was a generous serving of banana, apple slices, and red grapes. I like other fruit but I don't like getting a bowl of pineapple and melon which was cut days earlier. A special call out to a wonderful server, JOY. She not only delivered my English muffin toasted dark as I requested but also assured me that her grandmother had lived to be 101 and that she always liked her toast a bit burnt. What a wonderful trip back in time to this classic diner! The food was timely and delicious. Best of all the service was top notch. Dave had a caring and generous approach to our family's dining experience. Our coffee cups never went more than half empty. As our meal came to an end, the plates were cleared as our bellies rounded out. Before the check came, without having asked, Dave brought my husband and I a full to-go cup of coffee with extra creamer. We were both truly shocked at the service. I am so glad I tried out this cute little Denny's. To be honest I usually dislike going to Denny's and I feel that this location is on a whole other level. I'm not sure who is in the back cooking but please keep the good work up! The boneless wings, the burgers, down to the shakes are so good and so affordable. Admittedly we try to visit local establishments as opposed to chains, but we also like a little variety, and lets be honest, Corcoran MN is not exactly a hotbed for local mom and pop eats. We usually have prompt service and excellent food at this Denny's. The food is served hot and fresh and with a smile! The exterior and interior of this Denny's is awesome! It sort of a post WW II 1950's classic American Diner theme. i believe this Denny's has been scouted out and used as a filming location because of this and I could see this Denny's being used as a backdrop to the opening of "Diner's, Dives and Drive Thru's". My favorite meal to order at this Denny's is the Moons Over My Hammy... always good. The staff are always welcoming, friendly and helpful.
