[[HIGHLIGHT]]How many places have a full-sized caboose inside?[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]We stopped in the week before Christmas and everything looked festive.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] We ordered chicken wings and a burger, both of which were solid. The staff was friendly and attentive and the prices were reasonable.

The wings here are incredible. I don't know their secret but these are seriously addictive. The server said that they are marinated, then fried. The recipe has been passed down through three owners of the bar. They come with blue cheese and ranch dips. Lots of beers on tap, and great service too.

[[HIGHLIGHT]]This is such a fun spot![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] We were headed out of the cities for a cabin weekend and stopped in for lunch. We sat ourselves and were served right away. I got the shrimp basket, a pretty basic but tasty shrimp basket that oddly enough came with some plain toast as most things on the menu do. My friends got a burger and wings. However, when my friend ordered the wings she thought she was ordering the house special/dry rub but they were actually completely plain wings. She said while they were good, they obviously needed seasoning or sauce. So the menu was not completely clear on what she was ordering. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Overall a fun spot with a caboose you can sit in![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

[[HIGHLIGHT]]Cool bar with a caboose inside![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Service was good and we enjoyed the food. The Thai peanut wings were delicious and the choo choo wings were good (but quite salty).

Returned for the Ribeye & Wings and took pictures as promised, really a fun place with quality food and reasonably priced for today's market, will make the trip back soon!

We went here for breakfast on Sunday. The food was great and also well priced. The Bloody Mary's are big! Our server was friendly and attentive. The train car inside adds a neat feel to the environment. We definitely will be back!

I like the Choo Choo, great place, excellent service, good bar. I eat here regularly. 5 stars Two food items which need improvement, in my opinion, are ; Rueben and Burgers / 2.5-3 stars. The Burger is a processed patty with little to no flavor, nothing to talk about 2 stars The Rueben ( I love Ruebens and have them alot)was ok but it had WAY to much cheese, like my mozzarella / Swiss melted mix, I ate the corned beef and Croat with a fork and left the cheese plastered to the bread. Other than that it was ok. These items are not typical of this place, most food items are great!

The restaurant looks very fresh and new with modern decor. Hands down the best walleye I have had. The breading was light and very flavorful. It had a delicious light sauce that it was sitting in that made it literally melt in your mouth. The mashed potatoes are already seasoned to perfection so no extra seasonings needed. It is quite small inside and is definitely not suitable for large groups. I also felt the seating prioritized style over comfort. This is your typical millennial trendy burger joint that serves water with no ice in a small glass, has higher prices for the portions you are getting, and seems to just have one or two people working. Service was a little slow as it picked up around dinner time. For food, I got the dry rub wings and mac n cheese. My friend got a burger and chips and queso. The food is pretty good. I liked the wings, they had quite a kick to them, and the fries and queso were good. I was not impressed with the mac n cheese. Since Rockford is a small town, I am sure this place fills a void with the limited options they have but I also don't need to return.

I went there for lunch and sat at the bar. The bartenders were very friendly and helpful. There are over 100 choices of burger combinations on the menu. The burger was delicious. The Burger Monarchy: A Paradox of Plenty in Miesville In the…read morequiet, pastoral stretches outside Eagan, there exists a roadside institution that defies the modern trend of curated minimalism. King's Place in Miesville is a relic of a different era, a burger joint that functions less like a restaurant and more like a high-volume assembly line of Americana. The menu is not merely large; it is an overwhelming, multi-page manifesto of beef. With roughly 80 to 100 variations on the burger--many named in tribute to the local Miesville Mudhens baseball team--the experience begins with a bout of genuine decision paralysis. For the average diner, the sheer volume of choices feels like a dare. It is a place where you can find almost any topping imaginable, which makes the absence of a simple fried mushroom all the more jarring. It is the one note the kitchen fails to hit in an otherwise exhaustive symphony. When the food does arrive, the logistics are the primary entertainment. The floor staff at King's Place perform a nightly feat of athletic grace, weaving through the crowded, character-filled dining room while balancing five or more burger trays at a time. It is a spectacle of efficiency that puts the sterile, automated nature of modern chains to shame. However, one must navigate the side dishes with a discerning eye. While the temptation to "upgrade" is always present, the seasoned waffle fries are an investment that yields little return; they are best skipped in favor of the standard fare. The real value here lies in the core product and the refreshing lack of pretension. Despite the fame and the daunting menu, the pricing remains stubbornly reasonable, a rare feat for an establishment that has transitioned from a local secret to a regional landmark. "Life is too short to miss out on the beautiful things like a double cheeseburger." -- Channing Tatum For those seeking the predictable polish of a franchise, King's Place will be a confusing sensory overload. But for the traveler who values soul, speed, and a price point that respects the wallet, this is a kingdom worth visiting--just don't expect to find a fried mushroom on your plate. This makes the burger really chewy and you really can't taste the beef anymore like you used to when it was thicker. I would take this as it's not as good as it used to be. It is not as good as the original hype from the beginning. In conclusion, I do not think it's worth the $19. I rather get a cheesesteak for $16 at Tono's which comes with fresh not burnt fries rather than come back here and get a burger here. It's highly unlikely I will be back here. I honestly feel like the burgers have gone way WAY downhill. The fries here have gotten terrible so I stopped getting the fries a long time ago. They are not soft crisp like they used to be. They are too golden brown color, almost like burnt hard fries. I never like to eat down here. I normally would order the Parlour burger upstairs. The basement part which is Parlour has a weird smell like a locker room smell so that's why I don't like to eat down here.
