I rarely leave reviews (good or bad), but I feel compelled to do one now. A HUGE shout out to Aaron and Daniel behind the counter. Every time I come in, they treat me like I'm Tom Cruise or some kind of VIP. Always smiling and friendly...the absolute BEST customer experience. They'll make the sandwich any way you want it. If you have a coupon, they don't act like the discount is coming out of their paycheck (dealt with that many times elsewhere). If you need help with the app, they jump right on it instead of the usual "I don't know how the app works". But it's not just me. I've been in line and seen them treat the customers ahead of me exactly the same way. Seriously, other companies should send their CSRs here to see how great customer service is done. And I say that as the manager of customer service for a mid-size company with 87 employees under me. Because of that, I pay attention to the customer service level everywhere, and it's mostly employees that give off the vibe that they would rather be ANYWHERE than work. Many Subways and other restaurants around me, but this is my permanent go-to spot. Five HUNDRED stars!!! read more

This is a 6 inch on wheat bread Italian hotshot. There is so delicious and packed with so much flavor. I love the sandwich so much. I also got the foot-long chocolate chip cookie. That is absolutely amazing and so crumbly. The only thing is when I try to make an order online I picked honey oat bread, but when I got there, they said they had to put it on wheat bread because they didn't have any of the honey oat. I'm not so sure someone is OK with that bread. Also gives me an option to get an orange Gatorade but when I got there, they said they didn't have orange Gatorade and they only have red. So I ordered this week again and met the owner Aaron. Very courteous and all the ingredients are fresh. It's a bit far from my home. This used to be my go-to Subway restaurant, but it has become as bad as the one that is closest to my office. I always order through DoorDash which is fantastic, but the restaurant forgot one of my items and when I called them, the woman who answered the phone said I needed to come pick it up. I had just paid $4.99 to have it delivered. Then to make matters worse, the woman at the restaurant hung up on me! I would highly NOT recommend this restaurant. read more

Came in last night to pick up a few sandwiches, one for dinner and two for the week and was greeted by the new owner Aaron. Aaron just bought this store after the previous owners stepped away after doing some damage to the stores reputation. Aaron was really pleasant to speak with, and the first thing you'll notice is he is "Customer Focused." We talked for a while as he prepared my sandwiches, and it seems we had a lot in common between sales and marketing philosophy - and and understanding of how to apply these dynamics for a great customer experience. Aaron allows the customer to keep coupons for use until they expire, something no other Subway does. He also brought back the "Customer Loyalty" card.... something I haven't seen in years since I worked in Westlake Village and a program I thought was long and gone forever. The area the store is located at is busy, small parking lot however.... It is worth it to go to this store as Aaron's commitment to the customer experience and the quality of the food he prepares is well worth it. As someone had written in June, it is such a great experience. From many of the Subway stores in the Valley I've been to, Aaron's store by far is best in quality and service. Others even when you have an issue disrespect you in such a manner that you never return to them. Aaron gets it, I know he will be extremely successful in his business endeavor and I am definitley coming back as the first impression was the absolute best! read more

Had a subway tuna sandwich yesterday... I had one today at this location... I am usually a boring eater and eat the same thing over and over although I'm not a subway fan due to the fact I know they have or had yoga mats as a ingredient to their bread this one location food is deserving a one star and I'm the lucky man to give it ...mainly for cheapness! This is probably the worst Subway in the whole valley. Their employee's customer service skills need a lot of work. If you want your ingredients just thrown onto the sandwich and already falling apart when you're ready to eat it then this is the place to go. If you're looking for a good quality Subway place I would highly recommend going to the one on De Soto and Roscoe. The employees there are great and put in effort on making you a great sub. We ordered 2 sandwiches for dinner on 8- 20-2020 for pick up . Tuna was fine . The other sandwich was to be forest ham on Jalapeño bread , pepper jack cheese , tomato , olive and mayo not toasted . Instead I got forest ham on Herb and cheese bread , no cheese onion , bell pepper, lettuce , olive , spinach , cucumber and mayo toasted . Sorry but not even close to what I ordered . So I call the the store . I get a woman saying they made it right . I said no this is the 3 rd time they messed up and have been very Rude to me . She said sorry she will do what she can to make me happy . She said she was going to talk to the person who made the sandwich and call me back in a few minutes . 30 minutes later still no phone call . it's 4 pm now wonder if she will ever call back . Worst subway. I ordered a Postmates and it was taking FOREVER I called subway and the girl says the order has been ready for 15 minutes and no one has picked it up. I'm not blaming subway for it taking so long but their service was TERRIBLE. Anyways, once the girl told me my sandwich had been ready for 15 minutes, I asked her if when the lady who was doing Postmates arrived can she make a NEW sandwich. The girl told me to hold for a second went and asked someone and then proceeded to tell me YES we will make a new sandwich and that the Postmates lady would have to wait which I told her was fine, I wanted it fresh. She then told me that it said the lady from Postmates would arrive to their store in 2 minutes which she did. She got to subway and quickly got to my house. How could she get out of there so fast if they re made my sandwich. When she delivered my food the sandwich was COLD and old. And on top of that I ordered jalapeños inside and they put bell peppers. What if I was allergic to bell peppers and bit into that sandwich not knowing??? So I called subway to complain and the guy there was very rude. I asked to speak with a manager and he told me there was not one so I asked for someone in charge and he said there was no one in charge. I told him the issue and he pretty much said I was lying that there was no jalapeños to the order and he was looking at the picture. I told him he was wrong and he still acted like I was lieing. I told him I wanted his name and the girls name he then gave me what seemed to be a fake name and wouldn't give me the girls name! He said she had nothing to do with it and he told her not to make the sandwich new because it was still warm. (Doesn't matter if it was warm I asked for it to be made again fresh). I then told him I wanted a manager to call me so I would leave my number and they could call me. He said I can't because they won't be there until Monday. I told him he can leave my number and a message telling them to call me when they came and he was still hesitant to. I'm sure he didn't even write my number down. I wish I could give this place 0 stars. The sandwiches are literally thrown together! The worst employee is Julian as he seriously just throws all the ingredients on. The sandwich literally always falls a part. My boyfriend and I go there every single day and everytime Julian is thereby we already know its going to be a sloppy thrown together sandwich. My advice is if Julian is serving you, is to just ask for a different worker. I don't know why this manger continues to let him work there, he brings the whole establishment down. I just started working nearby. There are two subways 1 mile apart on DeSoto. One at Nordhoff one at Lassen. The store at Lassen has more seating. And looks newer (nicer). I have enjoyed subway sandwiches for years. It is my go to meal if I forget a lunch which is probably 2 times a week. But I got a barbecue chicken sandwich on Thursday that was ruined by the blandest tomatoes I have ever tasted. These things were hard tasteless and did a better job as a wall separating flavor from my mouth. I know I should not critique a vegetable. But they need to find a new supplier. Other than that I love the value of a Subway sandwich. And in this case I just had to throw away the tomatoes. I don't think any one subway makes a better sandwich than another, but I just needed to vent about some bad tomatoes. Have a nice lunch. read more
