We come here to Lakeside dentist because the food is so good. The service is good too today. It was rainy and everything was wet and the service was so good. The ambience was a little cool inside, but that's OK.

Love this Denny's to begin with! The staff is always so sweet, friendly, and attentive! But tonight I want to give an extra big shout out/thank you to our server Carmen!! My fiance and I wanted to have a cutesy and semi-intimate gender reveal, and we both love a Denny's milkshake so we decided where better to go! Carmen and her coworker (I'm sorry I didn't get her name as well) were truly so sweet and kind to do this for us!! It only made it finding out about our baby girl that much more special! Thank you, both of you, you beautiful ladies!! Of course we will back, and we can't wait to bring our baby girl too!! :)

Biggest problem I have with this place right now is they only have one waitress for this whole restaurant. 12 tables with people at them and one waitress? Does that make any sense? I ordered the crêpe breakfast with two crêpes, two eggs, hashbrowns, and sausage, along with a four dollar cup of coffee. For another dollar I could've gotten a Starbucks great tasting coffee, this coffee is terrible! It took longer to order than I would've liked, but there was only one waitress that I saw waiting on tables and taking order. After we ordered , they brought the food pretty promptly, but the coffee was lukewarm and we had to order more coffee that was actually hot.. They made another pot and brought it to us. The lip of my coffee mug also had a chip in it which is unacceptable also, nice place for germs to hide. I'm being very picky, because I'm never coming back here again. I tried a couple bites of the crêpes, they were thin as paper and just as tough, I might as well have been eating paper. The rest of the food was fine nothing spectacular. Of course it's Denny's. I did tell them that the crêpes were unacceptable and since they charge about nine dollars for two crêpes, I expected them to remove at least that from our check which they ended up doing, but I had to make a serious protest in order for that to happen. Everything was so terrible that I did not even leave a tip, but my main tip would be get a cook that can cook crêpes properly or just shut the whole place down. I don't recommend eating here. And I certainly won't ever again. It makes all Denny restaurants look bad.

Not sure why we went back to this Dennys. Dennys off La Canada is the worse. We were seated quickly but sat 8 minutes before the waitress came and asked about coffee and water. At $3.95 a cup you would think they would want to make some money. Our food took 15 minutes to get to us once ordered while people that came in long after us got theirs at the same time or before us with the same and different waiter. Our food was like warm, and we all know what happens when you complain about an order. The ambiance is a typical Dennys. At least the place was clean for a change. I am not going to recommend this Dennys to attend.

The pumpkin pancakes are really sweet but very tasty. Also, can't go strong with eggs and bacon. I would give 5 stars but their curbside pickup has a lot of issues. Excessive waiting, sometimes they don't even answer the phone. Other than that, classic Denny's!

Honestly, all the food I saw coming out looked amazing, which made it even harder to choose. They have plenty of seating both inside and outside, including a really nice covered patio, which I loved. The service really stood out to me. Even though you order up front, the servers were very attentive and came by multiple times to check on us and offer drink refills, which you don't always get in this type of setup. I ordered the steak plate with mushrooms and mashed potatoes, and everything was cooked perfectly and full of flavor. The mushrooms were especially good. The only small thing was I wish the food had been a little hotter when it came out, but the taste definitely made up for it. My only other note is I wish they had unflavored iced tea. All the options were flavored, and since I'm not a soda drinker, that would've been nice to have. Overall, such a great first visit. Great food, great service, and a really comfortable atmosphere. I'll definitely be back.

The sides are purchased separate and come in generous sharing portions. We enjoyed the sweet potato fries, potato wedges, and onion rings. All nice n crisp. By that point, I was too full and took some bread pudding home for later. I enjoyed the flavor, but the texture was bit too mushy for me. The ladies working were incredibly friendly and sweet to everyone. A nice casual, clean dining area. There were multiple TVs on showing sports, without it being super loud. The dining area was actually a bit quiet until more people started showing up. Prices are fair. Definitely a place to try.

She knows her stuff-knows how to ask the right questions so that you get what you really want. For instance, I was on the fence about having biscuits and gravy but I asked if the gravy was really peppery. She offered to get me a small taste and although it was delicious, I've been a little under the weather so I decided I didn't want anything really heavy. Instead I ordered the 3 egg scramble with their smoked ham and added cheese-it was really good and a huge serving including their potatoes and English muffin. I'll probably be able to make two more meals from this serving! My husband ordered the eggs Benedict and asked which potatoes they would be able to make the most crispy as we both like our potatoes crispy. She suggested the hash browns and even asked if he wanted them crispy on both sides which was a great way to get them the way he wanted. Those kinds of gestures really make the difference when you're dining out. The eggs Benedict and the hash browns were delicious, btw. :) Camryn had a great personality too-very friendly, bright and quick. She did a great job of checking in on all of her tables. When we go back I hope we are lucky enough to have Camryn serve us again but all of the servers seemed very friendly as well. Great job, Izzy's and Camryn!

I've made this my destination breakfast for birthdays, weekends, friends brunches. This was literally the spot. The last 3 times though.... A bummer. The first letdown... these cooks have a tendency to overload their scrambles with uncooked green onions. While it may be good for others, it's not good for me. So i will CONSISTENTLY ask for light green onions. The first let down... a waitress who has been there for a while.. tried to gaslight me into thinking that if I had asked for light green onions, it'd be "a laughable amount". I asked for it anyways and it came packed with green onions. She ate her words, apologized and discounted our breakfast. The second time, the same waitress... the same interaction... but this time it came with zero green onions. She came back and said "it's either all or nothing haha". That was unnecessary. The third time... asking a completely different waitress.... Completely different interaction. 30min later, the omlette comes out packed with green onions and the waitress ignores us for the duration of our stay. So no breakfast for me lol. I understand I'm the picky eater. But dang. I wanna waste the food and not a literal bunch of green onions from the prep bin. The one thing they seem to be consistent on is goofing up my order, so it's time to move on.

The concept is definitely unique. Their menu includes burgers, wraps, shawarma wraps, and street corn, with the option to add Hot Cheetos or Doritos to several menu items. I ordered the: *Doritos Grilled Chicken Breast Wrap: it comes served over a bed of French fries tossed with Doritos seasoning. The fries were flavorful, fresh, and definitely the highlight of the meal. The wrap itself was good, but I was expecting a much stronger Doritos flavor. There wasn't much of that signature taste inside the wrap, so it felt like a missed opportunity considering the concept. You can also upgrade your order with street corn mixed with Hot Cheetos or Doritos for an additional $2.99. My total, including tip, came to a little over $18. While that's a bit on the pricey side, the wrap was massive and easily enough for two meals. My food was ready in less than 10 minutes, and everything tasted fresh. Overall, it's a fun and creative concept with generous portions. I just wish they'd lean into the theme a bit more by adding more of that bold Doritos flavor to the wrap itself.

What really makes them stand out is their use of Hot Cheetos and Doritos throughout the menu. We decided to try the Hot Cheeto Beef Burger ($12.99), which comes with a smashed beef patty, pickles, caramelized onions, arugula, Swiss cheese, Rizzo sauce, and fries underneath the burger. I ordered mine without pickles and added avocado. Presentation-wise, it was just okay. It definitely looked better on the menu. The burger came out looking a little rushed and the bun wasn't centered. Not a huge deal, but it didn't have that wow factor I was expecting. Service was pretty transactional from start to finish. Nothing negative, but there wasn't much interaction beyond taking the order and handing out the food. As for the burger itself, I have mixed feelings. It wasn't bad at all, but it didn't quite live up to the concept. The beef tasted fresh and good quality. I really liked the avocado addition. It added a nice richness and freshness that balanced everything out. I just wish there had been more caramelized onions because they were barely noticeable. Oh and no clue where the arugula went. My biggest issue was that the Hot Cheetos didn't really do much for the burger itself. Most of that flavor ended up on the fries, so the burger never really delivered the wow factor I was expecting based on the name and photos. Ironically, the fries ended up being my favorite part of the meal. The Hot Cheeto flavor came through much more there, and I liked that there was melted cheese underneath with their signature sauce throughout. They felt more like loaded fries than a side dish and honestly stole the spotlight from the burger. Everything tasted fresh and the portions were fair. For me, it landed right in the middle. Decent, but not something I'd specifically go out of my way for again.

It only took about 30 minutes to be seated (not bad, considering we were a large group). The hostess was nice and amicable, she kept us informed on our wait time and seated us promptly! The vibe was definitely lively! Love the western decor (the deer head was a nice touch). The food on the other hand was absolutely the highlight of our dining experience. I ordered the 20 oz. bone in ribeye steak 10/10- medium. The steak was cooked to perfection (nicely charred on the outside, evenly warm and pink on the inside). Nice marbling of fat as well. The food is always great. The pork rib appetizer is pretty good, comes with four bones on a bed of fries if a party wants to share just a bit each. We've enjoyed the fried pickles before but it can be a little on the salty side. Similarly, depending on the day the rice/chili/steak can be a little heavily salted, so if you are sensitive to sodium I would make that clear to your server. I always get a sirloin (can't beat the price) with a cup of chili and a baked potato. The sirloin here is very good for what it is, and rarely ever overdone, nice and juicy. The chili has no beans but is nicely savory with lots of beef flavor. They have A1 if you want and ask. Always get extra rolls. They will even give you some to take home. It is seasoned so well you don't even have to add bbq sauce ! I was full just eating both these ribs ! *Tri-Tip Sandwich: 4/5 - A very great and tasting sandwich ! The meat its self is very tasty, juicy, & tender. The bun does complement it pretty well as well as its soft yet crispy. The chimichurri is a nice addition. *French Fries: 5/5 - Golden, crispy, seasoned fries. A great option to be paired with your delicious meats ! Fluffy white potato on the inside yet crispy and ridged on the outside ! *Mac & Cheese: 3/5 - Average mac & cheese. Was creamy, less cheesy. The macaroni was cooked perfectly however I felt it needed more salt, cheese or something to make it stand out more. Upon entering this establishment there is a lot of old western theme ! A buck in the wall, nice old oak bar, wooden tables and chairs ! They also have seating outside in the back where sometimes they play live music ! Unfortunately, this was a really disappointing experience, especially since we came here to…read morecelebrate my birthday. We originally planned for a party of 16, although we ultimately ended up with 13 people. Before coming, I emailed the restaurant about accommodating our large group. I was told they don't take reservations, which was confusing and frustrating because their website stated that they take reservations for parties of 10-25, and their phone voicemail also said the same thing. My wife ultimately called and confirmed the arrangements for our group by phone. We also specifically let them know that one person in our party uses a wheelchair so they could prepare for that ahead of time. When we arrived, we found out that the section/time intended for our group had been given to another party because that group apparently told the restaurant they were us. We were essentially told there wasn't anything they could do at that point other than move us to the top of the list, so we had to wait for another area to become available. That was particularly frustrating considering how much effort we had already put into communicating with the restaurant beforehand and the conflicting information we had received about reservations in the first place. Once we were finally seated, the situation became even more frustrating. The table they gave us could not properly accommodate my uncle's wheelchair. Because of the way the table and seating were arranged, he had to sit sideways just to try to eat his food. This was particularly disappointing because we had specifically told them ahead of time that we had a wheelchair user in our party. Because he was forced to sit sideways, we asked if they could give us a bowl so we could put his food in something that would be easier for him to eat from. Initially, we were told yes. But when the food came out, we were then told that their food comes in little paper boats and that they could just give us extra boats instead. A bowl or another more practical option was never provided. Unfortunately, the seating arrangement made eating so difficult for my uncle that he wasn't even able to finish his meal. He ended up having to take essentially his entire meal home. That was easily the most disappointing part of the experience. We gave advance notice about the wheelchair specifically so the restaurant would have an opportunity to accommodate him, yet he ended up sitting sideways, struggling to eat, and ultimately taking his dinner home. The food itself was also disappointing for several people in our party. The brisket we received was extremely dry. I ordered the Texas cheesesteak and was surprised that I had to pay extra for the queso to go on it. The cornbread pudding wasn't very good either, and several other people in our group were disappointed with their food as well. There were definitely some positives. The french fries were REALLY good, the wedge salad was great, and the green beans were also really good. The atmosphere and outdoor environment are awesome and were a big reason we chose Grand Ole BBQ for my birthday in the first place. Unfortunately, those positives weren't enough to make up for the overall experience. Between the conflicting information about reservations, having our section/time given to another group, and most importantly, the lack of wheelchair accommodation after we had specifically notified the restaurant ahead of time, the night was extremely disappointing. We really wanted to love this place and were looking forward to celebrating my birthday here. Unfortunately, after this experience, I can't say we'd choose it again for a large gathering or feel comfortable recommending it to someone who needs wheelchair-accessible seating.

We ordered the 'That's My Boy' and 'Meet Meat' pizza plus their fries. Their deep dishes were light and crispy. I loved the sweet sauce, jalapeño and ricotta cheese combo on That's My Boy pizza. The Mastiff Fries had a wonderful crispy texture. They are like thinly sliced potato wedges. (Our order is without cilantro which normally comes with it) The staff was super friendly and the restaurant was clean. They did have two tv screens playing the sports channel and had a variety of draft beer options.

I had never had a smash burger before so again my expectations were a little more than the average person. They did not disappoint the flavors were so delicious. I especially enjoyed the garlic aioli more than I thought I would (it is more like a mayo for this burger). The burger came with a a handful of pickled peppers and mini pickles on side. They were good but felt a little out of place for my taste. This place is definitely more of a bar feel than I expected and smaller than I thought it would be, and the seating was tight with most all the tables being bar height. The last thing to keep in mind the parking lot is small but there is street parking, but is leads to residential area so it can be limited to. Overall the burger had good flavor and I will be back to try more on the menu. If you are looking for a beer with your burger there was a lot of choices. Also, if you are into sports, there are several televisions on with a few different events playing.
