It's a Denny's. Nothing particularly noteworthy about this one that I noticed. Went it with a large group (20ish people?) at 1 or 2am.

I always have enjoyed the staff at this location, as busy any morning/afternoon as it's rival IHOP. But the benefit here is is open 24/7 is almost the staple for after party food in Laurel. Wait time are to be expected, but service is much MUCH faster later into the evening. Nice holiday specials on seasonal deserts and menu items and always priced fairly. read more

I really like this Denny's. If you like diner-style food, this is the place. 55+ club sandwich was very good. Mr guest had 55+ talapia. She thought it was very good. Service is superb. All the wait staff is very attentive. Drink refills are promptly provided. Wait staff is always concerned about your satisfaction. For the most part, a Denny's is a Denny's, no matter where you are. You know what to expect, from the outdated decor to the variety of breakfast "slams" on the menu (what does that even mean?!). This Denny's is a little special because it has more of a "local family restaurant" feel than most chains do. The servers are extra-friendly and helpful, and they know all the regulars and greet them by name. (I'm both pleased and sad to say that we're not regulars. Yet.) As one of the only 24-hour restaurants around Laurel, this place also provides a comfortable and hospitable nightspot for the folks who are maintaining sobriety. I'm always happy to see the positive community that has formed, with patrons and servers supporting each other. We've always gotten great service at this location, with the food arriving fast, fresh, and just as we ordered. The servers check on us regularly and anticipate our needs - drink refills, extra napkins, the check, etc. It's a solid option when it's late at night or you just need some comforting diner food. read more

This is a good place to stop in for a quick meal. The restaurant is pretty large; we didn't have to wait for a table even on a busy Saturday morning. There's also plenty of parking. The prices are good; the food might not be the best ever but it does the job. If I'm in the area and hungry, I'll be back. read more

This was a horrible experience. First, the waitress messed up our order. Not difficult to remember since we ordered the waffle slam. when the waffles came ut they were hard and almost inedible. Second, my daughter ordered a hamburger and when it was delivered to our table she picked it up and there was mold on the bottom of the bread. The waitress then took it in the back and after a while brought back another burger. She told us that the green mold on the bun was not mold but something off the grill. NOT! Seemed a little chaotic. Employees smoking in front right by main entrance. Could not remotely get my order correct. How hard could it be? Granted I have not had this type of job but if you cannot do it correctly find another. The people cooking the food were arguing with the waitress about how the food was cook. How difficult is it to make fries crispy. I have to say that the MOD did come over to discuss the situation and make me crispy fries. read more

It was terrible! After waiting to be seated we placed our order and it took them about 45 mins for our food to come out. The waitress was very pleasant and told us they were short staff. Probably the worst Denny's I've ever been to. It took entirely too long to get my breakfast, and the presentation/quality of the food was horrendous. My silverware came wrapped in a napkin that had what appeared to be a blood stain on it. read more

Horrible service, went for breakfast , half of our food came out wrong, we were missing so much what we ordered, waitress never came to check on us, never got refills on our drinks when i asked twice. My eggs were disgusting, waitress takes off $10 from our bill then tells us she was overwhelmed. We saw her with only 4 tables! Isnt this your job? At least to come check on us? Denny's has renovated (oct 2016) , nice bathrooms ! Decent food new pancake formula is delicious ! Just request them light because they keep burning them for some reason , if you order them regular ! read more

Diner beware. Went here about 4:00 am on Monday (MLK Day). Walked in all the tables to the left needed to be cleaned. There were empty plates with residual food. I asked the hostess if they were short staffed and she replied all day. The server was the worst. She brought me a beef burger when I asked for the beyond meat burger. She tries to convince me that the beef was veggie even with the beef fat hanging off. The hostess actually took the burger back and brought me the correct thing. Not to mention I was given cheesy tots that had bacon. My friend's French fries came out on my beyond meat burger plate and the waitress saw no problem. Long story short because there so much more to that night. I threw up and my friend got sick that night as well. Btw the group doing the go-go rehearsal in the corner and the staff didn't seem to mind it. Paid for the worse service in life. Do not go here ever. read more

I love denny's!! especially if I'm in the mood for a good dinner at a great price.. The $4 $6 &8 menu is great especially the Spicy Cowboy Chopped Steak!! plenty of flavor, and the Service is Superb!! never have any complaints, and if your'e looking for a little something sweet, try the pancake puppies!! they are sure to satisfy that sweet tooth at a great price!!! read more

Last night Denny's was a breath of fresh air. After experiencing horrible service at Tastees Diner we decided to venture over to Denny's instead. We were greeted with smiles and promptly seated. Our server was kind and attentive and the food was absolutely delicious. I had the turkey bacon, eggs, and French toast for about $10. I was full and impressed with the customer service! If I could give this 0 stars, I would! My service was excellent, but when it was time to go it got bad. I'm assuming this lady was a manager?? Didn't catch her name but her attitude was terrible! Before I gave her my check so she could scan it she already had a irritable look on her face. Her greeting was very rude, and that just made my whole visit to this Denny's absolutely terrible, I will never come back!!!!! The "manager" was a Caucasian lady, heavy set, I believe she's the only female manager there, all the other managers are great and very friendly! I was there last night and I left my phone on the table. I went to my car came right back in and my phone was gone. I asked the manager about my phone (Didn't get his name appears to be middle eastern) There was no one sitting in my section (2:00 in the am) when I asked he said he cleaned my table off and didn't see no phone. When my friend called it it went straight to voicemail. I asked him to look at the camera and he claims he did, but when the police got there he told them he couldn't pull the cameras up. That was so tacky and unethical to steal someone's phone u can't do nothing with. I will never give this place another penny. Low down poor excuse!!! read more

This Denny's was ridiculous. When my family and I walked in the two servers were complaining about who would take our order because neither of them wanted to. When she went to seat us she put us at two different tables and then looked confused and arranged us to one table. She then said she wasn't going to be our sever but would start us off with drinks. I ordered lemonade and the rest of my family ordered raspberry tea. She then came back and said that there was only enough tea to fill one cup and I couldn't get my lemonade because the machine was broken. We then ordered different drinks. As she left to get our drinks another girl seated a table in front of us and asked them what they would like to drink. They asked for raspberry tea, like my family did, and she said okay and left. She then came back with raspberry tea for them. So was the machine actually broken?? We let it go and ordered, from the girl who said she wouldn't be our server. My sister ordered a quesadilla with ONLY chicken and cheese. The server even verified with her that she only wanted the chicken and cheese. The rest of my family ordered and she took our menus and left. She brought my sister's food first and when my sister went to eat it not only was there sausage, but tomatoes and onions with her chicken and cheese. The other server (not ours) got her the correct quesadilla. We all got our meals and they were quite delicious. Overall, the food was very good but the service was horrible. We won't be back and don't recommend going. read more

Ah, Denny's! Classic hangover/After Church cheap eats... I was generally enjoying this location after a few sporadic visits on weekday nights when my toddler requested it because of pancakes and a menu to color...Until our last encounter on Monday night with the entire family looking to eat a meal that we wouldn't have to cook ourselves after a day of manual labor. Food was great! Service excellent! Mr. Cockroach coming out on our table to say hello at the end of our meal - not so nice. Actually disgusting. The fine young gentleman that caught my slight outburst came over and saw it, apologized and squished it in a napkin.. They thought the problem was 'taken care of' but with the warm weather it's an 'uphill battle' (verbatim). Very concerning - how many times does this happen in a day!? Our meal was comped but we left feeling itchy and queasy (we tipped! Again, our poor waitress was just as disturbed as us..) I am not unreasonable - wherever food is, bugs will follow! I am quite aware...But when they are out on the dining room tables greeting patrons, I cannot help but imagine them running rampant in other parts of the restaurant where there is less commotion. Sorry Denny's, I don't think I will be back. Perhaps a better preventative pest care company can come in and help your uphill battle! read more

Worst experience ever. Rude staff and unorganized. Last experience we waited directly in front of host for 5-10 min for him to take our name. I normally call in a grand slam breakfast before I go to work and get French Toast. Today the server states it doesn't come with the grand slam. She gets the manager states the same thing, I explained you actually packed my order several times. She then tries to offer me the French Toast grand slam which doesn't come with none of the items like the grand slam everything else cost .99 extra. Denny's use to be my favorite breakfast spot. I was upset didn't order anything. I don't even know if I will patronize this Denny's anymore. read more

We had 5 guests and the food was brought out 1 by 1. My wife is allergic to mushrooms, we told the waitress this and we still got mushrooms in her skillet. The restaurant is clean overall and the food tasted as expected. It was crouded on a Saturday afternoon and we waited about 25 minutes. read more
