Excellent cleaners and repair. They have repaired clothing in the past and recently repaired and cleaned a bedskirt, comforter, and shams.

Lee's Tailors - Lee's Tailored Custom Sling

Lee's Tailors

(109 reviews)

Lee's Tailors on Western Boulevard is hands-down the best tailoring experience I've had in Raleigh…read more Ping (the owner) is incredible, and Karen and Anna are both wonderful as well. They're all patient, skilled, and genuinely kind. I go in fairly often for tailoring and repairs, and they are always welcoming and willing to listen carefully while I figure out exactly what I want done. Today really stood out. I brought back a pair of pants that had been hemmed and looked great, but just didn't feel comfortable when I wore them. I was worried I was asking too much since I'd already been in a few times about these pants, but Ping couldn't have been more understanding. She insisted on letting them back out while I was there, even though it was near closing time. She also noticed a jacket I had and tightened the buttons on that too--again, on the spot. She was so kind, accommodating, and generous with her time, and she wouldn't even let me pay. That level of care and customer service is rare. Ping truly stands behind her work and wants her customers to be comfortable and happy. If you're looking for expert tailoring with exceptional service, Lee's Tailors is the place. I won't go anywhere else.

We've patronized this business for quite some time and taken the dog inside several times before…read moretoday. My husband is a veteran and has PTSD. The dog was waiting in the car but he took her in to get a drink of water, as we'd done before. She sat quietly by the door with me while he went to fill her water bowl. It was 96°. She is a service dog but we didn't have her correct vest. She had broken the clip. A grumpy old man, the only customer in there, told him they didn't allow dogs. He replied he was just getting her some water and would take her right out. The grumpy old man decided to make a big deal of it and there were words because he's a vet with PTSD and had said he was taking her right back out. The owner got involved and upset me because we said we'd take our business elsewhere. That set him off to the point I had to tell him to stop talking to me, to which he got even ruder and told me to "f*ck off." Terribly rude and unprofessional for a business. It was 96°. There was no notice the dog wasn't allowed inside. We said we'd take her right out. Why was it necessary to treat any customer that way? Why? We will find another veteran-friendly laundromat that doesn't tell a woman to "f*ck off." That is never acceptable.
