Alberto attended us from the moment we sat down the service was absolutely great. The food was cooked just the way we ordered it.

The food was good. Very fresh salad, tasty salmon. The server - Jessie - is a lovely, friendly and very fast waitress!

A little upset, drove past all kinds of fast foods (29 miles) after finding dennys on the map stating open till 11:pm, got here at 10:20 to find the 6 works standing around inside & outside with the open sign off, asked one of the employees why locked up when suppose to be open & his response was "I dont know" . Worst Denny's experience ever. Our coffee took forever to come, the food took forever to come and there was a mistake on one order and another order was missing. Food came in sections. Eggs were over cooked and hash browns were undercooked. There was a hair in the water. Waitress never refilled coffee. read more

On our way to Vegas we decided to stop at Dennys in Baker. The server was so great she was friendly and took very good care of us. She was on top of what we needed never had to request any refills she already had us covered so it was definitely a great idea to stop at this Dennys in Baker. Will be stopping again and will be requesting the same server. Came today around noon, for breakfast on my way home from Vegas. Adrianna was my waitress, very sweet and recommended the skillet I had. I knew this would be my last meal until iz got home 5.5 hours later, back to the valley. It didn't have much on it, but it was tasty. I ordered the supreme skillet minus the bell peppers. It was skimpy, but did the job. The bathrooms and the dining room floor were dirty, which I know is not a good sign, but the service made up for it. Two waitresses actually brought me waters from the start, so they are on it here! You get 15% off if you are an AARP member, so I used my card for the first time today. LOL. The waitress gets the star. We should have known from the greeting to turn around. Hunger took over and when the host finally greeted us with no eye contact or smile we followed along to be seated. Our cups of coffee and tea were now empty while we were waiting for the food that took a bit longer than expected, especially with all the empty tables. We never did receive lemon slices requested. Food was barely warm, which could be on purpose, so I eat faster......get out faster........free up table.......so who is the smarter one? In any case I would not recommend this Denny's. We stopped at a roadside Denny's and my sister and I ordered the exact same thing and my husband got a skillet. They bring out the food but not mine. A few minutes later she brings only my bacon??? She says I'm waiting on your eggs. Um ok. After another wait, she finally brings the eggs and asks they put hash browns on your plate is that ok?, as I didn't order them. Driving from LA to Vegas. Needed to stop to stretch my legs and get some breakfast. The Denny's in Baker was a familiar name and a known entity. Ambience: this is a fairly typical Denny's. If you've ever been in a Denny's, this one is really no different. It is clean. Maybe a little smaller than other Denny's that I have been in. Service: saying that the service is slow is being generous. You really shouldn't stop here if you are in a hurry. We were in no rush, so the slow service didn't bother me. And our server was friendly and seemed to be trying. Food: I tried the veggie omelette on the senior fit menu. Under 400 calories. Two eggs, some veggies, a little cheddar cheese, and some diced tomatoes on top. Overall pretty tasty. I got it with a side of cut up fruit. Overall, filling and made me feel like I was eating something healthy. Value: for under eight bucks, if you're not in a hurry this is a good deal. Plus, 15% off if you're a member of AARP. read more

Very rude people there is a bad traffic situation on the 15 a lot of people pulling off of to Baker to get food especially diabetics and according to their website they are supposed to be open,but they have the doors locked. Oh gosh. I should have read the reviews before I chose to eat here. The service was the only light in this place. All the rest was horrible. The food wasn't good. The place didn't feel clean. And it took them forever to get 2 scrambled eggs. Dennys I remember is something else. I am guessing here, but the service here must have something to do with the fact that this place is one on the road to Vegas. So probably they don't care too much. When we got there it was crazy busy. However, we did not wait too long to be seated. And once we were seated...well, the busboy walked right up and took our drink order. The food was great, and for the most part the waitress was attentive. It was busy, (so after one round of) refills and the extra butter my son ask for did not make it to the table. However we were good... until the waitress ask if we needed anything else and we said no, and then she walked by repeatedly while we waited for our check. After a 20 minute wait (I kid you not), I walked up to the front counter and requested the check. When I explained to the manager who just so happened to be manning the counter what happened... NOTHING! Not even a, "sorry about that". Customer Service... it can make and break a place. We probably wont bother going back. read more

Great stop on our way to Vegas. Waitress was friendly and, though she didn't write our order down, was still competent enough to get it right. Maybe I was just hungry but the pancakes were delicious. In and out in about 30 minutes. Perfect rest stop when you don't want to deal with fast food. I took off one star because the bathrooms were horrific. Pee all over the seats and floor. I haven't been to a Denny's in years! This location was great to stop in and have a breakfast on our way back home from Vegas. It is normally very hard for me to find gluten free options at a restaurant so I was pleasantly surprised to have many options. I ordered the Veggie Skillet which was great. My only suggestion for Denny's would be to cook with less oil on these "lighter fare" dishes. My husband and kids all had the Grand Slams. They loved it and there was even food left over. Portions were big and everyone left stuffed for the rest of our drive. My husband asked our server for a coffee to go and she was kind enough to send him off with one at no additional change. My family and I love eating at Denny's, every time we're on a road trip. So, we were so happy to find one in the middle of nowhere while driving to Vegas for New Years. That excitement quickly turned into disappointment. The waitress was not friendly at all, she behaved as if she was being forced to take our order. The food looked like leftovers warmed up in the microwave. I spit out my broccoli as soon as I seen it had mold on it! I'm pretty sure it was expired. Just a very bad experience all together! Stopped by here a couple of weeks ago from a business trip to Las Vegas and forgot to write a yelp review as I am doing an expense report. I wanted to say that Carlos provided possibly the best possible experience I ever had at a Dennys. When we were ready to order he was right there. When we needed refills he was right there. From when he brought out the food to when we had left, my experience at this Denny's with Carlos was seemless and beautiful. Now granted, we were the only ones in the restaurant however there have been many times when I have been the only patron in a restaurant and the service was horrible. Given that this is a Denny's in the middle of nowhere on the way from Las Vegas, I was shocked at how great this service was. Great job Carlos, you seriously deserve it. read more
