I had the Lumberjack Slam with pancakes, scrambled eggs, hash browns, ham, sausage, bacon and sourdough toast. Food was excellent and Delia was a great waitress. My wife felt like a visit to Dennys so we came here. We were greeted right away by our waitress Delia and seated at a table. My wife ordered an iced tea and Mimosa, and I got coffee. I don't have high expectations with Denny's but it's the comfort food aspect that appeals to me we I'm craving breakfast. My server was a nice guy. Truly, he was, and we tipped because my husband and I understand the painful reality of the service industry. Unfortunately, even at 8 am, his uniform wasn't clean, which indicates he hadn't left yet or somehow fell victim to whatever stained his apron. My glass of water had white residue inside. Not water spots but actual physical... white things you could scrape off with your fingernail. The server and manager both apologized and told me it was the water (tbf, Maricopa really does have hard water. You have to buy the softening salt every two weeks in this town), but I'd already lost my appetite by that point. My burger came out cold, and my husband's over easy eggs came out over medium. Great service. Alyssa is sweet and top notch! Always listens, already knows what we like and we never have to ask twice for anything.

I mean, it's ok. The servers are really nice given what they have to work with. The food is ok but it really depends on what time you go and what's available. We have visited this location early morning to late evening and it is, again, going to vary on what your experience is. Maybe we need another one on the other side of town to compare. It's in a busy entrance to town so I don't know if the ambiance is the best. Probably better early morning. read more

Idk why Denny's gets a bad rap. It's diner food, if you're expecting steakhouse quality, go to a steakhouse. We've been here several times and are always treated very nicely and promptly. We usually go in the evenings. The servers and hostess are all very nice. My go to slam burger is usually spot on, with a side of fries...give them a try. read more

We woke up early so decided to go grab some breakfast. Hadn't been to Denny's in about a year or more because the service had gotten so bad. Not many people there so service was pretty fast. I had the stuffed French toast with sweet cream. I had it by itself, you can also get it as a slam with eggs and bacon. Husband got the original grand slam with eggs, bacon, hash browns and pancakes. Everything was good. They now have a robot that helps take food out to the customers. Sometimes it gets confused on where to go if people are sitting in the middle chairs. read more

Denny's is now advertising itself as A Nathan's Famous Hot Dogs here in the city of Maricopa. Wow we tried it and I've never before been so disappointed in a Denny's. It seems that they are on Doordash as "Nathan's famous hot dogs" WOW stay away from this if you like hot dogs in general. I ordered 2 chili dogs, stale buns, just barley warm dogs and the chili was cool and covered everything so they could not be picked up, the cheese fries were soggy and bloated. My wife ordered the cheese stake, she couldn't eat it, the beef wasn't sliced it was 2" chunks like left over pot roast with gravy all over it. The beef was of such a low quality she couldn't chew it. The amount of gristle was so bad the total sandwich was tossed and again her soggie cold bloated fries were trashed. what a waist of $48.00 and I even tipped the driver extra when everything was tipped upside down. (Food poisoning) I went to Denny's in Maricopa last night Thursday June 19th and ordered a pot roast melt. Exactly 2 hours after I left I became super ill. Started with sweating then extreme nausea with stomach pain that turned into explosive diarrhea. I did vomit several times. It was coming out both ends for several hours. I did bring half the sandwich home with me and will hopefully be bringing that into the health department today ( Friday June 20th ) for some testing of meat. I'm sure it will be determined the meat is bad. I will also be contacting someone at Denny's so they can remove that meat so no one else gets sick. read more

If I could give less stars, I would. Sunday 9th of July 12:30pm We were looking for a nice place to have breakfast, and the suggestion was the consistency of Dennys! Well, we found out that not to be true! We waited for a long time for a table, only to see there were a lot of open tables. We were told that they weren't seating anyone because the kitchen was trying to catch up, we were told by staff that the lead cook called in sick and turn the entire Restaurant into a tizzy. The cook must need a raise or training? We were warned by our server, getting our food was gonna take some time, aka long wait! When we finally got our food, pancakes were ice cold, eggs were not cooked to the style. we ask, the bacon was so greasy, was not edible. Our server was nice enough to bring me a warm bun. For our hamburger, Cold pancakes were sent back twice.... This was a total train wreck. Too many other choices in Maricopa to ever come back here. And lastly, I ordered a bacon cheeseburger, the greasy bacon had an up charge, we were asked if we want cheese and onions on our hashbrowns, she forgot to tell us if it's an up charge. Bad food, mediocre service at best, don't think I'll be coming back anytime soon. We're are the standards that Denny's always talks about, there's certainly not at this one. read more

Denny's breakfast is usually halfway decent. But not this morning. I ordered two eggs over medium with hashbrowns, sausage, and wheat toast. What I got was two runny eggs, waxy nasty hashbrowns, undercooked pork sausage, and warm wheat bread. I told the waitress about the hashbrowns and suggested the chef taste them before serving them again and I asked for some new toast. I didn't bother mentioning the state of the eggs or the sausage because they were edible. She asked me if I wanted the toast extra toasted. I said extra toasted would be better than not toasted. I waited for quite a while. The toast never showed up. Come on guys! Food is expensive. You can at least try to get a few of the items correct on the plate. $20 for a bite of undercooked sausage, 1/2 slice of warm bread and a cup of coffee. Upon greeting by the hostess I was very hopeful. She was very pleasant and welcoming. I was seated quickly. And I waited. I waited some more. I played 2 games of hard level sudoku (I won both). Still no server. I gooseneck around. Finally connect eyes with a server. She takes my drink order and rushes for the main. I wanted a suggestion. She wasn't happy! I ordered the parm chicken dinner. Wait. Wait. Read CNN headlines. Read NYT headlines. Return to sudoku. Win twice again. The hostess comes around with my meal! I never see the server again. She honestly vanished. The meal has potential. Main issue is the amount of salt in the brine for the chicken. It was honestly too salty to eat the full meal. Wild rice was dished and left under the heat for too long. The top layer of rice formed a shell. If executed to plan I think it could be a really good meal. Next time I'm ghost hunting I'll return to Denny's! read more

Who doesn't know Denny's? Although a new location and working out the kinks, the folks here are super friendly and trying hard to please. When we arrived, it was wall to wall people trying out the recently opened Denny's. A madhouse if you will. I could tell our server Sabian was a seasoned professional. Unfazed and smoothly executed orders for his section, I was very happy he was our server. For me, my coffee mug never going empty is important and he delivered thoroughly. Thanks Sabian!
