DO NOT GO HERE!! I dropped off my clothes during the last week of May and had asked how long can I leave them for. I was told 1yr before they had to be picked up. After 60 days I got a call from a manager saying the business is under new management and I had to pick up my clothes due to North Carolina law. I attempted to pick up my clothes 2wks later only to find out they're closed on a Sunday. Just last week I received a voicemail stating if my clothes aren't picked up by the end of the month they'll be donated. After calling them back, they told me I now had 90 days to pick up my clothes. I picked up my clothes yesterday and for the record it was a total of 92 days. WILL NOT BE RETURNING! read more

These cleaners can really get the job done and done well. Their staff is always friendly and very helpful. I take stuff here probably on a monthly basis and they've never disappointed. Their dry cleaning is great and their alterations are always very thorough and well-done. The colors bled on a favorite blue and white shirt once. I took it there shortly after taking it out of the wash and they were able to get it back to good and new. I recently had a tear in a beautiful silk and chiffon dress. They fixed the tear and I can't even find where the tear was now! I give it 4 out of 5 stars because it's a little pricey. Slacks and blouses are $6.00. Dresses range from $10 - 12 to be cleaned. They do a good job though which makes me hesitant to try the other cheaper cleaner a half mile away. They're incredibly professional. Keep on with the beautiful cleaning Brothers Cleaners! read more

I chose to Brothers because they had good reviews on YP and the Pleasant Valley location is close to home. I am so impressed with their service! I went in before work to drop off our comforter that needed to be cleaned after our move from FL. The woman working at the counter was very nice. She answered all of my questions, welcomed me to Raleigh and then gave me an envelope of new customer info with coupons. When it was time to pick it up I went through the drive through and the young man working there placed it in the backseat of my car. Super easy and fast! I was able to get $5 off the cleaning with one of the new customer coupons. The comforter was perfectly cleaned, pressed, and bagged. It is even more fluffy then when we bought it! Brothers will definitely be our go-to cleaner from now on! read more

Absolutely terrible. Had a rug to be cleaned there. After a week they had no idea where it was. Promised a call back - none provided. After two more weeks my wife had to go there in person for them to finally start looking for it. Took two more days for it to appear. They did give us the cleaning half off for the delay. At the same time I picked up some dry cleaning that we had left there as well - found someone else's shirt in the middle of my shirts - so now I have to go back to return that shirt (at least I would expect that if someone else found my shirt..). For the money (there are actually signs in the store explaining why they are more expensive and therefore better...) it's not worth going there. read more

The people who work here seem to look for ways to irritate their customers. They seemed delighted to tell me that they would not honor their discount coupon, which they sent me via email. There must be a disconnect between the corporate office and the various locations for Brothers. They do not honor their coupons, which is disturbing. The attitude is infuriating. They also seemed happy to inform me that I could not receive my dry cleaning for 6 days. There is no reason for this type of turnaround on shirts and pants. Once again, lousy service and terrible attitude. My advice would be to look for another dry cleaner. There are many in Raleigh and this one is worth avoiding. read more

Few items that came back are very stiff and doesn't have the original texture. Some of the sweaters also lost their soft feel...One dress pants came back without a crease even though it was there when I left it. Most importantly the store misplaced one item. They said they will look for it but are not too hopeful. Very disappointing. read more

Twice the price, twice as long and terrible customer service. Go to the cleaners down the street that are half the price, just as clean and get your your clothes at a responsible time. Did I mention their store hours listed aren't accurate? Don't expect that they stay open as advertised, if you want your clothes get there an hour early just in case they decide to change their hours on their store window but not online. read more

My fiance recommended this business as it's where he does all of his dry cleaning...neither him or I will ever do business there again! Talk about overharging they priced me at $150 to have a $100 dress cleaned. They were very rude, unprofessional, and condescending. Don't go there if you expect to be treated like a quality customer...no negotiation or explanation. Another dry cleaner up the road Davie street, they did the dress for $25.90. Very disappointing experience. My fiance ended up not bringing in his 12 dress shirts and 5 dress pants. read more

Brothers is a company with old school, hand shake integrity and commitment and new world speedy service.

Quick and easy service. I dropped off a coat, and a day later it was done and the girl gave me 20% off as a new customer!

Ok, simple stuff. I had them pick up my cleaning and I have several Tommy Bahama shirts in there that need to be dry cleaned. When I got them back, they had been washed! Shrunk and basically ruined a $120 shirt. Never again. Great that they pick up, but this wasn't hard. Follow the instructions. It's a dress/ casual shirt. If I wanted it washed I wouldn't have sent it to Brothers! read more

Friendly and quick. I like getting an email when my order is ready for pick up. There are multiple locations as well.

DON"T TRUST BROTHERS CLEANERS!!! My family has used Brothers Cleaners exclusively for 43 years. Unfortunately this year several experiences lead us to switch to Popes cleaners which we have been thoroughly pleased with since then. I brought my wedding gown to Brothers Cleaners to be cleaned and preserved. They returned it to me with wrinkles and new stains. I drew it to their attention and they send it back to the cleaner who then returned it with the same problems. I went over the details with the owner and we agreed to let the cleaner try one more time. When I received the wedding dress back the third time with wrinkles and stains that were not there when I gave the dress to them the manager and employees at the store agreed that it was in dismal shape that they would not accept themselves. I finally spoke with the owner Tom who wanted me to let the cleaner try again. I said that given my three experiences I did not want to do that and expect a full refund. He granted that. Afterwords I received a shirt back with a new hole in it. I again drew it to the stores attention and they were more than gracious and understanding. They ask for the replacement value which was $165. The store manager called me and with embarrassment And stated that the owner Tom would like to give me only $80 as the shirt had been cleaned by them several times before. I told her at that point that my trust in the company was broken and that I would be switching along with my family to Popes cleaners. I said that if The owner thought that the response of integrity was to give me $80 for shirt they ruined and I would have to replace that, was enough indication to me about the quality of Brothers Cleaners at this time. I spent over three months waiting for the dress to be cleaned and returned with many unkept promises that the owner would call and talk with me. I have always had exceptional service from the people at the N. Hills and Pleasant Valley stores-both managers and employees. However if this is the attitude of the owners of the company, I no longer trust them with my regular clothes much less treasured items. I hope this helps anyone else avoid a similar disappointment and damage to their heirlooms. read more

This place was recommended to me and what a disappointment it was! I had the absolute worst experience I could have had at a dry cleaner. The guy who collected my items was friendly when I dropped off my things, but the service took a dive from there. I brought in six items, a skirt, two pairs of black pants, a pair of champagne colored pants, and two blouses. They told me the items would be ready for pick up after 5pm the next day, which I was pleased with. I went back to retrieve my items and they couldn't locate ANY of them. I saw my champagne pants hanging from a rack in the front with no name tag on them and new stains that they hadn't been brought in with. They said they would redo the pants for free, which is obviously what I would've expected any half way decent business to do. However, they wouldn't be ready for me to pick up until two days later and I was going out of town the next day. So, I stayed there for 30 minutes trying to locate my items and picking them out of bags with other people's stuff in it. They still charged me for everything except the champagne pants that they stained. My total was a whopping $44 dollars- for terrible service, disorganization, and a lot of grief. To top it off the clothes that I did get back still had pills on them even though I specified that I'd like them removed and overall they did a sub par job. I called the day after I picked up my items and tried to reach a manager because I though i was treated unfairly. I left a message after speaking with the man that initially processed my order and no one ever bothered to call me back. The kicker is that this morning I went to get dressed and put on my black pants from the dry cleaner....and they arent mine. So, they gave me someone else's pants. I called this morning and the non nonchalant manager seemed unconcerned and she said "Ill see what the owner can do." Please do yourself a favor and avoid this terrible business. They don't know what they're doing and they are way too expensive to be worth the crap service they provide. After three weeks I'm still trying to sort this problem out. Hopefully, they will refund me but who knows with them. read more

I dropped off 5 different items too Brothers Cleaners a couple of weeks ago. I went to pick up the items 2 days after the expected completion date. 4 items were ready but one item in particular was still not ready even two days after I was guaranteed. It was black and white Banana Republic dress. They said it should just take a couple more days- come to find out the colors had blended and ruined the dress. 1st. They told me they would reimburse me for the full price of the dress $120 dollars via check 2nd. The sales associate called me back to let me know they would write me a check for a 100$ dollars and give me a 20 dollar credit in hopes I would continue to drop off my dry cleaning at Brothers which I will NOT. Note the owner or manager never bothered to call me, it was always the same sales associate delivering the message that was consistently changing. 3rd. Sales associate calls me AGAIN to let me know they are going to try and clean it again but it will be a couple of days. So now I'm not getting reimburses if they somehow fix the damages? 4th. Sales associate calls AGAIN to let me know that this is actually a manufacturing defect from Banana Republic and that I need to call a 1-800 # explain the situation and maybe they will reimburse me or give me store credit? After 3 1/2 weeks and still not having my dress back or any sort of credit for the damages I will NEVER go to Brothers Cleaners again. This is the most unprofessional way to run a business. Would not recommend any going there- and its over priced. read more

Professional and efficient. They do a good job. On the one occasion they lost a shirt, they paid me a fair amount with no debate.

Brother's is great friendly and helpful in the store and with free pickup and delivery. Everything we have had cleaned has been returned in spectacular condition and pressed to perfection. read more

Excellent quality and great customer service. I have had other dry cleaners try to get the yellow stains out of my collars on my white dress shirts and failed. They took care of that without my even saying anything about it. I will use them from now on and recommend them to everyone I know!!! read more

I discovered them after a friend steered me to them. They are the best dry cleaner in Raleigh. I have been using Brothers Cleaners for many years and trust their expertise. I highly recommend them. read more

The North Hills location of Brothers Cleaners has always returned my items in impeccable condition; I never have to worry about my clothes when dropping them off! It's also pretty nice to just drive up and have a professionally dressed employee come out to retrieve your clothes for you; a nice touch if you have kids in the car and don't want the hassle of getting out. read more

I've gone to this Brothers Cleaners a few times. This past experience made me want to write this review. I had a dress shirt that needed dry cleaned and pressed for an event. I explained this to them and was assured that the shirt would be ready the next day. I didn't receive a call so I stopped by. The lady behind the counter checked, went to the back and came back with no shirt. I'm starting to think.....oh no. She couldn't find it and apologized. She said she would look for it and if they couldn't find it then reimburse the cost of the shirt. I left a bit unhappy and just assumed she told me what I wanted to hear so I'd leave. I didn't think she would actually make the effort to look for the shirt. A couple hours later I get a call from the same lady and she had made some calls and found that the shirt was sent to another store. I went back and she gave me my shirt, didn't charge me and gave me a $10off coupon. I cannot say how appreciative I was for her level of service. She actually cared and genuinely felt bad that they had lost my shirt. While it wasn't her fault, for her to go out of her way to look for it was incredible. I didn't get her name but I wish there were more people like her. Service like that makes me go out of my way to recommend them to anyone. read more
