My fiance and I came in on a Saturday afternoon, and there was only one server, Nikol, there who was playing hostess as well. She had tables all over the restaurant, and yet she was handing her business. She never wrote anyone's orders down but got them right, even the modifications. First, let me start by saying that I'm from Vegas so I'm used to poor service along with a rushed feeling. That is an anxiety driven food experience. THIS LOCATION is nothing compared to an anxiety driven food experience. There was food debris and spoons underneath a booth I decided to sit in with my family. I asked for it to be cleaned as it was a corner booth near windows. They proceeded to just offer other seats. Then when I insisted on sitting at the corner booth, they placed us in the front to wait where I noticed food ALL OVER the restaurant floor as well as folded paper menus to hold the tables and chairs in place. To boot, the waitress was so annoyed by the fact that we asked for the booth to be cleaned. The chairs were still not cleaned and I had wipe them down myself. I noticed that most of the chairs had some sort of food debris on them. The utensils.... don't get me started! The food was good. I can understand if it were busy but that was not the case today. Also, the employees seemed to have attitudes. When cleaning tables, items were thrown into the cart. Have you ever gone to a Denny's and been served COLD eggs? Yeah, neither had I until this experience. I definitely think this location needs a makeover all around. The interior is super outdated, old, and worn down. It doesn't seem like the kitchen staff know what they are doing considering they are serving cold eggs to customers. I love breakfast food and I love Denny's even more because of their wide assortment of food on the menu. I must say, this kind of me made me not want to go to another Denny's again unless I see that the interior is in good condition. I know you can't always judge a book by its cover but this place - was definitely bad all around, including the food quality category. I decided to give this spot at third try. The first time the food was oddly both overcooked and underdone at the same time. Second time there were the dead flies, dying flies and the living flies and only half the order came out correct. Third strike tonight is the first time I've ever walked out of a restaurant after ordering. The entire order was wrong waited 30 minutes for drinks another 30 for the wrong order and frankly was just too hungry to wait and went to a different restaurant. 3rd Strike they're out will not be going back to this location which is unfortunate as it's literally across the street from where I live. Went there today after taking the wife to the DMV. We were greeted initially by a nice young lady that showed us to our table promptly. Our waitress, Yvette, was prompt on asking us what to drink, bringing our drinks and taking our order. So after ordering, we waited maybe 5 minutes for our food, a double cheeseburger combo and zesty nachos, to be brought to our table. Yvette provided us with refills of water and great customer service. The food was superb, we left pretty full and with a to-go box of nachos (the quantity and quality of nachos is parallel with the price listed). We provided a 50 percent tip for the tremendous service from our waitress. We got there around 6 p.m. on a Monday evening and none of the tables had been wiped down. The floors were dirty and sticky. There were flies everywhere but we were told that was normal because this is Arizona. Of course, the flies got worse when food was delivered. Son got chocolate milk that was warm and they brought ice cubes to make it colder. Our food arrived cold which would be explainable if they were busy but there were only 2 or 3 other patrons in the restaurant. I hadn't been back since my last review in 2014. My son convinced me to try it again about 2 months ago. We have now been back 3 times. The service has improved tremendously. Each time we've been back they have been very attentive, fast, and friendly. My food was fresh and great, with the occasional hiccup but no one is perfect. The last time we went back they had renovated the place and it looks great. I think you have renewed my faith in you Denny's! read more

This is a very crappy restaurant. I went in around 8pm on a Saturday night and I wasn't even acknowledged to be seated. They walked right past us when we were waiting to be seated. Then we got to our table and the server said she would be back right after she took another table's order. She didn't come back until some 20 minutes later. I ordered my drink and didn't even get a water because they only had 2 servers. Worst customer service ever. I ended up leaving because I never got something to drink. If I could give a negative star, I would. My large party and I received horrible service at this Denny's. We were missing items, drinks were never refilled, and our server disappeared. However, we did see him go into a room with a girl, shut the door, and then play on his phone. So we proceeded to speak with Miranda, the manager, at the end. She dismissed it all as the server "being new". She proceeded to explain to us that all the servers were overworked and tired and it was the end of their shift, so no one wanted to take us. But that he had volunteered when no one else would and that she had to give him credit for that. They also tried to charge us for items that the restaurant was out of or drinks/meals we were never served. Then they implied that we were trying to run out on our tab because we would not pay for our missing items, told us to come at a different time and with a "different shift". To add insult to injury, when we were leaving, they said bye and whispered loudly "and don't come back". Their lack of disregard, their blatant indifference, and their obvious contempt is appalling. My mom and I went here yesterday morning and it was packed as usual for a Saturday. I asked to be seated at counter since there was open seating. The young Mexican chick behind the counter did not acknowledge us. I had to ask if she could wipe the counter down. She stood around talking to the other Mexican customers. It took for another waitress to walk up and assist us, but not before her asking the young girl did she take care of us. Our waitress was nice she only got lost for a little while when we told her we needed a few minutes to look over the menu. The food was great as it always is, but she forgot my syrup when she brought out my pancakes and that only took her a few minutes to bring back as well. Once we were done and went to pay the manager was in a full conversation with another customer and once he finished he hello took the receipt and payment, but never once asked how was everything!!! Bad customer service goes a long way and I have no patience to eat at an establishment that makes me fill like I'm not wanted or where the workers don't want to work... The other waitress gone walk up to the register not say a word just snatched my receipt out my hand which included my debit card which she basically slams on the counter and proceeds to ring me up. I have purchased many items off the menu over the years and have been very happy with the results I receive. Denny's is one of my favorite places to eat out at. They have great customer service and things usually go well. This Denny's in particular has become one of my favorite places to eat out at because the waiters are incredibly nice and always trying their best to stay on top of things. Usually young people are doing all the seating, taking orders, and serving the food. Being a teenager and moving at a fast rate and not making a mistake is outstanding, but then again we're all human and everyone makes mistakes. The waiter is always quick to have you seated, to take your drink orders, and bring you the menu. The waiter usually waits 5 or 10 minutes then comes back to take your order. The food is mostly hot, sometimes warm but never cold. The wait is about 10-15 minutes but that's understandable when you have a bunch of orders and only a limited amount of people in the kitchen. The waiter continuously kept checking if we needed anything, for example a refill or napkins etc. The seating arrangements are pleasant. It gives off a comforting vibe as soon as you walk through the door. The prices are great. They have a 2$-4$-6$-8$ menu which is great when your just trying to get one simple item. read more

The server had to go find out everything I asked him and didn't come back for 20 after each question.
