Bad choice. We overslept the day we had to board our cruise. We had driven past this location the day before and said what the heck. Oh my word, everything was off! I've never had such an awful waffle in my life the batter was dense and tough, The bacon, well wasn't really bacon, it was like paper. I can't believe what happened last night ! After coming from a Halloween party, all I wanted to do was eat french toast with my friends but I wasn't able to because of this Denny's not allowing me or my friend walking in with our Halloween costume. They said that there's people with kids in there and basically saying that our outfit is distracting since it showed my legs and that the kids will look at us a certain way . First of all It's the weekend where everyone is having a Halloween party and it was 3 a.m I didn't see any kids in there . Plus, Who the hell in there right mind will say something like that about little kids seeing us a certain way ?! What I think is that there employees will get distracted and see us in a dirty way not the kids !!! Tried this place twice now, and I will never return. Each time we have met here before work for an early morning breakfast my friends and I have been treated to fellow customers passed out in booths and on tables, dirty silverware and glasses, cold food, and dirty bathrooms. That being said, I will point out that the waitresses have been hard working and polite each time, but even that does not save this place for me or my friends. read more

We meandered in just after 10pm because Panera was closed. We were seated promptly as there were only 3 other tables with people. Our waitress came out to take our drink order and brought them out fairly quickly. It went downhill from there. My husband ordered the fish & chips and I ordered a Caesar salad an a mango smoothie. Fifteen or so minutes later, she came back to give me my salad and to tell us that they didn't have any fish & chips. Husband changed his order to a Caesar salad. Ten minutes later she brings the second salad. The salad was old and we only ate about half of it. I never got my smoothie and it took us another ten minutes just to get her attention to get our check so we could leave. Won't return. read more

I order UberEats from this location when I'm working overnight shifts every now and then and they never disappoint. Sure I might get a Cobb salad instead of a house salad but that's more protein (egg and bacon) for me. Great crew, especially on the weekend! They get everything right and in a nice big container. The server was rude and she was not even talking to us but was at our table when she was talking to another employee in a rude manor. Our food was not sizzling hot. This Denny's isn't quite as bad as all the other Denny's I've been to. The last time I went to one was back in 2004 and decided it was such bad service I would never go back again. It seems that in the Design District area there seems to be no iHop so I decided to suck it up and go to this Denny's. The food was ok at least, but the service was awesome. Not that you come to Denny's expecting a 5 star service and gourmet food, but I have to say it, he last couple of times I walked into a Denny's the breakfast was pretty good. Well not at this Denny's. I came in craving some breakfast on a Tuesady night and it was by far the most disgusting meal I have had in a while. I had a skillet that was just oversaturated with oil, vegetables that seem to be fresh out of the trash can and recycled, abd my side prder of hashbrowns was not only greasy but it tasted like what a hobo smells like...I dont know how else to describe it. My girlfriend ordered a cobb salad with some "prime rib" that was tougher and dryer than the cooks' shoe. The cook did a great job hiding the brown lettuce underneath a thin layer of decent looking one. If the food was bad, the service was worse. The only idea that I had was to fill my food with Tabasco to make it taste good. Quick fix....Not so quick. Now my food was not only disgusting but cold as well. Cold and oily is never a good combo. My girlfriend had a similar idea with the salad (its hard to mess up a salad, but they did it!). She ordered some dressing a few times in order to try to make the good parts of the salad somewhat decent. At least salads are eaten cold so that didnt deduct any more points. Me and my relatives planned to have our breakfast at Dennys in Biscayne 36th St just this morning. We have a small dog so we went infront just to ask and check if its OK to bring our dog because we don't know their policy. As soon as we stepped in the door, not saying a word yet, this old man server with a ponytail yelled at us and told us that the dog has to stay outside.he is telling us about the rules and policy without even letting us speak.I tried to tell him not to yell and just say it politely but he kept on yelling and humiliated us in front of other customers.we are civilized people.he can talk to us in a nice way. Ok wth?! We came here after a ten hour shift to have some food and go to sleep. We got there at 5.10 and actually got our food at 6.30?! The staff was super rude and didn't wanna take our order because we decided to sit on the other side since the main floor was full of drunk people. And knowing how food and liquor goes together we didn't wanna mess up our appetite. It was ridiculous. They had us sitting there for good 45 min before even taking our order. Had the worst restaurant experience in my entire life here today. I was served by Oratai and from the second we walked in she was not showing any hospitality to us. First of all she brought a wrong drink - can happen but no apology or anything, just an angry face. We asked for some waters when we got in because we were really thirsty. She only brought 2 waters and the other 2 came 20 minutes later. Also we did not receive any cutlery and when we asked for our cutlery after receiving our food she looked annoyed and did not apologize either. She referred to us as seats and not people because we were splitting the bill. When we left we left some cash at the table for tips together and when I paid my part by card I tipped only a small amount just to be nice. She then remarked "next time click on none" because she didn't like my tip even though I already tipped in cash whilst her service wasn't worth a penny. The overall service ruined our experience, hence this review. Went there for a late afternoon brunch. We were promptly seated as the restaurant was not busy. The waitress who seated us, took our drink order and said she would be back. A short while later, another waitress came around and asks what would we like to drink :). We were like the other waitress already took it. So, she left and then returned a short while back with the drinks. I guess there must have been confusion as to whose section that was. From that point forward though, it was the same waitress. The service was great and prompt. The food was the usual Denny's fare - Eggs, Hash browns, Toast, Pancakes, Coffee, Strawberry shakes. The shakes were nice n thick & tasty. If I could give this place zero stars I would. First, I walk in with my friends, after 30 min we had to grab three menus and seat ourselves to an open booth. Second, after receiving my order our waitress did not provide us any silverware and went ahead and took care of someone else's bill and was about to head over to the kitchen, where she disappeared to, but then realized she forgot to give us silverware and picked up three and sat it on the table. How can someone treat customers with such bad manners, I work at a restaurant as a server and I know that was the most horrible experience I've had to deal with. I usually enjoy Denny's for breakfast, but this was not the best experience I've had. When we walked in I thought it looked very clean, and then soon learned that it was recently renovated. When we were seated, we received our menus and gave our drink orders immediately, but it took a long time for the waitress to come back with our drinks. When my coffee did come, I reached for the splenda, but realized the sugar/sweetener packet container was empty. I had to get up and go to another table to get what I needed (also, there were not many people in the restaurant at the time). When our food did come, it was okay, however we had to wait about 10 minutes after our food was delivered to ask our waitress to bring us silverware as we had not received any, and she was arguing on the restaurant floor with another waitress, so we waited her to finish before asking for her assistance. Prior to leaving I used the restroom, and found it in disarray with toilet paper all over the floor in the stalls, and one of the soap dispensers empty of soap. I'm not sure if it was because we might have arrived after the breakfast rush (we visited at approximately 10:00 a.m. on a Tuesday morning), but it was not up to par. read more
