I noticed the bread was tiny compared to a picture I saw prior on yelp which means they aren't consistent with their portions. Breakfast was good, but pretty simple and I didn't end up finishing it. We also tried one of the sandwiches which comes with chips but again nothing out of this world. The empanadas were good but a bit dry for my taste.. I would want some sauce or something on the side with it. They only have hot sauce. The prices are higher than I expected too. That being said..I really liked the atmosphere and their coffee and pastry selection was amazing.. the croissant with Dulce de leche in the middle are worth coming here for. Now while I probably won't come here for the food, I'll definitely be back for the coffee!

Also sip into a refreshing mint Frappuccino to truly enjoy the swirling coffee flavors of the spot! The mint contrasts the sweetness of the coffee. Everything was fresh, quick, and hit the spot. Clean spot, nice vibe, and genuinely awesome service. Definitely coming back!

Unfortunately, this was a very disappointing experience from start to finish…read more We were a larger party and waited about 40 minutes for a table. When we were finally seated, they placed us in a booth with an additional chair at the end. We had already seen several other booths set up the exact same way, so there didn't appear to be anything unusual about the arrangement. Before being seated, I had even mentioned to the hostess that there was an open section toward the back that could accommodate us more comfortably. Instead, that area was given to another party that had not been waiting, while we were placed at the booth. After our children were already settled and we had gotten situated, we were then told that our seating arrangement was apparently a problem and they wanted us to move. What made the situation especially uncomfortable was that the same setup seemed perfectly acceptable at other tables. As a bigger person, the whole interaction honestly left me wondering whether my size was part of the reason our table suddenly became an issue. The service afterward only made things worse. We felt like we were being treated as an inconvenience or being penalized for something, rather than welcomed as paying customers. I came in simply wanting to enjoy a nice breakfast with my family and left frustrated and upset. There were multiple opportunities for the staff to handle this situation better, especially considering they knew the size of our party before seating us. Unfortunately, between the 40-minute wait, the seating situation, the way it was handled, and the poor service afterward, we will not be returning.

That all changed about 5 years ago in Miami when I discovered Crema Gourmet Espresso Bar. Their mocha was on another level. Finally found a better mocha A few weeks later i found they were opening a location close to home in Dania Beach well, i moved before that location ever opened. so it had been years, and here i am, not the deep, dark chocolate color I remember so i looked it up: Crema Gourmet Espresso Bar historically featured a standalone Mocha and Iced Mocha (along with a White Chocolate Mocha) on their menu. On their official menu and across several Miami-area locations, the standard mocha has been removed as a distinct menu item. As a result, ordering a mocha today is typically made on the fly by adding chocolate syrup to a standard latte, which often produces a lighter, differently balanced drink than the rich, dark recipe they originally served.

However, it does get packed. I went on a Saturday afternoon (around 12), and it was hard to find a table. I ended up sitting right near the bathrooms. Our favorite time to visit is Sunday brunch, especially since they have a special menu. We recently came for Father's Day, and even though Julio was celebrating as a father himself, he was working incredibly hard to make sure every guest had a great experience. You can really see how much heart and dedication he pours into his business. As expected on Father's Day, there was a bit of a wait, especially since we were a larger party, but none of us minded. To thank us for our patience, Julio generously brought out croquetas for the table on the house, which was such a thoughtful gesture. I can't recommend Trigo Café enough. The food is consistently excellent, the service is warm and welcoming, and the atmosphere feels like home. While brunch is our favorite, their lunch and dinner are just as great, and the new tapas and wine area they recently added is a fantastic addition. If you haven't been, you're missing out!
