This relates to what comes across as current communication issues. And if I come to Yelp and highlight the good, it is only fair to also highlight when an experience with a company... is not good. I do not have a problem with a business being busy. That is a good problem for a business to have. My issue comes, when instead of saying you are busy, the business continually makes appts or followups they do not keep. At that point you do something I have a problem with, you waste the one thing none of us can afford to waste, you waste time. In this case you waste my time and that, especially when you do it repeatedly, I find annoying and unprofessional. If you can't do a job, say that, I am happy to give business to others. And it is preferable to over-promising and under-delivering. Will not belabor the point, that is my most recent experience. And hopefully this review saves you... time. Thanks.

They closed all the holes in the walls (no more air coming in) where the old convectors were located; they repaired the flooring so that it looked seamless; and they installed baseboards to mask the gaps left by the new convectors, which were a slightly different size than the previous ones. (The convectors were installed by a different company, so they coordinated with them nicely). They also installed a brand-new lighting fixture on the bedroom ceiling (lots of concrete drilling involved), hung a metal shelf in the bathroom, and closed all the holes in the kitchen left by the previous contractor when the kitchen was remodeled. No more mice! Wonderful service, punctual, and would happily call again for anything else I may need.

Then there was an issue when he turned something off in messages on his phone and said he didn't get days of messages from me, leading to a second no-call, no-show. He took absolutely no responsibility for anything, you know one of those guys who is constantly screwing up but nothing is ever his fault? He often told me how great of a communicator he is, while not communicating with me at all. I was fed up by now and cancelled anything I hadn't already paid for. It's now been a month since he was supposed to cut a screen for me, that I already paid for, and I'm sure I'll never see that. He's totally unserious, unreliable, untrustworthy, and unbelievably slow, if not vindictive in not following through on a pre-paid job for someone who doesn't want to work with him. When I started calling handymen & contractors in the area a lot of them never bothered to return messages, or would promise me a quote and then disappear. Bryce answered my call, was able to make a prompt appointment and showed up as promised. Everything he has done for us looks good and when there was an issue with part of one job he quickly showed up and fixed the problem. He's also honest when some repairs require someone with a more specialized skillset. When he discovered some issues with our brick walls he didn't hesitate to tell me that this was something that required a mason, so it's good to know he won't half-ass a job that's outside of what he normally does.
