Location - Odd Atmosphere - very clean and sharp Customer service - Sucks Fruit smoothie - excellent Food - terrible Our original waitress had to take a lunch break right before our food came out so we got a fill in waitress (short redhair ) what we ordered was HORRIBLE but we tried our best to eat it and not complain. When she dropped check off we said we just want to let her know what was bad about the food. She freakin brushed us off like a fly on ice cream. Very Rude!!! It was like she took it personal. We were very polite about it and she didn't care 2 poops. So scratch this off the map. read more

I am a frequent Denny's patron. I used to come to this Denny's multiple times a week before they moved across the street. The food is still wonderful and I can still get my diner coffee fix. However, the new building more frequently than not smells like human feces. I'm surprised none of the other reviews reference it. On several occasions I have walked into the door and had to turn and leave for another Denny's location. The bathrooms are spotless, which makes me think the problem might be a gas leak... Whatever it may be, it has been a big disappointment. This used to be my favorite Denny's. ): read more

Denny's - American Near Me - Glendale, Arizona

Absolutely horrible service. :(. I would never recommend this place based on my experience. I was picking up a door dash order and was waiting over 15 minutes for two milkshakes to be made. When I entered I was asked what food was in the order I was picking up. When I told the worker, her response was "oh I guarantee that's not made or ready yet." Really? F that. No value to the customers and DOOR DASHERs helping keeping you in business. read more

When we first got here we waited about 15 minutes before a manager finally realized we hadn't been helped . She then attempted to take our order until mid ordering she had someone else come take our order . Toya took out order and was phenomenal. She was slammed but she made sure she got our order correct and attended to us when she could. read more

Nate was our server and his service was fantastic. The food was great and the restaurant was clean. Thanks for the great experience, Nate!

We all had Cobb salads which were very good, but what made the dining experience special was our wonderful waitress, Toya

My wife and I dined in this morning and I've never felt so disrespected. It was lonely and I was asking for hot coffee and she would take a long time to serve us. I asked her if the coffee was almost ready and she said she wasn't going to serve my wife and longer. We weerent at all disrespectful. I wanted my coffee warm. I am never going to this place again. read more

-1 star: Long wait for pick-up, cashier told me order wasn't made because it wasn't in the system. Got out of line to pull up confirmation email and then had to wait in line again for her to tell me it didn't show up because it was already paid for. Why not tell me that & hand me my food as soon as I got back in line. The people were behind me @ 1 point, I waited for 3 more guest to pay their tickets to be handed my food with a horrible excuse. My order was there the whole time on the counter. Now about 20mins. -1 star: Got home and hash browns were almost completely raw, I had to actually cook them on the stove. Thankfully I just took it home or else I wouldn't have eaten them. The 2 sausage were so cooked they look dehydrated, I fed those to the dogs. -1 star: All the other food was cold & I didn't have time to be re-heating everything so I basically just ate the cold pancakes w/ cold syrup (lame)& then the hashbrowns once they were finished cooking. Eggs were too cold and I didn't feel like doing the work for those. We ordered 2 of the New Slam deals for $5.99 & were very disappointed. Guess you get what you pay for??? read more

This place is always sketchy at best, but tonight was really ridiculous. Arrived at 8:30 pm. Ordered Slam with 2 eggs over hard, hash browns, bacon and English Muffin plus coffee. Husband ordered Hams over My Hammy sandwich and iced tea. Waitress brought water and tea quickly, but I had to ask for the coffee 10 minutes later. Dinner arrived 45 minutes later. We didn't complain, we know everyone is short- handed. But my order was missing the eggs and had ham instead. I told the manager (I think). He said he wasn't going to charge us for the ham and would get those eggs. The eggs took another 15 minutes and at the end he did charge for the ham. I did complain about that. So he got surly about that and asked for the ham back. I kid you not. So someone got the ham I left on the plate. Bye bye Dennys. read more

So this is Denny's not some fancy dancy restaurant in downtown or uptown. The Super Bird and spicy fries were very good but the service provided by Melissa was absolutely excellent! She was continually making sure that we did not need anything and always had the iced tea refills ready to go. Thanks Melissa!! read more

Red was our server and she is a ROCK STAR!!! Sunday of course is busier than most days, so took I little bit to get our food, but WELL WORTH the WAIT!! Food was hot and delicious!! The Grand Slamich is a breakfast sandwich with Ham, crumbled bacon and Sausage. Adding onions to it and my hash browns just set the meal off! Mom gave me her soft well cooked pancakes with the warm delicious maple syrup, YUMMY!!! read more

I came in this evening not too many people. Was very quiet. Good atmosphere. I had the double cheese burger with cheddar cheese on a whole wheat bun with lettuce tomato and red onion. And a bowl of fresh fruit bananas, red grapes and cantaloupe. This was very delicious. I will be returning to this location, I have found my home away from home. read more

Cant give zero stars or I would. Food was all wrong. Not the way I ordered it. Ordered scrambled eggs with cheese. No cheese. Wanted bacon but got sausage. Waitress never came back until I was done. She was sitting at the counter wrapping what looked like silverware in napkins. Also watched her throw trash away and then start wrapping silverware again without washing her hands. read more

Terrible service, honestly have given this location one too many chances. Whether I order through delivery service or dine in with friends, this location seems to disappoint. They seem to be understaff and have terrible management, which in return stresses the wait staff. The staff always looks tired and done with working here. Management never seems to want to help when orders are behind. Always end up waiting on food and when it does arrive the order is either incorrect or cold. Don't waste time coming here, spend a little extra and dine somewhere else. read more

Hello . Very upset with this location . They are horribly slow . I called in an order and arrived 10 minutes later and still had to wait 30 more minutes for my food to be ready . I do not recommend and highly un professional read more

Went here with my longtime friend to get some breakfast, and honestly, I was really impressed with the service. They were extremely busy, but we had several servers and hostesses communicate with us, promising and delivering service in "just a minute!" We were seated shortly, and although we had to wait a little while for our food, our server Dustin informed us that they were short one cook and that our food was coming up. In turn for our patience, he gave us both free drinks. I was grateful for the great communication, and the new crepes on the menu were yummy. Give this place a chance, they're not that bad at all! read more

Front desk staff a bit unorganized but friendly. Waitress was okay but the food was not great. I guess my thought would be if theres something your "out of" don't make the whole meal, serve it to the customer, and then when the customer asks where's the other stuff that is supposed to come on this...it's "the cook said we were out". Why not just tell the customer hey we're out of a few ingredients did you want to substitute or change? are you fine without, or did you wanna order something different? Onion rings were burnt to a crisp. The iced tea was good lol still paid over $40 for one person to eat. Took MAYBE 3 fries off my plate. This is the 3rd time I've been to this Denny's. I will never return either. read more

DO NOT COME HERE I FOUND A HAIR ON MY FOOD and the manager just took it off my bill and didn't bother to apologize and ask me if I wanted something else . NEVER COMING HERE AGAIN read more

Rude waitress, put my Pregnant wife and I in the sun on purpose. Rushed us to finish. Brought the check before the food was finished and offered ToGo boxes minutes later. However, the food was excellent and done quickly. Compliments to the chef. read more

Not the greatest experience even by Denny's standards. Line was too long even though I saw open seats. When I was finally sat, waited for about 10 minutes before someone even approached me. When I say that I'm frustrated because of how long I waited, I'm frustrated because every other server either walked by me or looked at me (eye contact) and kept walking. When I tried to flag down the hostess, she just shrugged her shoulders at me. When my server (Melissa) finally did show up, she explained that she was making a milkshake. Melissa did ultimately salvage the experience, but she's the only one. I will say that the food wasn't too bad considering and it did come out way faster than I was expecting. Melissa turned out to be awesome, but everyone else really need to learn the meaning of teamwork. It's unlikely that I'll return to this particular Denny's anytime soon. read more

We went to this Dennys a little after 1:00 Pm on our way to the airport. just a quick lunch. Our food was wrong and our waitress blamed it on the kitchen. All she said was sorry. No offer to remake or try to make it right. We asked to see a manager. None ever came. In fact we didn't see a manager the entire time we were there which was about 40 minutes. How could a manager not be in the dining room during lunch. this restaurant is not very well run. At least not on this day. We actually left most of our lunch and got something at the airport. We won't make this mistake again. read more

We went this morning for Sunday breakfast. As you can imagine the place was full when we arrived but they sat us right away. The hostess was gracious and our server came to our table right away to get our drink orders. It was a steady flow of people all during our stay there and yet our food was brought correctly and in a timely manner; everything was delicious. Our server was very nice. And the restaurant was clean. We'll definitely visit this Denny's again! read more

The service was not that bad, the wait was no more than 10 minutes long. We were presented with a good server and our food took a little while but was expected with the crowd of orders before. I had the philly cheese steak omelet and it was alright but something I will not order again. We also had the jalapeño honey bacon which was Really good. The pumpkin pancakes were really great and were smeared in like a cream cheese sauce. Overall I had a good experience at this location read more

This is my husband and myself favorite spot We are here usually on a weekend Morning for breakfast. We always get exceptional service, we feel like family. I had to make an Yelp account after reading some of the comments, it's 3 am in the morning and i decided to stop in and get breakfast before heading home. Mainly I expect service would be bad from other restaurants experiences at this time but this has to be the most friendliest , most interacting night crew I've been with. Even the guest were interacting with one another. I enjoyed my server "Adam" very much and how properly manner he is. The food was nice and hot, did not take a long time to be brought out to me! Every thing tasted amazing. I would definitely come back to this exact location even being out in Avondale , Az. :) read more

We really enjoy this location. The employees are always friendly and fast. Meghan was our waitress today and she was wonderful!

Just left this place and I would not give it a second look if I were in the area. It was fairly steady busy but nothing overwhelming...i was sat almost immediately and was served my coffee, Kelly G. was my server and promptly took my order, that was the extent of her availability. I was holding an empty coffee cup more than I was drinking it. I noticed the manager eyeing me a few times and he even offered once to refill. He was also the one to bring my order to me, Kelly never once checked on me to see how things were. I got up and got my own condiments from table next to me. When it came time to check out I searched for the manager to leave him the tip but he was nowhere to be seen...care to guess what Kelly got? BTW I had the chicken fried steak and it was riddled with gristle and I ALWAYS order my potatoes burnt and the too was a LITTLE crisp but the inside was actually cold. read more

We went here tonight and we waited for 30 mins then we finally went up to someone and said we have been waiting. No one even acknowledge us or brought drinks nothing. Then they talked to our server and he denied that we were his table and kept on doing what he was doing. After we decided that we didn't want to wait anymore they walked over asking if we wanted drinks. We said no and left the restaurant. We went to IHOP down street instead and got excellent service and food was awesome!!! Would never recommend this Denny's at all they suck. read more

WAAAAAYYYYY too expensive for the quality of food. I hadn't been to a Denny's in years and it will be even longer the next time. Service was horrible. I guess they don't explain to the servers which tables they are assigned and I don't even want to talk about waiting to pay! DISASTER! read more
