I hadn't been to Denny's in forever and I decided to stop in around lunchtime and I hadn't had breakfast so that's what was on my mind! I got a close parking spot and sat at the breakfast bar. I ordered eggs, bacon, and hashbrowns, which hit the spot. The service is friendly and they were quite busy on a Saturday. And then the most incredible thing happened to me, as I rose and asked to pay my bill, they told me I didn't have one that the gentleman at the end of the breakfast bar had already paid it. After waiting more than half an hour we were seated by the kitchen. I wanted soup and salad. They didn't have any of the soup that was even a regular on the menu. Just got the Cesar Salad. Must of been the bottom of the batch, so much dressing I couldn't even eat it. Others in my party ordered other things and also said the food was terrible. When we complained to the waitress she said she took the price of our ice teas off the check. The thing is, one of the meals ordered came with a drink. What a joke. Late night brekkie! Denny's is great for being open really late and having decent food. I said decent okay lol Don't come for me Yelp Elites... hahhaa I get that Denny's isn't some amazing food. It's really not. The food is alright, not the best. It's usually edible. lol I remember being a teenager and loving Denny's. It was cheap and very affordable. Now, as an adult, I much prefer other places for breakfast. But, you gotta do what you must when it is late at night, and you and hubby are hungry lol My husband loves Denny's because he loves breakfast. He is always down for Denny's. Me, not so much. lol It's more of a "last resort" for me lol I'll check if IHOP, black bear and other spots are open first lol If not, then okay on Denny's. I came here after a night out on the town with a weird craving for salad with thousand island. Denny's was able to deliver what I wanted. The salad was fresh, the dressing tasted great and all the toppings were perfect! The Egg-Cellent Grilled Chicken Cobb Salad is definitely the way to go for a light meal. My friends and I sat inside and dined (they had grand slams) and the whole experience was fine until the lady in the booth behind us started to threaten her boyfriend with a butter knife and banging a plate on the table loudly. To my knowledge none of the waitstaff approached the table or asked them to leave but I sort of understand that maybe it was because the girl was belligerently drunk and all of the workers were ladies themselves. Seeing this happen, my friend approached the girl, took the plate and knife from her and gave it to the wait staff and apologized to them for people (not in our party) being so rude. This prompted the manager (I assume) to come and say thank you to my friend for helping them and chalked it up to crazy drunk people. I think they could have done something or at least comped my friend's coffee since she had to step in but aside from that incident our visit to Denny's was great! read more

Good food, but this location never advertises the deals that are available on the app and website. They'll honor them if you ask, but they don't tell customers about them. Lots of breakfast slams for under 10 dollars, instead of 20. Pro tip: Check the deals before ordering--you could save almost half the price on a similar meal. read more

My mom and I really liked our server Mario! He was friendly and very polite. My mom's steak was overcooked and Mario apologized and brought my mom a perfectly cooked medium rare juicy steak. He showed a great attitude and we would definitely go back because of him. We got our food nice and hot real fast. Cant remember a time I enjoyed a Denny's this much. For sure best location I been too in years. Food came out hot and delicious. Only complaint is that I dont feel the price is fair for the size/portions. I ordered moons over my hammy and paid nearly $20. Staff was also very friendly and nice. read more

I absolutely love this Dennys. Food is freshly prepared hot and delicious. Juan our waiter is amazing he's friendly professional and is always refilling everyone's coffee Restrooms are very clean restaurant is very clean and expertly maintained. I have been to other locations but I will definitely be making this location my favorite. Anita was our server for our breakfast. She made my whole family feel welcome and she made my son's birthday breakfast one of a kind. Our food did take a little longer than expected but it was worth the wait. All of our food items had a lot of flavor. I particularly liked my country potatoes, seasoned perfectly. As I am a coffee person, I definitely enjoy they come to the table constantly to serve more coffee : ) Parking I want to say is kind of small but they are located in a shopping center so if you don't mind parking far and walk then you will definitely not struggle. I hadn't been to Denny's in a while, and I had never been to the one in Fullerton. I was surprised at how modern and fresh it looked inside. I noticed a big sign with Fullerton written in lights. The restaurant was very clean. I had half Turkey club sandwich with wavy fries; it was delicious. The sandwich was very flavorful and the french fries were hot and crispy. The service was impeccable. Our waiter was very attentive and he anticipated drink refills before I said anything. I plan on going back. read more

The two things that made this location great was how close it was to the Disneyland entrance, and Pablo(he calls himself the grinch) he has the best personality with our son and made dennys the best experience I have ever had there. He was there asking family's if their children wanted a ballon animal for what ever they are willing to give. The guy waiting on us was attentive and he was working alone. Poor guy! I got to the bar first, no lie. Two gentlemen came after me. I placed my order first, and I didn't begin eating until a few minutes after each of them. The waitress has to call out my order to the cooks to get it cooked. The waitress (Younger lady in her last 20's, early 30's with black hair and glasses brought my check, about 10 minutes before I was done eating. Sometime before I finished she pushed the check closer to me, as if I didn't see it the first time. This offended me because I felt like she was acting like I wasn't going to pay it or something. smh There was a man next to me that the staff were calling 'Jeffe'. They waited on him hand and foot and even took his check and payment, without making him walk to the front desk to pay. Me, I had to walk to the front desk and barely got a thank you and good bye. Denny's we must do better, and we can't show favoritism to others, treat everyone the same. Also, it's not cool to be upcharged without being at least told first about the charge, so it isn't unexpected. Overall... this is an OK Denny's Restaurant. At this location they also offer outside seating, and bar seating. As well as curbside pick up with designated parking spots for it. It was three of us, on a Sunday around 12:45 pm. The restaurant was almost full, but not crowded. We waited 15 minutes for a table, not a bad wait! The guy that took us to our table seemed like he was having a bad day, not a single greeting, not a single smile, nothing. Our table was still wet, so I had to grab some napkins and dry the seats myself so we could sit down, even-though I mentioned it to the hostess but he couldn't care less. On the other hand, our waiter Ramon, was such a funny guy. Good jokes, friendly, very welcoming, and attentive. He was cracking jokes with us when he came to our table lol. Great guy! He took our order quickly and always paying attention if we needed something. The food took a bit longer than usual. At least comparing to other Denny's that I have been to. My daughter and I had a daddy/ daughter brunch outing. She really wanted to go to Denny's. She's 10. Lol. We got seated. After 30 minutes, no one had yet even took our drink order, let alone our lunch order. It was like they sat us and we turned invisible all of a sudden. I looked around, to see if there was anyone I could flag down. But they all seemed to be in the kitchen or attending other tables. I told my daughter I would set a 5 minute timer. If our order wasn't taken by then, we would have to go elsewhere. Needless to say, after 5 minutes we ended up leaving. It's ok, we ended up at a great Ramen Place next door! Unfortunately that means that they need to be properly staffed, which didn't appear to be the case when we went. Coffee mug wasn't properly washed and had red lipstick, so we sent it back. Not only did the food take long to be served, the French Toast was burnt. The waitress told us to eat around it and offered to get us a fresh batch as well. Needless to say, we said no on the new batch as we had already waited a very long time and seeing how busy they were, it wasn't going to happen right away. Denny's can be hit or miss, but my grandpa really likes it and wanted to try this new location. We stopped in for breakfast on Saturday. He ordered one of the meals on the 55+ Menu and enjoyed it. He doesn't eat large portions, so the senior menu is the perfect size for him. I got the Superbird sandwich with fruit. I thought it was delicious. Plenty of turkey, ham and cheese and the bacon was cooked just right. I would definitely order this again. I love the light up Fullerton sign, really gives this Denny's a modern look.
