It is true that they make the best pan con bistec
Larry C.

It is the best pan con bistec in Miami, the place is a traditional bodega and the sandwich is delicious.

Chili is one of my most favorite casual restaurants chains and it's been a while since we have…read moreeaten there. This past weekend we decided to have dinner at their West Kendall location. It was packed but luckily we were seated within minutes of our arrival. For starters we ordered their chip and salsa which is simple but so comforting, the chips were very fresh and the salsa was very flavorful without being too spicy. The next appetizer we ordered is their new Nashville hot fried mozzarella squares which was mind blowing the flavors and the texture just gave the right vibe. For our main entree we ordered a burger with fries, steak fajitas, and boneless buffalo chicken wings. Everything was solid especially the tender boneless chicken wings. For dessert we ordered their chocolate lava cake which was good but I wish there was more chocolate lava inside. Chili did not disappoint and looking forward for our next trip.

Can't beat that for $16. And it was delicious. Carne asada meal was very small and missing tortilla. Burger was big and tasty. Iced tea was great. Chicken crispers (aka chicken tenders) were ok with a meh corn on the cob and fries. Server was great; energetic, friendly, on the ball! Missing kids corn and got charged for it but no big deal. It was busy. Conclusion: I would def recommend and be back.

Hey foodies! Last…read morestop on my Miami food run, and I think I saved one of the best for last! We stopped at First Watch, a breakfast, brunch, and lunch spot, and we went for breakfast. When I tell you I fell in love, I mean it! The atmosphere was so cozy, calm, airy, and incredibly clean. It's the perfect place to sit back, relax, and enjoy a great meal. Let's start with the drinks! Purple Haze - Made with lemon, cane sugar, butterfly pea flower tea, and a hint of lavender. It was refreshing, unique, and absolutely delicious. Watermelon Wake-Up - Watermelon, pineapple, lime, and mint. I grabbed this one to go, and it was the perfect refreshing drink. Oh... did I forget to mention they have boozy brunch drinks too? If you're in the mood to kick off your brunch with a cocktail, they've got you covered! Now for the food! My husband was all about the Bob's Red Mill Cheesy Grits with bacon. He couldn't stop talking about how delicious they were. I had the Banana Brittle French Toast, featuring thick-cut custard-dipped challah bread topped with almond butter crème anglaise, caramelized bananas, fresh blueberries, lemon whipped cream, honey roasted almonds, Maldon sea salt, mint, and a light dusting of cinnamon sugar. Every bite was sweet, flavorful, and so satisfying. And whatever you do, don't leave without ordering the Biscuit with Butter, Honey, and Preserves. Chef's kiss! It was warm, fluffy, buttery, and absolutely amazing. The best surprise? I found out they're opening a First Watch near me in Bethlehem, PA, so you already know I'll be there ASAP! Food: 10/10 Drinks: 10/10 Atmosphere: 10/10 If you're looking for a breakfast or brunch spot with amazing food, refreshing drinks, and even a few boozy options, First Watch is definitely worth checking out!

The food was meh in my opinion. There was nothing visually alluring about my avo toast and it tasted okay. The juices were delicious however

The only reason it wasn't 5 stars is because they told my sister that we wouldn't need a…read morereservation as long as we called an hour beforehand, and that was NOT the case. We ended up waiting for almost 2 hours, which was kind of ridiculous. That aside - once we got in, it was wonderful. Lolita was our server and she was a gem. Truly. I would come back just for her. The food is very much middle-class fancy vibes and as long as you're ok with that, you'll have a fantastic time. The margarita was great. The onion was the perfect amount of greasy. The shrimp was delish. The steak was pretty good. The bread - yum. Long story short, I'll be back for sure.

Let's talk about it. My son's birthday was coming up, and he…read morewanted to have dinner at either Texas Roadhouse or LongHorn with the family. We got to LongHorn, and they had a two-hour wait, so we decided to take a trip to Texas Roadhouse instead. A couple of us hadn't been there before. The table was ready fairly quickly, which we thought was amazing, but that's pretty much where it ended. We were greeted by a server named Javi, or maybe even Javier. The guy was wearing a face mask in 2026, which was very weird. As soon as he opened his mouth, he really started trying to upsell us on every single thing, which was uncomfortable. There were no prices on the drinks, so we asked for the drink prices, and all the prices he told us were wrong. Everything was a lot higher than what he suggested it was. He was even able to sneak in an upsell for smothered mushrooms on my 16-year-old daughter and my 60-year-old dad's steak. It really felt like he was picking on the people he knew he could just add things onto and we wouldn't notice until the bill arrived, which was very tacky. The service itself was extremely slow. We had to wait 20 minutes to put in our order and at least 10 minutes to request refills or additional beverages. The food was subpar at best. The ribs were dry and the steak was extremely flimsy - yet tender. The baked potato was the best thing that we ate the entire night. All the kids left the majority of their food. My parents were not impressed, and the ambience itself was just low class. We won't be coming here again. There's nothing that would attract us to returning.
