Pretty sure these people are just a scam. Took my deposit without telling me that they won't do any work if you don't have a parking space for them, but I live in the city! I mentioned during the consult we don't have parking and I was told it wasn't a problem, but when someone was supposed to come and measure the fence they first just didn't show up at all and the second time they apparently circled the block a few times, gave up, and left without anyone telling me they weren't coming. I wasted so much time waiting around for them. When I tried to get answers on when they would come back, no one could provide me with any information and just said that the measurements didn't matter and the installation could be completed without measurements, which obviously did not make me feel confident they would do a good job with the installation. I asked to speak with a manager, was put on hold forever, and then told no one was available. I'll be doing a charge back on my card for the deposit since they did not deliver on their end in the slightest and I will start the whole process of finding someone to replace my fence over again. Ergeon is the BEST for fencing needs. Carlos our Project Manager kept me up to date each step of the way. When the installation crew arrived, they arrived early and went right to work. They were extremely polite and courteous! Before putting our gate up they asked which way I wanted it to open, then when the work was completed they asked where I would like the dirt put from the post holes. They not only removed their tools, but cleaned up the dirt, moved it to my two flowerbeds, then swept! That's right, swept! Pricing was haggle free, the measurements were done virtually giving me the correct measurements for the quote. They do not run your credit card until AFTER you are pleased with the work. Only after you sign off do you pay!! We just did a remodel of the inside of our home, then had new cement done for our walk and back patio, along with a new deck. I had heard great things about the company reading reviews on-line, and they are all true. Getting the estimate was very easy - we did a "phone" review of the work to be done, and Jorge was able to capture the needed measurements from my camera to do the estimate. My neighbor decided to have her back fence done at the same time, and Ergeon scheduled both jobs for the same day, with no delay in the schedule. Alfredo, the site manager for the work, arrived on time for the scheduled site review (checking for issues, utility lines, etc.). He was also present throughout the day when the fence was installed. To do my fence (approx. 35 ft of fence and a 4 ft. gate) as well as my neighbor's fence (16 ft. of fence with a 4 ft. gate) took 7 hrs. All posts were seated in concrete, and very stable. From the day we signed the contract to the date the work was completed was only 4 weeks. We have been using local fence companies for years and are always blown away by the expense. I feel like we are consistently being taken advantage of. I was in need of a new fence as our wood fence has seen better days. I reached out to one company for an estimate they came out took measurements and never provided an estimate. I did some searching, and I came across Ergeon. I filled out the online form and within a half hour I received a call from Robert to go over the project. Later that day we did a Google Meet call to walk the property and give him a better scope of the work needed. By the end of the day I had my estimate, that I agreed with. Isabel was my project manager and she kept me informed of the next steps leading up to the day of the installation. She was very responsive and communicated the process easily. We are very satisfied with the new fence. Their crew scheduled the work very quickly, arrived even a bit early on the scheduled day, and were very efficient, able to finish in half a day The finished job is a perfect replacement of the old fence but in brand-new condition, which is what we wanted. We had comparison shopped several quotes and Ergeon was far ahead more willing than other contractors we spoke with, to really try to meet our desires and not try to upsell or lead us in a different direction, and transparently shared with us the steps that went into their computer-assisted bidding process which we were able to share in a Zoom meeting online. It was great working with Ergeon from start to finish. I first called to schedule a free estimate but no one could come out until a week later. Their solution? FaceTime right now, which was awesome for my schedule. Next I was able to receive 3 different detailed quotes for 3 different size fences right away. They did it while on FaceTime with me. I received emails every step of the way on what to expect and how the permit was coming along. Fence was installed yesterday. Ergeon subs out their work but that did not affect quality. I was texted by Ergeon yesterday throughout the day about how installation was progressing. Overall things went smoothly despite an afternoon rain storm. Would definitely recommend using Ergeon! So, I ended up not hiring them. Turns out, my neighbor knows this contractor dude who was charging way less. Gotta admit though, their quote process was super easy. They practically called me right away and then set up a video call on Google to check out the fence. At first, I wasn't too sure about it 'cause I'm more old-school and prefer face-to-face meetings for quotes. But the guy was really chill to talk to and he explained everything in a simple way. So yeah, I'd recommend them, at least for getting a quote. Can't say anything about their work or the final outcome though.
