One of my favorite places to eat when I visit Miami. It provides alternatives to the basic burger. I like that I can have a burger without the bun, or a chicken sandwich without the bun. The rest of their burger meat is delicious. They also offer several types of sauces to add some extra flavor. The person who takes our order is always pleasant. Wow to see numerous other ways to eat burgers was amazing. They come in a bowl, in a wrap of lettuce or potato bun or pretzel bun to choose from. They're located in a plaza surrounding doctor offices so if you're not searching for food you would possibly pass right on by it and miss out. I love to watch my food as it's cooking especially with a great attitude while it's being cooked. It's Angus grade A meat and it was really delicious and juicy. My niece had the chicken tenders and she said that she loved them. You do have to pay an additional $1.00 for the ranch dressing but really you didn't need any dipping sauce because of the batter which was very crunchy. This is my second time having burbowl and I didn't enjoy the first time very much so I didn't go back. But I went back yesterday because I was in the area and I thought I'd give it another shot and I loved it. I got a burger and fries to go. It was a 15 minute wait but the lady informed us before proceeding with the order in the chance that the wait was too long for our liking, which I appreciated. I've been a loyal customer at this location for over 4 years. I recently placed an order online and went to pick it up. Before leaving, I politely asked the staff if utensils were included since I had selected that option during checkout. Without checking, the lady assured me they were. I even purchased an extra drink to leave a tip. When I got back to my office and opened the bag -- no utensils. I called the restaurant to give them a friendly heads-up, but they let the phone ring, picked up, and immediately hung up. I tried calling again, but they didn't answer at all. I use to order from this place at least once a week when living in brickell. I heard they just opened this one up in west miami and wanted to see if it still lived up to how awesome it use to be years ago. I can confirm, if you want a delicious burger, this is the place to come to ! I hope they open up more ! I can't even begin to describe to you just how good their burgers actually taste. Especially in this area, there's absolutely nobody beating them. I do have to mention that you'll find yourself paying about $12-$15 per person, but when it tastes that good, who cares honestly. I got the crispy fries which are seasoned fries with some waffle ones included too. Did I mention they have a working hand sanitizer booth as you walk in and out of the restaurant. I was lucky to be invited to their grand opening. I've actually heard many good things about Burbowl even before this location opened so it's been on my radar. We started with the sides including the fries, onion rings, fried yuquita, and some crispy wings. Everything was delicious and super crispy plus they were surprisingly not too greasy. Also, it didn't have that burnt oil taste so they must use high-quality oil. For the main entrees, I got the Juicy Doggy with melted cheddar and a Miami Bowl with Black Angus Meat. My friend ordered the Hustler Burger with double 4 oz. Black Angus on a pretzel bun. We basically just shared everything and again, no complaints here. The burger was juicy and flavorful. The bowl was filling and the sauce was on point. The hotdog had a nice snap and was super tasty. It wasn't on the small size either. The real main attraction here is the affordability and freshness. Most burgers and bowls are less than $10 and the sides are less than $5. And don't forget to add some dessert. I got the Oreo Cookie shake but I couldn't finish it because I was painfully full..lol :) Burbowl is a great addition to the FIU area and I wish they would open one closer to my job in Coral Gables. BurBowl is the perfect spot to grab a hassle-free yet delicious meal! It's conveniently located across from the FIU main entrance and has loads of parking. I went to BurBowl during their grand opening and got their classic Champ Burger with a side of sweet potato fries. I enjoyed the Champ burger. I love how it's placed between potato bread buns. I haven't seen anything like it in Miami. The burger meat was really tender and juicy! The mushrooms in the burger were caramelized perfectly and had that delicious grilled char. The reason I am removing one star is because the sweet potato fries unfortunately were over cooked. Overall, I am excited to see a concept like BurBowl in the FIU area supporting the Panther community. I love how inside the restaurant there's a FIU mural. The veggie burger Bowl was definitely really good, I didn't expect it to be that good. Boyfriend ordered the single Angus burger with the loaded fries. He really loved the burger, but didn't really like the loaded fries too much. The loaded fries came with a little bit too much melted cheese, which kind of made the fries soggy. Was chatting with my coworker about Burbowl and the concept of this restaurant (both burgers and bowls... seems a bit odd) and finally broke down and tried it. I placed a pick-up order through Yelp/Grubhub and the process was easy and my food was ready when promised. I got an order of chicken wings with no sauce and really liked these. They are breaded and although I usually order all flats when it comes to wings, the drums were not terrible. The burger was okay. The only thing that really set it apart was the cilantro and chipotle sauces. Otherwise it was a pretty ordinary burger. I prefer Pincho factory or even Five Guys. There was a menu stapled to the bag the food came in and I noticed that the bowls actually look pretty good. If I were to order from here again it would be to try one of those. read more

The selection of sodas are pretty standard outside of one stubborn soda option that is for people that like real sugar in their soft drinks.
