Don't normally write reviews but this Denny's has roaches and my cup was handled by dirty hands since I noticed the condensation around the glass was dirty like if someone touched a dirty floor than served me my drink. That isn't a good feeling to get right before you eat. read more

This location used to be good back when the corporation owned it a few years ago, but ever since these new geniuses bought and have been managing it, it's gone way down. Stay Away! I had an email from Denny's for a free birthday breakfast, but when I came to this location, the manager refused to honor the deal. Instead, he tried to up sell it and give me something else that would cost over $11 What a Rip Off. There were people sitting all around my table; they saw and heard everything the manager told me and were shaking their heads in shock, disagreement and disgust. Anyway, I was given NO free breakfast. I decided that I wasn't going to give them even a penny of my money. So, instead, I went to the Devonshire/Balboa location which is clean, nice, with better reviews and run by decent people who understand the American way of doing business. I got my free breakfast and ended up spending $10 more on a slice of Pie and OJ. Denny's is an American Diner and should be managed by people who understand and practice the American way of doing business. Shame on this Denny's ownership and management. You will be forced to sell back to the corporation or some other ownership soon, mark my words :))) read more

We have a weekly networking breakfast at this location. Art is a wonderful waiter. He manages to handle our group, remember what most people order most of the time. He is quick and efficient. The food is good, the check out is reasonably quick, they have put in two card readers - but like most of the chip readers you have to wait for the processing. Not the fault of Denny's. read more

This location I think is the best around the area. We had great customer service and the food was great. I always walk into a Dennys assuming the worst. Honestly most locations don't have the greatest customer service. I was very happy with the waitress who helped us. We only waited about 15 minutes for our food. I got the Country Fried Steak with mashed potatoes and a side of Mac n' cheese, which was delicious. Must try. read more

We dined in tonight and our server Raul was horrible. He was careless when dropping off the food which the plates just slid across the table and didn't charge us correctly. He said "Oops I made a mistake I can't go backand change it." ARE YOU SERIOUS? I can tell he is lazy and doesn't care about customers. This Denny's is the closest to my house and in the couple times that I've been here, it wasn't packed so we were seated and served pretty quickly. I had the T-bone steak and eggs and it was cooked to perfection! I normally have lower standards for Denny's steak but this was really really good this time. Service was good too. read more

Jose the person greeting me at the cashier was so unprofessional. He is the manager BY THE WAY! I come at 1:14AM to order a chicken cesar salad to go. Before I can finish my sentence he cuts me off to say "I GOT NO ROMAIN LETTUCE PICK SOMETHING ELSE!" I was surprised at his rudeness. I politely ask him what other options I have and he opens the menu and slams it in front of me and points at a list of other salads. At this point I'm extra annoyed and also confused as that didn't answer my question so keeping my cool I roll my eyes and pick the first salad on the menu. I turn to my friend and tell him "I am yelping about this." We turn to go sit down and wait for our salad and Jose turns around to yell at the cooks off the top of his lungs "CESAR SALAD BAD YELP REVIEW GUYS" the guys in the back seemed to be a little confused and so he repeats "cesar salad for this girl over here and she says she's writhing a bad review" he keeps looking at me as he is saying this as to get a reaction out of me WHICH HE DID I immediately got up and asked him for the manager to which he laughed and said I AM THE MANAGER so then I said I would like my money back for the salad I just ordered. He then proceeded to give me the money back and so I tried to reason with him while he is doing this. I was letting him know that what he was doing wasn't right and he argued that I was gonna write a bad review and that's why he did that....... hum last I checked that's super unprofessional! Yelping about my experience with them is my opinion about the kind of experience I had at his facility. That's why yelp exist! He shouldn't retaliate at a customer like that! Instead he should use his "manager" skills and try to fix the problem. Anyways! The manager on duty was a total douche bag Rude and didn't care that my ordered was made wrong he said "keep it" and ask the cook to make me another one. Not coming back here ever again . I can't say enough about this place.....wait..I'm leaving a review for a Denny's? A truck stop place? Ah "A truck stop place" it isn't anymore. Denny's has meals just right for the time of day you need; and it doesn't even have to be that time of day. This particular location is awesome. Great service..fast order to plate time. Food comes out well made...never ever messed up. I have order different things and have never gotten a undercooked or overcooked plate. There are a host of other food places all around this location, and I feel the most comfortable here. YES I have been to some others around here, The one near Magic Mountain should be avoided no matter what! Worse service in L.A. Spotty cooked food and service at the ones in Saugus and on Reseda/Saticoy. One on Sepulveda/Burbank is very good. Really never had a bad meal at any. Denny's is my favorite place to stop to eat and I always have a positive experience here. The manager is a nice man and he is always around making sure things are flowing smoothly. Food is consistent and served quite fast, even during a rush. Service is excellent! The wait staff is attentitive, on top of refills, precise, and friendly. We felt like eating at Denny's and this location is closest, since the Denny's at Devonshire/Mason is closed. This restaurant was real busy for breakfast on a Sunday morning. The staff was real friendly and we didn't have to wait that long. Service is ok. Was surprised that our waiter asked to refill our drinks when our drinks were half empty. Food was average for breakfast. My french toast was a little too flat and our hash browns was just a big mound of hash browns browned on the outside but still soft on the inside. It looked like they forgot to cook one of our orders (strawberry puppies) & when they finally brought it, they didn't have any more of the cream cheese sauce for it. Amazingly, even though reviews seem mediocre, this location is always busy. It was party of 2, the wait mid morning on Saturday was about 25 minutes. Luckily it took only 10 minutes. We order T-bone steak (medium) and eggs with hash brown, toast and side of 2 pancakes. Steak was a little more of medium rare in middle part & needed some seasoning...average. Eggs, pancakes, hash brown were good. Service was quick considering the crowd. Sergio the waiter was efficient and accomodating. It was nice to see the manager was on hands and looks like assistant manager also went around the refill coffee. Overall, average comfort food. read more

Went here for a business meeting, and they were very accomodating. They have a room that we used for our meeting, and it was great for privacy, and accessibility. I was able to get a Boca Burger without the bun, with lettuce and tomatos and some fruit. Great alternative to other types of lunches. read more
