The gap between being seated and actually being served has been a recurring theme across multiple visits, and at some point a pattern stops being a coincidence and starts being a logistics problem that needs fixing. When the food finally arrived it reminded me exactly why I keep giving this place another chance. The crepes with berries and mascarpone were delicate and well executed, though the kitchen could afford to be more generous with both the berry sauce and the mascarpone. The portion is on the modest side, which worked fine for me personally but may leave hungrier diners wanting more. The traditional omelet was the star of the visit, specifically the jalapeño wrapped in bacon that comes with it. It was exceptional and the kind of detail that shows real kitchen creativity. My only complaint is that there is only one. There should be at least two. The cinnamon roll is enormous, which is its own form of commitment, but the dough ran a little dry this visit compared to previous experiences. An off day perhaps, but worth noting. Three stars, and every one of them belongs to the kitchen. Sort out the service flow and this place jumps immediately.

Another friend also got the same dish and it looked like they just split our portions in half and served it on two separate plates. In general, I wasn't a big fan of this dish. The braised short rib was very tender, but the whole plate sat in a pool of salty sauce. I couldn't really make out any other flavors. The scoop of crème fraiche tasted exactly like sour cream and was not the consistency that I expected. The gnocchi's were made well, but I prefer mine a little firmer. However, this is complete personal preference. Overall, service was good, but food fell severely short of what I expected. I was so excited for all of these elevated flavors and ingredients, but, sadly, none of them came through.

On Tuesday afternoon June 4th I was at Dennys restaurant located at 485 N State St. Orem, UT and I witnessed a racist and discriminatory behavior in its maximum expression by the manager identified by the name of Hannah Schramm, in addition the manager's mother also participated, both against a single woman and her little son who only came to spend a good time together, without suspecting that this day would be a stressful and demeaning moment for her and her son. Where the manager and her mother falsely accused, without evidence, of cell phone theft and the most embarrassing thing is that they called the police to talk to the woman. It's disgusting to think that the restaurant manager herself and her mother would be capable of such an abhorrent act of racism and discrimination. I can't imagine how this woman felt being falsely accused by this manager and her mom. It's not enough with an apology or offering free food as the manager did after she realized she had falsely accused the poor woman. If I were the owner or general manager of the restaurant I would fire this manager immediately because it would be an embarrassment to my business to have employees like this. I hope that the owner or general manager of the restaurant that responds to this comment and the supervisors of this manager Hannah do not remain only in words, because if they don't act by firing this manager or giving her a strong disciplinary action, they would demonstrate that they accept racism and discrimination and would be complicit with this manager. To the people and Hispanic community that visit this place I would recommend them to think twice, three times if they want to spend their money in a place where they could also be victims of such a horrible act. And also be assured that I will share this unfortunate experience to my family and friends and on social media. I really hope that the supervisors will act against this manager who only puts the good name and reputation of Denny's and its good employees who work there in a bad way. read more

Well This was a bunch of crap if I ever heard it. First off I want to say that the Manager and the waiter that served me were excellent very professional. I went into Dennys on my freaking Birthday right when I arrived I heard some stupid waitress in the back practially yell OW my neck hurts ( refering to me because I suffer from chronic neck pain ) I was appaled I glared back into the kitchen where I heard snickering and people seemed to hide out of sight. So I did what I usually do and walked away from it. Is this really the way to treat customers especially ones that are suffering from things they cannot control???!!! I suffered discrimination, harassment and was falsely accused of theft by the manager Hannah! On Tuesday, June 4, I went alone with my 5-year-old son to this restaurant in Orem. Minutes later the police arrived to question and search me because the manager, Hannah, directly accused me of stealing her cell phone without first checking the cameras and lost her cell phone before I arrived at the restaurant. I was the only client who spoke Spanish there. Her mom was also there and was aggressive and racist towards me while I was holding my son and leaving the restaurant. I love that I can get salmon for breakfast, And on the senior fifty five and over menu , it's a great deal. The restaurant is clean and pleasant. Breakfast server was friendly and efficient.
