I haven't been to a Denny's for over 25 years. I guess I was feeling nostalgic for a grand slam breakfast special. The outside of the building has a classic Denny's architecture. Inside it looks to have been updated at some point. There is no diner counter, maybe there never was at this location. The booth we were sat in was well used. The service was expedient and appropriately friendly. The food and coffee were good. I tried the whole grain pancakes expecting they would be dry compared to buttermilk pancakes. And they were. Taste-wise, they were good. They take Apple Pay/Google Pay which is a plus for me. read more

Went Monday morning with my family and it was the worst food I've ever had the misfortune to pay for, my family agreeing. It already started off on a sour note when the waitresses bickered over whose "turn" it was then got worse when the waitress who lost started out with "watch out, plate's hot" as I found the plate room template at best. If this was the worst, a three star trip, maybe, but, damn, the bar only got lower. I ordered an omelette. I did not receive an omelette. I received a chunk of overcooked egg laid overtop the "filling" that absolutely couldn't be described as such given it was splattered directly on the plate. Then there was the "hash browns" overcooked, dry, ice cold, and just overall inedible. Finally, the toast, who can fuck up toast? It was cold and scarcely buttered making most of it just crisp dried out bread. I might have said something if my family and I didn't need to get on the road(them an eight hour trip and four for me) but I shouldn't need to say something to get a simple, hot, meal at a restaurant known for breakfast food. Stopped here on the way home last night. First, the restaurant was pretty clean, but it was freezing in there! I started with a chocolate milkshake that was the perfect thickness and so delicious. And it was cheat day on my diet so I got the loaded nacho tots with extra jalapeños and sour cream and the strawberry crepes. They charged me $.69 for extra jalapeños. And for the extra money, they could have kept them. I got the same amount as a regular order at other locations. Tots were scrumptious as usual. The dish is really heavy though, if you've never tried it. Crepes we just ok. The filling was meh and they were rubbery. Our server was good. She disappeared for a while when it was check time, but she was nice and pretty good about removing our plates and such. read more

I mean, it is a Denny's. You can only expect so much from them. Anyways, my friends and I are all autistic teenagers who come here at night, and we've never been made to feel bad for being there near close or for our existence as weird kids. One of my friends has an insane list of allergies and the waitresses went out of their way to find an allergy menu so he could find something he could have. They're very kind and tried hard to make sure everything was to our liking. Most restaurant staff wouldn't be so patient. So, neurodivergent kid friendly! read more

It's been a while since I've eaten at Denny's but, I had to, today. They are currently running a promotion called, Denny's Benny's. The one I chose was the Prime Rib Benny. It was downright delicious! The prime rib was mouthwatering delicious and extremely tender. The eggs were fresh and inviting. The hollandaise sauce was so good, I would eat it in a bowl, just as I would my favorite soup. Their hash browns actually blows Waffle House's away. And the sourdough toast was a wonderful complement to my meal. If you are a Denny's fan, hurry in before they're gone! Even if you're just a fan of a great Eggs Benedict, hurry in!!! read more

My G/Slam eggs slimy & under done after asking for 'basted med', pancakes taste like bisquick but dryer, syrup like pure Karo or corn syrup, bacon too thin & greasy, service good and seats in the booth were worn out. What surprise me is the sub-par breakfast food quality(McDonalds quality minus the plastic), McDonalds has way better coffee. Not what Dennys once was...but we were there to dine out a WWII 103yr old veteran, a police officer and new USMC son and enjoyed the pleasure of treating them lunch. Lucky many folks dont eat there and we can take plenty of time to talk without being harassed to give up our seat. Likely will not return. read more

It's breakfast- it shouldn't be that hard to get it right...! I ordered the Philly Cheesesteak Omelet because the picture made it look awesome. I could practically taste it w my eyes. Not much to say about this location other than it's WAY CLEANER than the one up the road! Not sure how that one is still in business! Food is always correct when i order and the waitresses are always sweet and accommodating here. The nachos are my absolute favorite app and their skillets are delicious. Oh man, do I have memories of this Denny's, which was a regular stop for my family in the low 1980's. I must have eaten here 100 times during my early childhood between trips to and from Century III Mall. I loved it then, but I barely tolerate it now. However... The Salted Caramel Bacon Brownie Sundae that is currently being offered as part of their pork-centric Baconalia (sounds perverted, don't it?) promotion. The brownie is bakery-quality, warm, and butter-smooth, and becomes almost magical when topped with the brackish caramel and bacon bits, not to mention the vanilla ice cream. You'd never think Denny's would sell something like this, eh? Conversely, the Bacon Cheeseburger, something I had no business ordering, was an overcooked, crumbly, flavorless debacle. But the service was very good. And that's about all the musing Denny's deserves. read more

Haven't been to a Denny's in a few years, so I treated myself to breakfast. Big mistake! The waitress was good and I got my food fast, but the eggs were greasy and cold, the bacon was cold, the sausage links were cold and the coffee was lukewarm. The only thing that was hot and good was the toast, but that's probably because I had to wait almost five minutes after getting my eggs to get the toast. The cashier asked me how everything was, and I just rolled my eyes and told her my breakfast was cold. Someone overheard me say that and remarked that they hear complaints about breakfasts being cold all the time. The cashier offered to call the manager over, but I didn't want the waitress to be in trouble, so I declined. Now I know why I haven't been to Denny's for awhile. We were very impressed and satisfied with our visit to this Denny's. Upon arrival we were quickly greeted and seated. Our waitress appeared and quickly took our drink order. She was very nice, friendly and took out order without a long wait. Our food arrived in a timely manner and was prepared to order. Unlike some restaurants our food did NOT sit under heat lamps and arrived at our table hot and immediately after being prepared in the kitchen. I truly enjoyed going to this restaurant. I do not go out to eat often, but when I do it is nice to be able to order decent food at an affordable price. I was really impressed with the quality and taste of their Alaskan salmon and new sweet potato side dish. Also, the servers were wonderful. I know that type of job is a difficult one, so when the servers go out of their way to be helpful and friendly, it means a lot to me. I give those people a lot of credit.
