Ill be honest. I showed up around 7 am. There were 8 people there and by midway, just two including me. Service was solid, not elite. The 55 plus omelet, i went egg whites. It comes with hash browns and I selected white toast. I did request butter. Never made an appearance until the end. I asked for salsa initially she forgot. I asked again she brought it out. Did I have a happy server? Someone that makes you feel more than just a human? No. Clearly the crowd size caused this change. She did deliver my coke. But didn't bring nor ask if I wanted a straw. My wife and I ran out of sleep. Our first choice was Waffle House on Country Club but they were packed and on a wait. We made the drive to Denny's because we have had positive experiences in the past. There was 1 server and 1 cook in the building handling about 30 guests. They were working their butts off to take care of everyone. The server told another table that they were only expecting 2 people and a slow shift. He told me later the shift supervisor left about 12:45. I give the server and cook 10 stars each. I give the management at all levels -10 stars each. Your " rules" for hourly labor are asinine. You don't take into account that Halloween was on Thursday last year and probably was slower. It was Friday this year and the drunks were out in force. You as managers, not leaders, failed your team and your customers. There is a difference in being a manager and a leader. A manager only manages to make it through the shift, a leader inspires excellence in others and demands it from themselves. Shame on you for failing your team. read more

So, let me start by saying I've been taking my family here for years. I came in last night with my lady for a romantic dinner, when we were seated & waiting we were approached by the waitress. The waitress did not give good feelings or vibes. But we figured she might be having a rough day, and tried to pay little attention to her attitude. So we place our orders, very simple i only wanted added jalapenos & "the burger to be burnt" was my exact words. She we wait, and i end up getting my food a whole 10 minutes after my lady. Okay whatever, even though they're not busy, maybe the cook is having a rough day. So i watch the waitress come forth with the burger, right when its put on the table i notice, it's barely even COOKED let alone, "burnt". So i politely say "hey sorry i asked for the meat to be *burnt* and this is hardly even cooked." I point towards the undisturbed plate, and say sorry another time. Then it happened, i watch this woman walk over to the cook in the kitchen & she starts loudly bad talking ME. And then the cook JOINS in. "We never do burnt, OMG selfish." The waitress "Yeah i brought it over to him and it wasn't good enough, some people it's never good enough." There was much more as it was about 5 minutes of conversation, at this point I am literally SEETHING with unbridled rage. So after the time had passed she walks my plate back to me & i say "So um when i placed my order originally i asked for BURNT. It wasn't a sudden development, it was the order i tasked YOU with. Also I heard EVERYTHING yall said over there. I am hurt that was extremely unprofessional." My girlfriend chimes in "keep kitchen talk as kitchen talk, customers shouldn't be able to hear you." I stopped in today for my free birthday slam breakfast like I have done in the past. Today they told me they no longer do that, it changed in January. They have a free value meal on your birthday. The catch is, you need to sign up online for it. The waitress was gracious enough to give it to me anyway. The meal was good as always. I went to use the restroom and there was locking key pad on the door. I mentioned to the hostess that I had never seen a Denny's that you need an access code to use the bathroom. But this one on Power Rd...they are super busy, but watching everyone work so well together; even while training new employees; it made me happy this is the one I stopped at. They are all so friendly & courteous...all while keeping the orders going as smoothly as possible and seeming to keep other patrons happy & satisfied. The cooks/chefs did an amazing job also. Vegan reviewer here! I stopped in for their beyond meat burger promotion to test out Denny's rendition on it. Denny's has a fairly good amount of vegan options compared to other chain breakfast spots but they just recently introduced these vegan burgers to Denny's locations across the US and I admit it's a pretty good burger! To make it vegan order it with no cheese and all American sauce. I ordered it with a side of their traditional fries. The burger took longer than anticipated but it was a packed house. When I got it was a pretty good size however the patty was smaller and thicker than normal. The fries portion was also smaller than I expected which is the reason I'm giving it 4 stars. I believe the cost for a burger and side is about $10. The service was great. Our server was attentive the entire time. read more

We decided to have Denny's today for brunch. When we arrived we were immediately seated. We started off with waters/lemon and hot tea. I then ordered the T-Bone steak and eggs with hash browns. My wife ordered a skillet breakfast. We both enjoyed are meals. My steak was medium rare the way that I ordered it. It was just a very thin piece of meat and it was very tough on one side more than the usual tough side that one gets when eating a T-Bone steak, but the flavor was great and I ate it all. I also ordered a side of pancakes and they were so good! The english muffins were also a delight. So there! I also ordered a double cheeseburger to go.
