Plenty of booths, 4-top tables and hybrid tables. The hostess sat us at a booth as we requested. A moment later, our server, Makayla was by with coffee. She also left us the carafe and then brought out water and left us a large glass cold bottle of water - their standard practice. We ordered our meal about 5 minutes later. The two of us shared the following: - Farmhouse Hash with 2 Soft Scrambled Eggs - Side of 2 Poached Medium Eggs The meal was served hot and for us, it was the perfect amount of food. While we may not be back this way to visit this location, we can recommend it. And we look forward to our next First Watch visit close to our home in Texas.

The service was nice and very accommodating to the fact that we had a newborn and hyper preschooler as part of our group. I just felt like...nothing had flavor? It's been a few years since I've been, but the chicken and dumplings was disappointing. The meatloaf was disappointing. Beans were meh. At least the biscuits were pretty good? But it just did not justify the wait at all for me. I know there are a lot of casual dining chains doing quite well these days and I'm a fan of many of them, but I'm good with Cracker Barrel.

The lentil and cream of cauliflower soups might also be vegetarian; we didn't ask. They do malts and very affordable sundaes; kids would be delighted. There's also an enormous selection of pies, worth checking out next time. Basically it's an old-fashioned diner with a giant menu and a few vegetarian options - also apparently a liquor license as they serve wine. It's not as charming inside as outside (dropped ceiling, a couple of TVs) but if you like diners you'll feel at home. Real butter and half-and-half (with a few flavored creamers) on the table. We got a vegetarian omelet, the Eggs Florentine, and a hot fudge banana split. Service was fine. Toast is served dry so you can pick how much to butter, which I appreciate. The omelets are 3-egg, heavy on the vegetables, and the Eggs Florentine had probably a whole tomato sliced and broiled and a good half-cup of spinach. Food is very mildly seasoned, but you can get hot sauce if desired. The hot fudge banana split was a vision: as much whipped cream as ice cream, sprinkles - best shared. The strawberry ice cream was notably good and the hot fudge was generous.

This was (almost) comical. We had wanted to try a different coffee shop this morning but discovered…read morethey weren't open yet and we were hungry so we decided to stop in before making a trip to Target. We have been here before a few years ago and the food was pretty good so we were not expecting this experience. We ordered two paninis, two coffees and my husband got an order of pancakes in addition. We ordered it to eat there. They gave us a table number and we sat down. We proceeded to watch three people very confused about how to make a coffee for at least 10-15 min. They are reading handbooks and walking around confused. I then watch them trying to figure out how to make my cold brew in a giant pitcher with tap water from a sink in the back. I watch them measuring out cloudy tap water and reading instructions on how to make it. Meanwhile they are also confused on how to make my husbands caramel macchiato. At one point one of them is smelling the coffee cup. This was all a little concerning but ok whatever. Then we get our food. It was not great but again, whatever. My cold brew was warm and murky and had just a few ice cubes floating in it. My husband was afraid to even try his coffee as when he received it I found this thick black hair in the other half of my panini. My husband mentions this to the woman who brought his coffee and she was nice and took it away and asked if we wanted something else. We were very grossed out and asked can they just refund the pancakes because they still weren't ready and we were just ready to leave. She was nice and said ok but then nobody had any idea how to give a refund. She had to call someone to refund us. We then left and I'm reading the receipt and she didn't refund us she had refunded someone else who had the same table number. I had to call back and tell her she didn't refund the right person or entree. She asked if we could come back but I really didn't want to waste any more time in there. She was very nice and apologetic and called me back and had refunded our entire order even though we just asked for the pancakes to be refunded as they hadn't come out. We will not come back though. This was pretty gross. It takes a lot for me to say something to the staff and not just suffer in silence. This was pretty bad. They really need to train their staff. Making coffee that's on their regular menu should be pretty second nature. Not having hair in the food is also a reasonable expectation. Gross.
