Just A Cure For A sweet tooth. Many choices! Way better than my fallen cakes and doughy pies!

It was everything I hoped it would be and more. Places simply don't exist like this, at least not in Washington county. So good my wife had the Tuna Melt, which she said was amazing. It also just flat out looked good. I took a bite and liked it as well. I had the Swiss Melt, it was awesome. Nice and simple. My only gripe is that the burger could've used some more seasoning, and that's minor I asked our server how the chicken salad was and if she liked it. She said she doesn't eat it because she likes the Tuna Salad so much...so she brought me a sample of it! It was good too! I also liked walking into yesteryear. The ambiance was what I was looking for. Simple and good. It delivered and we can't wait to go back.

    Country breakfast with French toast

Stopped in for breakfast this weekend & immediately the staff was super friendly & eager to have us. It's a small cute diner with great food and even better prices. We both ordered the same thing, I ordered the country breakfast with French toast & she ordered it with pancakes. There was SO much food I couldn't finish my plates & I was absolutely stuffed! I forgot about this place for a while but I will definitely be coming back more often!

An excellent place for a traditional breakfast. It is a bit cramped inside, but the servers are very friendly and attentive. I got the French toast special with bacon and it was a steal in today's world at only $6.99. Others in our group got the country breakfast which was enough to eat for a day!

Hubby and I stopped here for a late lunch and the Steeler's game (with sound!) on 2 televisions. Parking was free on the street because it was a Sunday. The menu is extensive (4 kinds of Devonshires!), the staff are nice, and the kitchen is fast. I had a truly delicious tuna melt and hubby's tangy coleslaw (standard issue), while he had a burger (on Texas toast?!) and the fries. We aren't big eaters and each only ate half of our sandwiches and took the rest for lunch the next day. They also do take out. We would eat here again if we were in the area.

I was in the area and wanted some eggs and potatoes. I saw that the Joe's Rusty Nail had good reviews. The place was about average size and had adequate seating. The staff where nice and friendly. I ordered 2 eggs scrambled with home fires and bacon. The eggs where cooked perfect and the home fries where delicious. I was happy with the overall service and food. It was not the best breakfast i have ever had but it was ok and I would go again if I was in the area.

Haven't been here for years but visited because we were on the northside hiking the steps and got hungry. I remembered Rusty Nail from way back: good food, friendly servers, nice atmosphere, reasonable prices. Sho'nuff it's still the same. I was surprised to learn our server has been at Rusty Nail 40+ years; the server who brought our drinks, 34+ years. Unbelievable !! We got meatloaf, baked potato, coleslaw and western omelet with toast. Coffee was hot and strong. A great experience and I look forward to coming back

We ordered takeout from the rusty nail one morning. We walked in and we're greeted by staff immediately. They gave us a menu, took our order, and said it would be ready in about 20 minutes. We walked around Bellevue for a bit and then circled back to pay and pick up our food. (Note: they are cash only). Everything that we tried was so good! The portions are also very generous. We'll definitely be back!

First time here. Had a delicious eggs Benny and side of home fries with onions. Needed a splash of salt on the table but otherwise nearly perfect! Staff was super friendly and attentive as well. Will definitely be back

Good local home style restaurants. Portions were plentiful and service was good. They do not serve alcohol or take credit cards but wood was delicious, plentiful and reasonably priced.

Dinner special tonight. Stuffed chicken breast, mashed potatoes, broccoli, salad and bread. Not a bad deal.

Its architecture and interior design look beautiful and take you back in time. Its menu rotates seasonally, but example foods are caesar salad, chicken romano, salmon, NY strip steak, pork chop, vegetarian plate, cheesecake, chocolate mousse, and creme brûlée. Many wines, cocktails, and beers are available. Customers may either dine in or get takeout. My husband and I ate one dinner here. The hostess/waitress promptly seated us, took our order, brought out our foods, accurately charged us, and thanked us. Here are my ratings for what my husband and I ate during our three-course meal: March salad - 5 stars - This fresh salad contained a lettuce blend, goat cheese, beets, cauliflower, sunflower seeds, and a delicious celery-seed dressing. Shrimp bisque - 4.5 stars - My husband did not like this shrimp-flavored soup, but I did like it. Crab cakes - 5 stars - I received two HUGE Chesapeake-style crab cakes that were almost purely crab meat. They were much larger than what other restaurants serve, and they tasted fantastic. My husband said that they were some of the best crab cakes that we have eaten in a while. The sides were rice pilaf and cream spinach. Corned beef - 3 stars - My husband does not like many foods, so he barely ate these beef slices on top of potato cakes, cabbage, and horseradish sauce. Given his preferences, he should have ordered a safer entree. I took a bite of this entree and thought that it tasted alright. Lemon curd - 4.5 stars - My dessert was two lemon bars served with fresh blackberries, blackberry compote, and whipped cream. I liked the combination of sour and sweet flavors. The total bill was $104 plus tax and tip. THANK YOU to the gentleman who was sitting at the table next to me and noticed that I had accidentally left behind my take-home container of leftover crab cake. He followed me outside and handed me the container. Thank you! Important information: Walk-ins are welcome, but restaurants via Resy are recommended. The dress code is smart casual. I wore a casual dress, and my husband wore a polo shirt and jeans. I saw another customer wearing a business suit. The website mentions parking vehicles either at nearby street meters or in limited residential parking spots. An ADA parking spot is behind the restaurant. Events are held for holidays such as Easter and Mother's Day. Rooms are available to rent for private events.

The inside is bi-level, with the bar and some tables on the first floor and a smaller seating area upstairs that can accommodate around 20 people with three four-tops, a two-top, and a six-top. There was a TV showing the World Cup, and you could also see some of their brewing equipment. The red brick walls, red tile floors, Edison bulbs, pressure gauges, and large circular water shutoff valve all combined to give the space an industrial vibe. As I often do whenever I visit a brewery, I decided to go with a flight. At Lincoln Avenue Brewery that consists of four beers, and I chose the MoJo JoeJoe (Coffee Blonde), SNAFU (NEIPA), Aye Matey (Gose), and Grizzly Bear (Grisette). First up was the MoJo JoeJoe. It was nice and light with a pronounced coffee flavor that carried through the middle into the finish. I actually enjoyed this more than your typical coffee stout because the coffee was more prominent while still allowing the beer itself to come through. Second was the SNAFU. It started out smooth before plenty of hops took over and lingered through the finish. Next was the Aye Matey Sea Salt Lime Gose. After the IPA, this beer was refreshing with a good lime flavor. I got the sourness up front, followed by the coriander, before finishing with a strong lime note. It was one of the better gose beers I have had thanks to its balance of tartness and citrus. Last but certainly not least was the Grizzly Bear Grisette. It started crisp but then became surprisingly malty and slightly sweet through the middle and finish, which isn't what I normally associate with a grisette. Even so, it was enjoyable. Out of the four, my two favorites were easily the Coffee Blonde and the Gose. They are completely different styles, making it tough to pick an overall favorite. For dinner I chose the Reuben with potato wedges and smoky bacon aioli while my wife went with the chimichurri portobello flatbread. My Reuben was described as house-cooked corned beef, sauerkraut, homemade Thousand Island dressing, and Swiss cheese on grilled marble rye. My wife's flatbread featured a chimichurri sauce base with portobello mushrooms, roasted red peppers, and mozzarella. The timing of our food was a little odd. My wife's flatbread and my son's pizza arrived with my Reuben, my potato wedges came out a few minutes later, and then my daughter's grilled cheese followed about five minutes after that. My Reuben ended up being good. The marble rye was nicely buttered and toasted, there was plenty of tender corned beef and sauerkraut, and the sandwich was satisfying overall. I do wish there had been a little more Thousand Island dressing, though. My favorite part of the meal was actually the smoky bacon aioli that came with the wedges. It had a great smoky bacon flavor that kept me coming back for more. My wife thought her flatbread was good, although not quite as impressive as some of the other meals she has had here. The bottom line for me is that I would head back here again in the future. Both my wife and I enjoyed our meals, but the beers are really what stand out here and make Lincoln Avenue Brewery worth the visit.

It took them over a year to renovate it and they still aren't done in the back and the parking lot is a little rutted but the inside is very nicely done. There is a huge bar and some high and low tables scattered throughout. The clientele is mostly locals and lot of laborers grabbing a drink and a bite to eat after working hard all day which was great to see. It's super casual and very open inside. We had a few beers and the bartender was good. She was attentive and was waiting on 20 folks at the bar as well as table drinks. The manager was able to help serve some food to help her out but never once asked us how everything was. That was a little bit of a missed opportunity in my opinion for a new business. We ordered a breakfast burger that came with some hashbrowns on the side. I assumed, which is my fault totally, that the burger would come with lettuce, tomato, etc. but it truly was JUST a burger, egg, and cheese and absolutely no other toppings. That was disappointing and I really wish the bartender would have asked if I wanted anything on it. I ended up using ketchup for moisture since she was so busy and I was hungry. :) The hashbrowns were frozen and fried so they were nothing special. I think this place has tremendous potential. We'll be back to try something else. It seems busy so that's a good sign.

Had the Isleys chipped ham sandwich which they serve warm with melted cheddar, grilled onions on a bun. However, they were gracious enough to make it for me cold, with Mayonnaise and a slice of cheese. This is unlike another place down the road (RI) from them that wouldn't adjust items on a sandwich for me last week. The waiter/bartender was super chill too, easy to talk to and basically good at his job. Our refills came quickly and without asking. He followed up to see what we wanted a couple times and the food arrived in a reasonable time (not much waiting at all). This was so very different from that same day where at our usually spot (another old bar/restaurant further down the road, "SJ") we had to walk out just after ordering lunch due to getting attitude from a mouthy waitress. Glad we decided to try this new spot! Great job! I think we found our new local "go to" bar/restaurant. Looking forward to it and to soon trying breakfast there on weekends too. A must try f you haven't been there yet.
