Knowing that the kitchen is the center piece for all houses now, it was very important that we had the perfect one for us. We found that perfect kitchen at Carefree Kitchens. We set an appointment and decided the first seating with our sales person who helped us through the entire process. Then came and installed and the crew showed up the day written on the contract and we could not be happier with the results. He gave pretty comparable pricing and told me I could get a shipment within 3 days. All cabinets would come built and I would just need someone to install it. CON: Well, when I decided to order my cabinets, Bud was on vacation and the other guy couldn't take my order. Then the cabinets took longer than a 3-day delivery because of the day I ended up ordering it on. The cabinets also arrived late on delivery day. Bud told me there was traffic. The guys end up telling me it was because they were short staff. I love honesty....no need to lie. So, my contractors ended up waiting around for 3 hours...not fair to them. PRO: Bud tried to make it up to me. A couple of pieces did not come in and I ended up needing an additional filler that he did not charge me for. I also ended up having to order another filler and that came in a timely manner and I picked it up from their showroom. Overall good experience, just need to tighten up ordering and delivery.

I have never dreamed that this dealer (after hearing marvelous reviews from friends Virginia.) Delivery of our refrigerator was sub par .. they leaked water all over my floors after I suggested I place a pad down.. my bad. The door of the Whirlpool refrigerator had a huge dent in it. The plate at the bottom of the refrigerator was damaged. Replacement parts took three months .. really. After new door replaced by B&S the ice maker stopped working and the refrigerator side of the unit stopped working. Their resolution.. wait two weeks until we they could have their repairmen could come out.. ?? Really?? They scheduled independent certified Whirlpool contractor to come in five days .. yes five days no refrig .. he said the B&S repairman broke the control panel.. snd that he'd be back in a week. Our work was to take everything out of the freezer and refrig for 24 hours, unplug the refrig and let the frost build up drop out of the freezer into our floor. After two days with the most miserable customer service imaginable, we finally got service. I've requested s new unit. I'm thinking they are going to have a kid for that out and I'm not going to be happy. The Annapolis store is the absolute pits. Honestly!!!!

Did not give correct invoices with rebate codes. The first delivery crew was fine. The second was just one male who had no idea what and he was doing, could not get the whole washer hooked up, and hooked things up incorrectly 3 times. Was over a 2 hour process for it to be done wrong and he seemed to be under the influence. Had to call my plumber to get it properly installed.

We first met with the owner, Jim, in…read moreNovember last year with the intent of just getting a price and ultimately hired them to begin work in December to be completed by Christmas. The thing I remember most about that first meeting was the personalized board they had up welcoming me and my spouse (Mr. and Mrs. D) - a really nice touch, albeit slightly incorrect as I was there with my husband, and when we went back to pick out selections they had updated it to be somewhat more accurate (The D. Family). Jim, the owner, was straightforward when we spoke with him and offered a competitive price compared to the other estimates we received. After we accepted the contract, Jim's sister and the company designer, Kim, was particularly patient with us as we spent upwards of two hours picking out the various components for the new bathroom, successfully finding solutions to mediate style disagreements between me and my husband. Overall, we were both very happy with our selections and excited for the new bathroom to be complete. The workers were excellent and displayed great professionalism during the remodel. The work began in early December, but was stalled a little bit due to the cabinet and vanity not arriving in time. The bathroom was functional, though not finished, before the desired Christmas date. It has been three weeks since the job completed and we have been satisfied so far with the bathroom. With the work, there were two (both immediately fixed) problems that stood out: First, the new toilet was installed slightly at an angle. We emailed Cardigan of the problem. When they came out the next time to continue working on the bathroom, the worker immediately saw the toilet was not level, apologized that he didn't catch it when he installed it, and made the toilet level to the floor. Second, when we started using the shower a week after installation, the shower was draining extremely slowly. Again, I emailed and called regarding this issue, and they fixed it that day despite Jim attending a funeral that morning. One of the workers came by that evening with a snake and fixed the problem. I was extremely impressed at their responsiveness. Overall, I am giving five stars due to the personalization, work quality, responsiveness, professionalism of the workers, and our happiness with the final result. When we finally move on to remodeling our kitchen in a few years, we will definitely be looking at Cardigan. The attached pictures include a picture of the shower before the bathroom was painted, and a picture of the other side of the bathroom after all of the work was completed.

The delivery & installation process is absolutely the worst possible. You would think the delivery would be free after you spend $25,000 on a refrigerator, stove and a wall oven; but it's not. Installation of Subzero and Wolfe appliances require precise and one of kind electrical plumbing rough-ins, which Fergurson does not communicate on the phone or early. So you are constantly email this lady who has 0 field experience. She becomes a human emailer of the spec sheets, which different trades can interpret sightly differently. To reconcile the difference by talking with trades, Subzero tech support, and Fergerson is a full time job. The after-sale support is email exclusive and absolutely time waster. Fergerson after-sale support obsoletely will not talk to you; they will only email you dumb things one like the spec sheet and ask you dumb questions on the email. Heather called me after I threatened to cancel the order; but she knows nothing about the fine installation detail, sometimes down to 1/16". She promised that a Subzero rep would call me the same day, nobody called me. So I called Subzero tech support. It takes about 24 full working hours to coordinate the installation of 4 appliances. I come from a engineering background, with 4 years of fix and flip experience. I have never spent so much time on appliance installation. If you buy subzero as a luxury product, and you also value time as the greatest luxury possible, then Fergueson is not for you. Fergerson will rob you of your time!

Heather Watson assisted in the selection of the right faucets, tub, diverters, and miscellaneous plumbing components to make it all work. Being in the contracting line of business I recognize that complex projects can require a significant amount of assistance to make sure they are done properly; Heather nailed it from every aspect from design, pricing, and working through last minute installation issues associated with a custom bath. Dawn Esposito assisted in taking our conceptual drawings of the vanity/cabinetry to a beautiful, yet functional setup that perfectly matched our design. Just as Heather did, Dawn took ownership of the project, worked with me to get exactly what I wanted and got it ready for release from the factory. During installation the few minor questions that surfaced were responded to immediately allowing installation to continue without delay. I would absolutely recommend Ferguson for anyone interested in bringing their dream renovation to life. This is the type of customer service that should be expected and required of all design/suppliers.

After reading reviews on Yelp we decided to go to HB Marble & Granite. As other Yelpers noted, their showroom is not fancy which is fine by me because I don't really want to pay for a fancy schmancy showroom. Huseyin and his son (presumably) were very friendly and let me crawl around their remnants and slabs. When I visited HB Marble & Granite Huseyin was running the wet saw and stopped to help me. I liked that not only does he run his own business but he also has the knowledge to cut stone and willingness to get a little wet and dirty. Although I was hoping to possibly use a remnant for my project in the end I went with a new slab of quartz. The quartz got stuck in the port in New Jersey so my project ended up a little bit delayed but Huseyin was very apologetic and communicative on the issue. I know he was frustrated by the situation too but he did everything he could to get that slab to his shop. And when the slab did arrive, it immediately went on the table for cutting and my countertops were installed hours later! I really admire that Huseyin expedited my job as soon as he had the materials. I was very pleased with the installers. They were friendly and respective of my home. The workmanship was top notch. I've had granite and quartz installed on numerous occasions and I was really impressed with their work and how clean they kept the work area. Overall, my experience with this local, small business was great!

The person who came out and measured told me that I didn't need supports for an additional extention of about 2". in the office Sam said I had to have two supports and they were $500 a piece. I didn't need them and that was a terribly inflated price. Then came the addition of a plumber. I think this should have been covered under the install. I paid him $600 to have a licensed plumber come and unhook sink and stove and then return and turn them back on later in the day. The plumber didn't show up to unhook sink and stove. So the installers had to do that. They weren't happy with that responsibility. A little while later Sam, the scammer showed up. He came to get payment for the plumber- in CASH! When he saw that I had a gas stove, he said "That's not plumbing, you should have told me." I said "of course it is, and you do installs, it was your job to ask." I said, "Since he didn't show up to unhook, I'll only pay you half." He said "Oh no, you are paying me for the job and they did it.". Then he said "Because it's a gas stove, it's $700." I said then just leave it and cancel the plumber. I don't care if it takes weeks before I can get a plumber to hook it back up. I am so done with you. A little while later he said "How about $650." All I wanted was him gone at that point. I finally agreed to get it over with. As the installers were leaving I told them I hoped they would get payment for stove and sink. They said they wouldn't. Sam is not a good person. I would not recommend him at all. Buyer beware!

    I stopped by United Granite for a quote on a countertop for my kitchen renovation. I didn't select…read morethis company to install the Quartz countertop I wanted. But I had a great experience with Hien Tran, a design consultant. He walked me through the store to view the Calacatta Bravo and Calacatta Miraggio. I was initially interested in the Calacatta Luccia, a higher price point. I showed Hien the backsplash I wanted and he suggested the Calacatta Bravo and Calacatta Miraggio these designs would not clash with my backsplash. Hien gave me a quote and a sample piece of the backsplash at no charge. He gave me the estimated installation time which was about 3 - 10 business days. I ended up selecting another vendor because United Granite's prices were $300 more expensive. Again, I had a great experience and wanted to share. I think United Granite should offer quotes online, most vendors I checked offered that service. That way you don't waste anyone's time if their prices were not in my budget.
