It was bland and was not really cheese. The hash browns were ok but nit that great. The place was not really busy as school was out. There was a couple next to us and their server came back a few times with the wrong food and the server apologized a few times. Our server didn't make mistakes but really never came back to check on us. Overall, I was disappointed in my with my breakfast. I wish I would have just said something but I was too hungry to ask for them to make it. I've had better experiences in the past but not this day.

I had the Beer-Battered Shrimp Platter with Green Beans & Potato. I finished with the famous carrot cake! Hats off to the Managing Partner, Thomas for overseeing such a fine establishment! Floors everywhere were extremely dirty, bathrooms dirty, and when I peaked inside the kitchen (while walking by) so filthy (to be honest, we considered leaving before even ordering anything!). HOSTESS & SERVER: The hostesses were fine, not rude but not friendly either. Our server (male with dark hair) was very nice, he at times gave off a vibe of being new. The service is still very SLOW, so plan to be sitting awhile waiting to order, get food, etc. FOOD: This is what we ordered.... Cheddars Trio Sampler -- 3 Choices were: Chicken Tenders, Wisconsin Cheese Bites, and Queso Fries. Taste: Chicken tenders were good, cheese bites were very good (greasy though), queso fries were alright. Size: average. Price: $12.49 Cheddars Trio Sampler -- 3 Choices were: Chicken Tenders, Chips & Queso w/meat, and Queso Fries. Taste: Chicken tenders were good, chips were good, queso with meat was fine, queso fries were alright. Size: average. Price: $12.49 Monte Cristo -- Taste: it was alright but found it was too sweet and got sickening to eat after the first piece. Size: average. Price: $11.99 Baby Back Ribs -- Taste: very dry. Overall flavor was alright but we had a hard time getting past how dry and tough they were. Greens beans were not very good. Mashed potatoes were good. Size: average. Price: $16.49 OVERALL THOUGHTS: Server was very kind but service in general is slow. Cleanliness has definitely been lacking and I honestly would hate to see what happens in the kitchen!! WOULD I RETURN? Probably not, mostly due to the state of cleanliness the whole establishment was in.

This restaurant is more of a novelty than anything…read more First, they have great service (waiter). But expect to wait an hour for your food (it shouldn't actually take that long, but psychologically you will think the food tastes better if you are more hungry in the morning). I tried three dishes, all were so-so. The french toast is overly-sweet and nothing really special about it other than novelty flavors. The omelets tastes like any other omelet. Biscuits and gravy are bland. The only thing that was really great were the potatoes... It's an interesting place, worth trying once, but that's about it.

I also liked the mismatched mugs. They seemed seriously understaffed, and service was very slow. We ordered drinks, and waited long enough for someone to come back to take our food order that we were starting to wonder if they thought we were only getting drinks. There was another long wait for our food. When it arrived, it arrived in batches. One person ordered three tacos, but the order was entered wrong, so they only got one to start, and they had to wait quite a while for the other two. The food was good overall, but the portions were quite small. I did like the Bourbon Street French toast, particularly the caramel sauce. It could have used more bananas though. The fried pickles were good, as were the spicy mozzarella sticks. The steak omelet's sauce was odd. The nachos were good. The coffee and lattes were good. The regular orange juice had less juice than one poured for our toddler. Overall it was alright, but I don't know that I'd go back.

The turkey, the veggies, and especially the red wine vinegar + olive oil combo with the mayo. The flavor was balanced and not dry at all, which is usually where turkey subs fall short. Both women working were efficient, focused, and kept things moving without feeling rushed. Bottom line: fresh ingredients, great flavor, and solid service. I'll definitely be back and would recommend if you're in the mood for a really good sub.

However, our most recent visit had been disappointing on many levels, particularly affecting the quality of the food and the patron's enjoyment and experience. The main issue is with the recent downgrade of the Olga wrap quality, namely that the thickness and taste had changed to now resemble a dried-out, tortilla-thin tasteless shell instead of the traditional, exceptionally-tasteful and most delicious thick-breaded wrap that we had each expected during our regular visits. As a result of this most recent visit, our family will now be taking an extended break from this hometown chain restaurant, allowing them ample time to determine whether the owner's value their customers satisfaction or the almighty buck which seems to be their most recent direction????

The service provided at Capital Prime makes the evening and experience worth it!…read more The restaurant is intimate and nicely decorated. There is plenty of parking as it is located in a large plaza surrounded by shopping and hotels. The food was beautifully plated and the scallops Rockefeller were the best items of the night! We literally could have made an evening of the scallops, the bread, and the amazing martinis! The sea bass and morels do deserve an honorable mention as they were extremely tasty and well prepared. The rest of our food was ok and overrated, thereby overpriced. The service would bring us back but at the prices perhaps we will stick to cocktails and appetizers.

Appetizer: Lobster Arancini Balls 3.8/5 - These were served…read morewith an aoli on the bottom which went well with the crispy arancini. There was one small piece of lobster in this bite, so not the most generous portion for the price. Main: 6 Oz Filet Mignon 3/5 - The meat was cooked well (to medium rare) and had a great crust on the exterior. This carried the dish (as it should). The accompanying sides, mashed potatoes and seasonal veggies, would be best left out. The broccolini and green beans were salty and overcooked, extremely soft and cooked well past it's ideal texture. The mashed potatoes were ok, but are just there as a filler. Side: Michigan Kale Salad 2/5 - The ingredient list sounded superb, but the execution was not there. The kale pieces were LARGE and were hard to eat in bites. It desperately needed another chop (or few) and a deep tissue massage. The salad was also HEAVY on the red onion - if that's your thing, then this is a great salad for you. The red onion was added with a heavy hand and needed to be soaked in water prior to serving to get rid of the pungent bite. Pass. The free bread rolls were ok as well, but I would rather have a Texas Road House roll.
