Without a doubt the WORST cleaners/tailor. I took them a patch to sew onto a jean jacket at the opposite location as another patch, not a big deal. I go to pick up the jacket and it is NO WHERE near the location of the other patch. I asked them to please fix it and when I went back to pick it up... IT WAS SEWN ON BACKWARDS and had a very pleasant note from the sewer that they would not fix the patch again. I asked the woman working for a refund and she instructed me to go to their Lead Mine location because that's where the owner was and she's the only one who can process a refund. The location of the shop is inconvenient but the quality is HORRIBLE. I will definitely be contacting the BBB. read more

My experience from start to finish was a disaster. I waited forever to try on pants in the one room with a broken lock and a major peeping tom opening. I was told my pants would be ready on a Weds. When I went by on Weds at 3pm, they were not ready. I had to come back at the end of the day - and wait in a long line with 1 customer service person managing everything from the pinning to the financial transactions. When someone called the store during this busy time, the phone was answered but was left on the counter for 10 minutes. When the service person picked it up, the caller had obviously hung up. When I tried my pants on at home, they were too short. I brought them back and was told I would get a call to address the issue. I never did. So I called to follow up. Again and again and again - and I was told each time I would get a call back. It never happened. I still have yet to resolve the issue but on my last call, I was told that the hemming of my pants was too short but that it was not their fault. What? How can a reputable tailor not own a mistake and make it right? I respect a culture gap but I do not recommend this tailor to anyone noting the slow service, lack of customer service, long waits in line and mistakes. read more

I have to echo Adam S, Willa is incredibly charming and makes my visits almost something to look forward to. She's warm and cheerful and I skip the nearer cleaners to come here. As far as the cleaning service goes, the dress I took there was cleaned with no problems. I wanted to try a new dry cleaner so I visited Deluxe with my $5 off entertainment coupon. After receiving my dry cleaning I presented the lady at the front desk with my coupon and she told me she would not honor the coupon. I insisted and she called the owner who said they would not honor the coupon. I also spoke with the owner about how I went out of my way and felt tricked into coming to their store. She defended her position but after much consternation honored the coupon. Needless to say I will never visit again after having to argue over a $5 coupon they were choosing not to honor. Based on other reviews I should never considered there services to begin with. Even after the coupon prices still almost 2x higher. Good luck with that. read more

This is the best dry cleaner in Raleigh! I drive an extra 15 minutes just to go here. The woman who runs this shop (and greets you everytime you stop in) is hilarious, kind, courteous and loves her job! She may be one of my favorite people in the Raleigh area. Go here!! After ruining two sweaters, I was hung up on by the owner numerous times. I reported the incidents to the better business bureau and was informed that they have contacted the business. Deluxe cleaners has probably already been reported to the better business bureau and just decided to ignore correspondence from them. Beware of this cleaners. If you ever have a problem, the owner will not address the issue and will hang up on you. Who ever wrote that nice business mission statement on their website is definitely not the current owners. They don't deserve anyone's business. They way she behaved on the phone, they don't appreciate their customers and the revenue that they collect from them at all. read more

Brought in 4 pants, same size, to be altered. No measurements taken, only what I said, take in an inch and a half. Asked about no trying on and measuring, "we don't need to". No price was given, said I would have to wait til they were done. Picked up and 3 pairs were perfect, one pair felt unchanged. Cost for 4 pants altered and 2 shorts dry cleaned, $125!!! Sent back to fix and after a week said they forgot to send back and after the 2nd week got a note attached to unfixed pants, " took in the inch and a half, if you want more you must pay again". No call, no discussion. Her employees(multiple) even recommended going to somebody else!!! This lady Kay does not deserve business. Don't wast your time or money supporting this business. There are plenty other alterers and dry cleaners who actually can do it right!!! read more

I had dropped off a pair of custom NC State "critter pants" and Willa just loved how many of her customers had seen the pants on the rack and asked if she knew where they came from. So she begged me for the info so she could share with her regulars who had asked. Talk about paying it forward. I regret coming here. I dropped my laundry off for wash and fold. They were unable to weigh it in store and then charged me NINETY DOLLARS for my laundry. It's a ridiculous rip off, especially after my clothes came back shrunken and in much worse condition than when I dropped them off. I had been a loyal customer for over 2 years of this cleaner bringing in clothes weekly to be dry cleaned. As others have mentioned Willa is an amazing employee and she does a wonderful job. However Over the past month they have ruined two pairs of pants and when I spoke with Willa she put me int touch with the Manager. The Manager was the worst customer experience I have ever had. I told her that my pants had been ruined and requested either a refund or something to compensate and she told me it was my fault and that I caused it and she would not do anything. Do not count on them to deliver when they promise to. Needed same day tailoring for pants (which they advertise) dropped them off at 7:00 AM right when they opened and was told they couldn't do it. They said they would have them ready at 9:00 AM the next day. Went the next morning and found out they wouldn't even be back at the store to pick up until 5:00 PM. I will never go back there again and I spent $200 month on dry cleaning. No way to run a local business. read more

Buyer beware! First they lost my dress, then they found my dress but it was missing the shoulder straps that were sewn into the dress when I brought the dress in for dry cleaning making it totally unwearable. The owner refused to reimburse me for the dry cleaning or the dress and hung up on me when I called to discuss this issue with her. Willa is very nice but unfortunately she is powerless to do anything to help the customer when a problem arises. This is a great dry cleaners! I know the owners personally and they believe in satisfaction. Their prices are a bit higher than the cheaper $1.87 dry cleaners, but you get what you pay for. These owners at Deluxe deal with all of their services directly, so every dime counts to them. They take pride in their cleaning and the results that they get. I have been in the store when people have brought dry cleaning from other places that had been damaged and Deluxe fixed it. Although they question damaged clothing before they clean, or alter it, it is well worth it when there are people that always try to get over and come out with something free. I can go on all day about the owners of Deluxe and the few people who have put bad reviews on here. I guarantee you that these few people went in with a problem already and wanted to pass the blame on someone else. These are the same people whom go in on services blindly, and do not want to come out looking bad so they point the finger to others. What about the customers who go into the cleaners and not ask specific questions about their cleaning? If you are allergic, say so! Also if you are dropping off clothes for someone else, be specific! Anyhow, try them for yourself and you will see. If you go in honestly and with a pleasant attitude you will get one in return. read more
