Stuffed hash browns! With 2 eggs and sour dough bread!

This is one of those places you might drive by because it doesn't look like a great place or fancy! Well it's one off those small town gems! Their Chinese is outstanding and the breakfast is killer and huge! Definitely recommend getting the stuffed hash browns! They are a meal and a half! Service is solid and the quality of food is fantastic, especially for a small town restaurant!

Great breakfast place! The service is a little slower since it seems only one person is waiting tables, but I would wait again any day knowing I'd be supporting a local business! The server is so hard working and I know the cook in the back is working as fast as they can! The food speaks for itself! Great breakfast, and the portions are HUGE! This place has a very homey environment. Absolutely recommend!

Their food is very good. We love the omelets. The staff are very friendly and wonderful. It is a quaint little place that is always busy.

Their Monster Burger is probably the best damn burger I've had in my life, and it's very fairly priced!

Don't let the fact that it is both Chinese food restaurant by night and breakfast diner by morning throw you.

American I was…read morestaying in Delano and well, there are just not that many places in Delano so a coworker suggested King House for dinner. The place is somewhat hard to explain - sort of a sports bar feel, and sort of a family restaurant, but however you classify it, they have really good food. Menu is good sized and there are plenty of options to satisfy most people in your party. There even appeared to be some Asian style dishes, which could explain the name. Our waitress was just awesome - and she had a dinner special menu as well. After looking at all the options, we ordered some apps (calamari) for the table and I went with a short rib special they had available. A glass of red and I was off to the races. Again, the available wines by the glass and bottle were somewhat unexpected when looking at the decor and well, the Ancient Peaks Cab hit the spot perfectly. The short ribs arrived and I have to admit, I was pleasantly surprised again as the presentation was spot-on and the food was done perfectly - it was excellent and I destroyed it. This place was so good, I ended going back the next night with different co-workers who also suggested it and and the same exact experience. Win-Win for Franco. All I can say is this: if you are anywhere near Delano, make your way over to this place and give it a shot. Parking lot is available.

There's a train running on track suspended from the wall by the ceiling around the bar, over bridges and through little city scenes. Simple food, plainly served. I had a great hand-made 1/4 lb. burger (mushroom swiss) with extra crispy waffle fries as I requested. Burger was delish, side of crispy waffle fries perfect, accompanied by an icy mug of Creme Ale. Friend had the daily special, sloppy joes. The meat is provided fresh by the Rieder Meat Market & Lockers next door. I think our lunches with the beers were around $10. Extremely reasonable, free popcorn, sports on tv's all around. Nice inside with a large patio with umbrella tables outside. (They aer NOT dog-friendly on the patio.) Fast friendly service, they were well staffed for a Tuesday lunch hour. Friend confirmed a bar full of regulars who come for daily lunch. She tells me they let the one guy take home popcorn to feed his squirrels. Bringing the husband back for the burgers and to see the train.

We ended up winning 2 times and came home with some local bacon, beef, and steaks. The bar and atmosphere are so cute for Delano, a small town, west of Mpls/St. Paul. There is a fish tank and a really, really cool train track setup that runs above you! They have such cute mannequins of local businesses and it creates such a unique experience. Staff was friendly, accomodating, and attentive during our dining exerpience! Definitely will be back for Meat Raffle and pull tabs, maybe not so much for the food.

We had a grumpy toddler and a spill but the staff seemed completely unfazed and attentive. I didn't ask for more napkins but they appeared, I didn't ask for coloring books but they showed up, and when you're a mom a bit anxious about being out with your children an attentive and kind staff makes a huge difference between a good night and rough night. The food was great, the kids burgers were way larger than I expected, my French chicken (?) was delicious. The burger my husband ordered was certainly made from fresh ingredients, maybe a bit more bland than he expected but that's the only complaint and it won't stop us from coming back for a date night in the future. I also tried the Snickerdoodle holiday cocktail and loved it. To add even more sweet holiday cheer to this review the hostess let my boys pick from a selection of presents under their tree and when my 7 year old got a Barbie (not his style) she told him he could pick another. He got slime and I'm suffering the consequences but still grateful for the Christmas spirit and wonderful time the staff gave us!

Although it's a bit of a hike outside the city, still not too bad on a weekday and it was nice to get out and try something new! It seems like an up and coming area for Monticello and development nearby. We came right at 5 when the restaurant opens and got a seat in the high tops. NOTE! If you want to partake in the happy hour, you have to either sit at the bar or in the high top tables. We didn't know this and wanted their chicken wings on the happy hour menu so ended up switching tables. In addition to the wings, my husband ordered the corn bread app which was pretty good too! Wasn't a huge fan of the spicy butter it came with, but strange but the bread itself was good. The wings had a good seasoning and the house made ranch was really tasty! Surprised there were only wings and no drumsticks which I prefer and the wings themselves didn't have a whole ton of meat on them so I'd give it 3/5 on the apps I ordered the 12oz New York strip and at market price it was $62, came with broccolini and French fries. My husband got the turkey burger which he wasn't a huge fan of he said but he enjoyed the fries. My New York strip wasn't seasoned well - if at all to be honest but thankfully they had some leftover A1 from Mother's Day brunch where the bartender made some bloody Mary's so that helped. Can't say the food was a knockout but the service was really good. The bartender who was our server was conversational, great dude, and offered great suggestions. Host and folks were also really accommodating when we hopped around the restaurant so we could participate in the HH. All in all, great experience and nice place to try!

Mirabelle was chosen for friends night out due to the social media post and it looking great on socials. I'd first like to say the staff here were amazing. We were helped by quite a few of them during our dining experience. We were even given a guided tour of the rentable event space, as well as the 2 other restaurant concepts they run, which are connected to Mirabelle. Shiki - Japanese inspired noodle bar, and Parlour Bar - Speakeasy vibes. Mirabelle has more of a supper club atmosphere. Back to the dining experience, we all ordered the drink special - I don't recall the name but we all enjoyed it. Kind of like a cosmo. We were able to catch a few things from the happy hour. As I said earlier I was looking forward to ordering the wings, which I did, but was later informed they ran out - we did go at dinner opening on a Monday - maybe they had a super busy week. I was left to only trying cheese curds and fries which were okay, nothing special. Others tried the caesar salad, a shrimp pasta dish, popcorn, and a few other dishes. Overall they weren't very impressed either. Probably would have enjoyed the other concepts a bit more personally. Also had popovers - they were very egg forward - smell and taste - also something no one really enjoyed at our table. The drinks and vibes were amazing though!
