Even without reservations we were seated immediately. Water and menus were on the table in the blink of an eye. Our server, Josephina, was quick to take both drink and appetizer orders. I ordered some bread, not immediately realizing the difference, and should have ordered the focaccia. The martini that my wife ordered was, in her words, perfect. The Caesar Salad was the best I've had in quite a while. Just incredibly fresh greens, great dressing, grated cheese, and tasty croutons. I could have made a meal just from that. My wife ordered the Spinach & Ricotta Ravioli and I had the Lasagna Bolognese. Neither is an unusually elegant dish but both were prepared perfectly. The house Chianti was so enjoyable that we ordered a bottle and enjoyed it throughout the meal. To finish off the experience we had an order of cannolis and they were delicious. The happy hour menu is pretty small but includes the Shrimp Arrabiata (1/2lb or full lb), Cheese Pizza, Margherita Pizza, $2 off cocktails, and a few more items I forgot to take a picture of!! Our server was a friendly man with dark hair and an accent. He was super nice but we noticed that it would take us a long time to get something we needed, like the check. In his defense, we were chit chatting for a while and probably didn't look like we needed help or service. No hate, he was very kind with good intentions.
