cocktails all night + locked out = Broken Garage Door :(…read more Soo...after a night accompanied by Jameson, I tried to open the boo's garage door manually without even thinking about it being connected to the automatic opener. Sunday morning Boo tried to use the automatic opener and the garage wouldn't open so he found that the top panel was dented with a huge gap above the door. *hand over forehead* There was no way at the fun size of 5'2.5" I could have dented the top of the door. Was it the new liquid muscle and powers I acquired from Mr. Jameson a few hours prior? No, couldn't have been. I knew if I hadn't tried to open the garage door manually we wouldn't have had the issue at hand. *Hungover* -- Must...Think...QUICKLY... I sell flooring to Property Management companies and I met a fellow vendor at an industry event from Eagle Garage Door whom was really nice. (I can't recall her name as it was over a year ago...maybe it was Jessie?)...but for some reason, at this very moment I remembered the "Eagle" name. I googled Eagle garage and I made a call at 8:55AM on a Sunday and the kind woman dispatched the tech and said he'd be out the same day and let me know that the tech would call. Tech called literally 5 minutes later and gave me a window of 2 hours. I texted him the address and then he called back saying he'd be there in 30 mins. Tech arrived so quickly and the door was fixed and problem solved by 10AM and Boo was happy. I didn't meet the technician as I let the Boo handle everything once he arrived, I did enough damage. Boo did say that service was exceptional and the tech was extremely proficient, professional and very nice and Boo convinced me to write this review. I wish I knew the tech's name but the only thing I remember was that the Boo said the technician was from Georgia. Please pass along many kudos to this tech and thank you Eagle Garage Door Services for all of your help!

I can understand why this company has many positive reviews, and I am glad others had good…read moreexperiences. Unfortunately, mine was not one of them. I hired them to install a doorbell. Instead of being upfront that this was not within their expertise, they attempted the project anyway. Throughout the process, they repeatedly asked me if I was sure and insisted their way was the only option. In hindsight, it felt less like concern and more like a way to protect themselves so they could later say I gave permission. As a client, I am not the expert, which is why I hired a professional. That approach came across as intimidation rather than guidance. When it became clear the project could not be completed, I was still charged the full price. When I raised my concern, the response was dismissive and delivered in a raised tone of voice. As a young woman alone in that situation, I felt intimidated and taken advantage of. They knew the job had not been completed successfully, yet I was still required to pay in full, which made the experience feel unfair and exploitative. Afterward, I learned the wiring issue could have been solved in a very simple way. Instead, I was left with unnecessary damage, had to clean up the entire mess by myself, and now face additional costs to repair what was left behind. Cleaning up on my own not only made the sting of the experience worse but also felt degrading. I am glad this company may work well for smaller, straightforward projects. However, if your request requires anything more complex, be cautious. Even if the work is not successful, you will still be charged in full. I was hesitant to write this review out of fear of retaliation, but I felt it was important to share my experience in case it helps someone else.

From my 7am call to the fabulous Trey in the customer service line to the on-time arrival and great…read moreservice by Numani, I could not be more pleased with my experience with Overhead Door Company of Washington, DC! My garage door went on the 'fritz' suddenly Sunday late in the day. I was able to disable the door and get it up but was worried something was seriously wrong. Numani came right at 1pm Monday as expected and in less than an hour figured, and solved, the problem: just a faulty wire that cost only a tiny amount plus the very reasonable service fee which covers all maintenance. I also got a new remote for a small fee and it was worth the piece of mind to have one. I would certainly recommend the company to family and friends and to anyone reading this. Numani sure knows his stuff and I can't say enough good things about the warm and funny Trey who make the booking and Q&A part a pleasure. Five stars for sure!

Waste of time. I…read morerequested someone come look at my door to repair/replace and give me a quote. I was explicit in my message that it's not a garage, it's a standing door to a carport. He was scheduled to arrive 8-12. I woke up early on my day off so I could be ready for him. At 12:15 I get a call saying, I'm running late, I'll be there in another 45 min, do you still want me to swing by? When I said yes I got the impression he was hoping I would just cancel and let him off scott-free. 1hr15min after that he finally does arrive. Says a few things, then repeats it several times. Doesn't listen to a word I say. At one point he goes to open the door. Now, it's in need of repair, that's why i called him. When I opened it, I was careful and slow. He just flings it open. Of course that makes it break, and one of the wheels pops out of the track. He sits there shoving on it, trying to force it. I have to tell him three times that a wheel is off before he stops trying to just break my door. When I do, he looks over at one of the wheels that's perfectly fine, pokes it a bit... then goes back to shoving on the door. I literally have to shout before he will stop and look at where I'm pointing at the wheel obviously off the track and he acts like early man discovering fire. He tells me they don't offer warranties on outside doors; there's just no way to have a door outside like this and protect it from the elements. The wires are just going to be damaged from being outside, end of story. He tells me this 3-4 times, that they do outside doors but they don't warranty them. Then he says, I don't think we do outside doors, calls his supervisor, yeah we don't do outside doors. I was very clear in my first message this was an outside door. Six hours of my weekend could have been saved if they'd just told me at the start that they don't do this kind of door before sending someone over to be five hours late, then break my door and be rude. These people don't listen, they will not respect your time, and I imagine they do awful work. I wouldn't recommend them if they offered to work for free.

I would attempt to reach out to, the adjuster Ian Dickens, and ask for updates, and then things went silent. Every few weeks I would call leave voicemails reach out to people who I've had contact with in the beginning trying to get an update as to what's going on, and have been ignored . I've reached out to a Doug Dunbar his assistant Taylor in addition to customer service who never seem to answer the phone I always leave voicemails and no one calls back. finally in January an Anthony Oricchio reached out to me , not because of my complaints but because he wanted me to sign some paperwork so he could take over for Ian, who went MIA. He was extremely helpful, but he could not tell me how to cancel my contract. He gave me an email to contact and assured me someone would get back to me but that has not happened yet. I have called I have sent multiple emails with a no call back. I still have an open file with this company, and I am no longer in need of their service, I am horrified by the lack of professionalism and customer service from this company. They made promises that they could not keep and I feel like I have been scammed. I want to assure that my contract is nullified and any money that was taken from my insurance company is returned for all of this seems like a scam. This company has salesman knocking on your door making promises that no one can keep . They are attentive until they get the money and then they ghost you and then no one gives you a call back and no one answers the phone . This screams SCAM
