Scheduling a review of our garage door requirements and getting an estimate was very quick and easy. Modification to the original request was also easy followed by fast ordering and installation. Our current door was not a true fit for the opening, but Kris fixed it to adapt to the sizing of the new door and it looks like nothing is different. Great workmanship on the install. Charles and Kris worked very well together to make getting a new garage door installed for us a pleasant experience. True professionals! We really like the look and workings of the product we purchased with a warranty we can live with. We like supporting local family owned businesses when we can. Thanks Charles & Kris read more

Had to order new garage doors and openers in cold weather. The guys showed up on time, got the job done in a couple hours and explained the new system. The doors look great, everything works and I'm happy with the result. Btw, they recommended using surge protectors on these new openers, which is an excellent idea. read more

My garage door stopped working and called out to several garage door repair companies. Eastern was the first to respond and the only to offer a cost effective solution and one that demonstrated a knowledge of garage doors and their mechanics. Brandon, Eastern's technician, showed up on time and got right to work fixing my garage door. Door works great and is in better condition thanks to Brandon. I would highly recommend Eastern Overhead Doors. PS: I had a minor issue with the flashing installed and Overhead sent Brandon back the very next day to address issue. Very responsive and customer centric. read more

Eastern Overhead Door had to clean up a mess caused by another garage door company (Carl's Overhead Door). Scheduling an estimate was a breeze. Charles came out the next day. He assessed the situation, explained what the job would entail and gave me a ballpark estimate. He was polite, knowledgeable and fair. He sent a written estimate shortly thereafter. I accepted the estimate and we scheduled the job. Kris came a few days later to replace the torsion assembly and weather stripping. He worked efficiently and effectively. He was kind, polite and good at his job. No one is happy when they suddenly have a $600 repair, but this company made it much more pleasant. I can't think of a single thing that was lacking or that I would change. This is the company you want at your home! read more

Very efficient, response time for a return phone call was in a matter of 15 minutes. I would highly recommend this company and definitely will use them again if the need arises. Very impressed with their website and their use of technology to keep you informed. read more

Great work, very professional, helpful, and easy to work with! We recently had one of our automated garage doors irreparably break and were looking for replacement options. As the doors were older, I was unsure if we could replace just the broken panel, or need to replace the whole door (and if it would match our second existing door). Charles and Kris were exceptionally helpful, coming out to take a look and offer a range of options and prices. I opted to replace the whole door, and they were very communicative in scheduling the install, putting in the new door, and making sure everything was working well. read more

These nice folks at eastern overhead door installed a new, complete garage door for a fraction of the price that was quoted by another larger installer. The whole process from the estimate to the installation could not have been easier for my wife and I. I live in a neighborhood with an HOA, so the garage needs to look the same as all of my neighbors. They found that my door isn't manufactured anymore without paying a ton, but they found almost the exact thing in a newer variant. It's almost indistinguishable. I would absolutely recommend this company. read more

Top notch all around! My wife and I are fortunate enough to have a 2 car garage, but we had two standard doors that didn't allow much clearance with our SUVs. And since it's such a shallow garage, once you're in, there's no room to adjust how you're able to position the car. Total pain if you're ever trying to clean much less work on a car. We had a pipe dream to convert the two doors into a single garage door without the center beam. That's when Eastern Overhead stepped in absolutely nailed it! First, communication. Unlike other contractors we've dealt with, you're never left wondering where you stand throughout the whole process. From the moment you talk to Charles to the time it's all wrapped up, there's no guessing. And as for Charles, not sure you could find a better face to a family business. Super courteous and accommodating in every step. Once we agreed, (very, very fair price too!), Charles had a custom door on order and we were underway. Scott & Brandon arrived first and literally removed the two doors in the time it took for me to get a cup of coffee. Not HGTV "bash it out style" either. Like some sort of door ninjas or something. Then the framer arrived, (HUGE shout out to Bill and his team for their amazing work. I'm convinced they could frame out an entire house in a day with every intersection perfectly square!). Once the frames were in place, Scott and Brandon installed the beast of a door, programmed the remotes, and showed me a few things for keeping this in tip top shape for a long time. One thing to note: during the install, there was a slight dent on one of the panels about the size of a golf ball. I didn't notice it at all but they pointed it out and followed up with a new section. That's amazing! Overall, we couldn't be happier. There's so much nickeling-and-diming with certain projects. And I get some things come up. But nothing here. Heck, Bill even put up new siding and fixed an old broken light on the front of the garage. Really? I feel super fortunate we received a great price, got everything we wanted (and more!), and were able to work with a business that's personable in every aspect. I get our project might be a little more involved than others, but I'd never hesitate to recommend what feels like a true throwback company. Thank you guys for everything! read more

I had a great experience with Eastern overhead doors! They called me back the same day I needed service and we scheduled for a consultation the next day. I bought an older home and the 2 garage door systems had been replaced at different times, so they fixed everything that was old and busted. Would highly recommend read more

These guys were great! Can I give them 6 stars instead? I had called another garage door company for a keypad install before I called Eastern. Their quote was $30 more and couldn't come out for a few days. Eastern had someone in the area and I had my keypad installed in less than an hour after I called. The office guy who gave me the quote was friendly and the installer was a joy. I won't use anyone else going forward! read more

Requested a 5 ft door for easy access in my shed, lawn tractor and bikes. Owner quoted price for custom order door and install. Quick turn around and seamless install. Suggested two key fob remotes for ease of use on tractor and bikes. Great suggestion! Professional, prompt service with thorough clean up by employees. Recommended to family and friends. Great job! read more

My garage door springs snapped, and I didn't know what to do. I went and search for the part at my local hardware store but they said they don't sell this part, and you should never service this sort of work yourself, as it's very dangerous. People have lost fingers, hands and even lives! That's where I found Eastern Overhead Door for Residential and Commercial and local. Jack the owner came out himself. A family owned and operated company for over 30 years! He was fantastic, down to earth, very knowledgeable and friendly. Wow, what a great find! He had everything he needed right there to do the work. The price was perfect, and was a great find! If you're having any type of garage door issue, call Eastern Overhead Door you will not be sorry!!! read more

Great from start to finish. Came out for quote & emailed it to me. Price was 1/2 of competition. Work was scheduled & confirmed day before. Charles was on time & was excellent. He even resecured the trim around my garage. Great work. Highly recommended. read more

Called this morning, (after the massive snow storm the past 2 days). Our door able and springs were broken, preventing the door from opening. They came out in the unfavorable road conditions and had all the right parts to complete the job today. Learned a few things about door opening mechanism's. Not only does the door open now it opens MUCH smoother and easier. Good work, thanks Guys!! read more
