We got seated quickly and waited about 5 minuets for someone to take our drink order. She finally came around and then vanished for about 10 minuets then came and took our order (still no drinks). She then came back and asked what our drinks were and we finally received the drinks. She then comes back and asks about our order every few minutes asking what we ordered and how we ordered it. We waited about 30 minuets to get our food. Only was asked onetime for a refill on my drink after I flagged the waitress down. We came at 1:30 on Saturday and the breakfast rush was well over as there were only 4 tables with people in them. Overall the food was okay about what I would expect from a Denny's restaurant. Everything was hot and looked like it was made fresh for the most part. After asking many times about the order it was still messed up. As for how clean it was in the restaurant I would give it a 2/5 table was clean floor was dirty didn't check the bathrooms as I don't even trust public restrooms to begin with but based on how everything else looked I'm sure they weren't the most clean restrooms. read more

Worst experience ever at a Denny's. Waited 10+ minutes to get our drinks then another 15 minutes for utensils to stir our coffees. We should have left at that time because it all went downhill from there... Close to 45 minutes after we finally were able to order, our food arrived, not even being close to what we ordered. Once our correct oders arrived, our meals were cold i.e. the shedded cheese on my eggs wouldn't melt. The server was too busy to refil my Coke so what I ate of my cold meal was without any beverage. The manager informed our server to take 25% off our ticket, which really should have been 50%. When I went to pay, my AARP discount couldn't be applied because of my 25% discount for horrible food already in place. When I tried to express my dissatisification, the cashier walked away as I was talking to her. This fit right in with my visit today. A year ago, we visited the same Denny's on Christmas Day, and actually several times since, and were very satisified. Today was an unwelcoming experience. Another trip to my favorite Metro Phoenix Denny's. My son and I are creatures of habit. He always gets a slam, and I always get the Patty Melt. Denny's has taken this burger off the menu, but I always ask our waitress. Most restaurants will still accommodate, and honestly, it's a steal. It's cheaper than a combo meal at a traditional fast food restaurant drive-thru. Today, Stef was our server, and once again, the service was wonderful at this location. First time at this location. Loved the 50's diner look of the cooking staging area with the neon lights and silver metal backsplash. Our Server was awesome, she laughed with us and greeted us with an awesome smile and courteous! Nephew ordered the American Burger and he ate the whole thing, he loved it! Hubbs ordered Moons Over My Hammy Sandwich with hash browns, he liked it all. However, my grilled cheese sandwich and soup was a different story. My grilled cheese was not even melted. Had to send it back, they micorowaved it and it was finally melted. But way too much butter/oil used on the bread, the grease was dripping off the sandwich. My soup was supposed to be chicken noodle. Went to Denny's today for a late breakfast I do like Denny's and I like the servers at Denny's this particular server (Seth J) was very helpful took care of me quite well , his restaurant location is 43rd Ave. and Peoria Glendale, AZ 85302 I sat at the counter instead of a booth or a table, and he was the one that came up to me and asked me if I had been helped yet and I had not. I wasn't sitting there long, but after that, he made sure I had everything I needed when I needed it and my eggs, which usually doesn't get cooked right , he made sure the cook cook them just the way I wanted them, so thank you Seth. This dennys also runs "Nathan's Famous" out of their kitchen on Uber Eats for pick up or delivery. Ordered a few hot dogs for delivery and they were dropped off within 25 minutes. Pretty quick right? Well that's because they don't cook the hot dogs when you order them. I received my hot dogs and they were wrinkled and stale as well as the bread, as if they were sitting out for an hour or so before my order was placed. I even called the restaurant to ask about their process and the manager said they make the hot dogs after they're ordered. Then how were both of my hot dogs dry and wrinkled with stale bread? At least be honest about the process when it's painfully obvious. I wouldn't order from here if I were you! This will also keep me away from this dennys in general. read more

Came here for breakfast on Saturday 8/30/25 at around 8:30am. Shelly got me seated in her section. Her section was very busy and I saw her hauling a$$ all morning. She got my order, offered/ recommended extras such as cheese on eggs or hash browns. I can tell she's well trained and good at her job. She did excellent. Nadia checked me out at the register. Nadia is very sweet and she greeted everyone coming in with a smile and eye contact. I really enjoyed this mornings work crew. They have their work cut out for them because it was a lot of elderly and families this morning. And the elderly here were pretty pushy. One of them cut me in line to check out saying, "I'm just trying to pay and get out of here." Yeah, me too buddy; I hate that he cutted me in line--what an entitled pig. Also, the size of food portions have gone down significantly, especially for the price of it.
