Wasn't too impressed with our visit here this morning. Waited for a while for hostess to even come out and recognize there was someone there. Our waitress Jocelyn was sweet and food came out promptly. But we asked hostess for utensils and had to wait yet again. Plus, the kitchen staff was yelling out constantly. We weren't expecting much from Denny's, but having to listen to kitchen staff yelling over tables and servers yelling back over customers is unacceptable for any restaurant. Woah! This place looks Way nicer on the inside than it did before the remodel. Food and service is still the same (obviously) which isn't a bad thing. My gripe about this place is that every time I've been here, there was always something wrong with the order. Doesn't matter who the server is or where I'm sitting, something is either missing/added to my order. This is pretty common for this location because other patrons in line talk about their order mistakes too. Servers will take back the order and have it fixed without another word, but the wait for the food to be prepped again kinda sucks. read more

Came here at 10:30 pm. Some of the hardest workers ive ever seen. The host, the servers, the cooks all working there butts off. Mad respect, the restaurant was still PACKED and they still took care of everyone's needs. Even disgruntled customers were taken care of in a polite and timely manner. I noticed there was a piece of lint hanging off my French toast but figured I can just not eat that part ... As I walked up, I asked the waitress if I needed to just have a seat (outside) or do I need to go inside to order? She hurriedly walked off as she said "both, we got both" so I go inside and she was on the phone and hold me to hold on. Another waitress as if I wanted for here or to go? I said to go, she gave me a menu then left. So I'm just standing there. A few minutes later, couple walks in and another waitress asked them in Spanish if they were for here or to go? They said to go, she seated them and I'm still standing there... so I decided not to spend my money where it wasn't wanted and left... I walked into Denny's around 9:57 and we were sitting there fine waiting for hem to come take our order. When the waiter Tina came got our drinks and everything she got them all correct. I asked nicely the lady if you can tell the people not to over cook them and she was like no they cook until the amount when the timer goes off. When I got them they were burnt didn't really taste good. If you like rock hard chicken tenders this place is for you. We got our check we looked over it they charged us for a water bottle that was like 2 something but we didn't get bottle water. The customer service there was so bad they are so slow. read more

Sat there for thirty minutes until I finally asked again, turns out my order had been ready the whole time, it took the manager reading the order tickets because apparently their staff doesn't know how to read????? This is a really great Denny's. I saw this glorious safe haven from the morning munchies at 545a on my way from Sd to Vegas. I asked the cook what he liked to make and proceeded to demolish the fully loaded nachos(great with big chips decent amount of meat and wasn't soggy) followed closely by the country fried steak skillet which came out piping hot on a skillet to boot. Roasted veggies and the potatoes are great they're like those ol kinda spicy ore ida tater tots mama used to make. Washed down with a great hot coffee or three and a vanilla sundae with Oreo crumbles, extra crumbles, and I was a happy camper- so happy in fact, I wrote this review, which takes a lot for me lol. Great service. I'm happy on how we were serve at this location. Our server was polite, nice and made us feel welcome. We waited 20 min to get seated but we waited another 15 min before Cher came to asked if Michelle had served us (which we were obviously not with menus on the table & no drink or anything). I was here this morning a little after 8am and I had the worst waitress ever. Jennifer C. did not bother hearing what I wanted to order all I said was strawberry cream pancakes and snatched my menu out of my hand. I don't have a gallbladder Soni can't eat greasy food and wen she brought me my order it had hash browns so I asked her if she could take them back and I can get fruit instead and she looked at me like I was insane. Ordered food Online with GrubHub. Order was never picked up by Grubhub driver. After 3 hours of waiting had to go pick up order myself. When I got there it was busybwith other gubhub drivers waiting for other orders. Person working there asked what I was there for. Explained the situation and low and behold there was my order sitting there on the counter for like three hours. Hope my family doesn't get food poisoning. They didn't even offer to make a new order. Went in for breakfast 11/30/2016. We were told it would be a few mins. I noticed one of your servers come up and tell the hostess that he had a table ready. I like that he made a table for us. Cesar Lopez was a great server. Took our order, made sure it was correct, brought it out to us hot and remembered to bring my husbands milk with the meal. It shows that he likes his job. The last two visits to Denny's in different locations further from our home has been suprisingly remarkable. I am not a fan of typical American food, but my son enjoys a pancake breakfast on any given day. We went with a friend to this location on a Monday evening for dinner. Doug was our server and I almost thought he was the same server we had in Murrieta as they both share the same work ethic, which is very important. No matter what we do for a living, if we are capable of accepting the paycheck, we should pour our love into it. It is always evident when someone takes pride in their work. Doug had a few tables, but never missed a beat. He was pleasant, funny, kept our glasses filled, offered recommendations, and made sure that we had plenty of napkins and condiments. The food was good-my son finished his pancake breakfast. My veggie skillet was good with the added avocado. We will definitely return to this location next time and wish Denny's would enforce a standard in their servers as we cannot find this level of service near home. I ordered the full zesty nachos and it was not a great experience at all, not even good. The nacho chips were stale and soaked in grease, the taste was awful as if whoever cooked them didn't have a clue what nachos are at all, and just threw some sour greasy meat and sour cream on it. I will never order those again! Here's a tip Dennys, you're in California, how about learning what REAL Mexican food is, and then put it on some chips. Service isn't good at all. I ordered jalapeno Sriracha burger. The man brought me a burger with bacon. When we sent it back it was the same. We were hungry so we didn't want to bother sending it back. When we were paying I explained to the lady which appeared to be manager. She was very condescending. And made me feel like it was MY fault or not sending it back the second time again. She said "well it's the burger without the sauce. " And I said yes but we didn't get what we ordered. Basically a bacon burger. She was zero apologetic. It looks like she was over her job. That's not my fault. If you can't give decent customer service why be a manager. Change jobs. smh. Came in Saturday morning and it was packed. A good 30 min wait, we wernt in a rush so we waited. The place is small so what do u expect u know but when you see at least 4 cooks in the back and plenty of waiters it shouldn't take 30 min to get your food. The food is descent but its stuff you can make at home which instead of going to Dennys I'm gonna have to go that route. Our service was just ok I guess, she kept coming around telling us our order is up. Just bring it when its done, don't lie to us. The food was good but oh my God the service is such a mess I won't be going back to this location, had to ask for a waiter after they set us and we set there alone for quite a while. Had to ask the waiter for refills after we set there with empty glasses for quite a while. Had to ask for a check after we were done with our meal after we set there quite a while. Definitely a very weak link waitress was the heavy girl working the section behind the cash register. I think she was the one causing problems for everybody. She's a complainer and customers aren't there to listen to complaints from waitresses. I know that every Denny's is different and some are great, and then there are the not so great. This Denny's is one of the great ones. Went there last week with my fiancé and we both had their hamburgers. What a treat, as the patties tasted fresh, and you could tell that they were hand formed, a rarity in restaurants, and the French fries were also perfect. Just crispy enough and hot. The service was fantastic as our waiter doted on us, kept our drinks refilled and I couldn't ask for a better meal, especially for the price. I have paid more for hamburgers that in general sucked. read more

I am not a fan of Denny's, but can't pick and choose on Christmas. This trip there I just have to commend the young man Ty, who is working the from and cash register. He is a master of the multi-task and is having fun talking with the customers. He made this trip to Denny's and enjoyable experience. Do not let him go!!! Finally got around to the review. Had a late night breakfast here a few weeks back. For some reason it was crowded and our server KD still made us feel like we were her only customers even though she was the only server in the place.She made an excellent menu recommendation and kept our drinks filled. Service is ok at best. The food is pretty good, it is a dennys after all. The waiters are often slow or more concerned with their side conversations. It can take forever to get your check. It's nothing special but nothing truly terrible. I did take one star off because it is in bad taste to ask for a tip. read more
