Excellent job! We needed 10-12 jobs done today at our home and he was very friendly and easy to talk to. He completed all of the requested jobs in a very short amount of time (in about 4-5 hours) and he was able to do each job with the amount of care and dedication needed!!! I will definitely be requesting services again from Clin Handyman when needed. I highly recommend!! read more

Reliable, high-quality work with great communication -- I've now used this handyman twice and will keep coming back. My first experience was a door installation that turned out to be a surprisingly tricky job, but he worked diligently to figure out a way to make it work. I recently called him for a siding repair as well. Both times I got a quick appointment with him showing up exactly when he said he would. Will definitely be calling him again. read more

Very responsive, did a really good job replacing/repairing window trim, reasonable price, overall a good experience

Provided an estimate online. After site visit increased the price 4.5 times when I asked to do some minor additional work. Didn't respond to my request to drop the additional work and to do the work that we had discussed online. read more

We needed our wooden porch steps repaired. I called Clin for an estimate and he came by the same day. He explained the nature of the work needed and gave me a fair price. I also needed a repair to the concrete floor in my garage and Clin inspected it and said he could fix it as well. He was able to schedule the repairs for the following week. He and his coworker did a great job with the repairs. I found Clin a great person to work with because of his excellent communication skills and his making customer satisfaction a priority. We plan to use Clin for any future handyman jobs. read more

Clin handled painting and minor handyman work at our family's unoccupied condominium that I manage from another state. I chose Chin based on Yelp reviews and his A+ Better Business ranking. Trust was important since I never personally saw his work although I did have someone to verify. I could not be happier. His price was also competitive and affordable. Thank you Chin! read more

Clin is absolutely amazing! He's very friendly, easy to communicate with and is fair with this pricing. Called Clin in a panic over previous deck lattice work done by a "not so knowledgeable" contractor. Clin came out the next day and provided an estimate. I am so pleased with the outcome. Now the lattice install under my deck looks completely professional and is done properly. The price was fair for the work performed. Workers were professional and fast. I will definitely use Clin Handyman again for other projects. Don't hesitate to hire these guys. read more

I highly recommend Clin. He did an amazing job on a variety of jobs around our townhouse. We needed a bunch of different work - sealing/caulking; painting; drywall repair; trim work; install work (doorbell, lights, etc.). He did both interior and exterior work, all of which was well done, quickly completed on time and he left the space clean and clear. We would hire him again and would recommend him to anyone with any work around your home. read more

Great work, reasonable in terms of pricing and would gladly use his services again. Clin did a patch and paint job and what was noticeable in particular was his honesty about the scope of the work from the start, unlike some other bidders who did everything to obviously and artificially stretch out a small job by several days just to raise the price. read more

I had a wood trellis on a townhouse with 7 boards and a cross beam that needed replacement. Clin seemed to be experienced and knew what he was talking about. Clin was so wonderful that we are looking for more things to have him do!! He came over quickly and gave us a very reasonable estimate, let us know when he could start the job and was very friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful. When further complications arose he was able to pivot and deal with them expertly. He was very respectful of our property and our time, always emailing or texting when they were coming or leaving and when they would be back. He did some heavy exterior house repairs for us and took extra care to protect our beloved fruit trees and berry bushes from any harm during the process. He cleaned up from his job and also some of our mess as well, but made sure it was OK with us before doing anything. Clin goes above and beyond!! read more

Hoclin did a great job installing my touch-less kitchen faucet and went above and beyond to insure a proper install. Responded immediately to my inquiry and installed the same day. Used his own screws to insure my cabinetry wouldn't get damaged by the nails included in the faucet package. He also ran to home depot and quickly bought a needed part for the install. Will request his services for future projects. read more

Clin just replaced the lock on my front door. He was was responsive, friendly, professional, and easy to work with. His pricing was lower than other options and he was up-front and clear about pricing from the beginning - no surprises. Beforehand, he also sent me a picture of the exact lock he planned to use, which I appreciated. The morning of our appointment, he reached out to confirm, showed up exactly when he said he would, and did a great job. I would be happy to work with him again anytime. read more

My go to guy for all my housing projects from now on. Quick response, fair pricing, and most important of all, does really great work. Clin helped me renovate my rental home quickly. Projects: changing bathroom faucet, restored bathroom shower, changed shower arm, valve, spray, deck, restored my siding from storm, dishwasher leak repair, and install additional outlet. For things he can't do, he knows people who can do it and really became my one stop shop. He always cleans up after every job. Pictures speak a thousand word. See my pictures! read more

I was looking to replace an old deck on the back of my house, so I priced several vendors through Yelp. All vendors seemed quality oriented, but Clin Handyman came in at a more competitive price. I could not be happier with the results. Clin and his team came out and completed the project in 2 days (through some bad weather as well). Clin was always gracious in answering my questions, and he devised a plan for the new deck that was above and beyond what I had asked for. They made adjustments as needed on the fly to ensure the deck was tops in quality and usability. I appreciate the attention to detail and the quality craftsmanship. Thanks Clin and Team! read more

Clin is excellent to work with, he is very professional and he got an amazing crew that makes any job easy. He finished part of my basement and his work was top, his attention to details is excellent, and he ensures all my requests are fulfilled. Contrary to many other contractors in this construction field, Clin does not cut corners. He verifies and checks every step before moving to the next step, framing, drywalls, sanding, painting, and final finishing. When closing the task, he walked with me to see if there are any areas that need additional details. I'm really happy with the services provided and already planning my next project with Clin!! read more

Been using Hoclin and his team for my rental and primary property throughout Montgomery County. He's always been responsive, available quickly, provides fair pricing, and executes on all the jobs I have him work on. First I just want to say, there's a lot of five star companies out here on Yelp. A lot of them are so good that when you contact them, they're too busy to help you. I've run into that several times. CLin is nothing like that. He's the real deal a truly stellar man than runs an amazing business. His crew treated our home like it was theirs. They were friendly, professional and did a great job in a small remodeling job that no one else would touch. Mainly because it was too small. In fact a company on here I previously gave a five star review to, might need to be changed. CLin thank you and thank you to Luis and Adam. We look forward working with you in the future! read more

Clin is absolutely my go to for general home repair. His team offers many more services though. This is a bit dated admittedly, but I had him replace the door frame to the entrance of my home and install a screen door. I could not be happier with the service I received. He's extremely responsive and available to answer any questions. read more

Reached out several times requesting an estimate, sent pictures of the work I needed done and he just, as the kids say, ghosted me. I first reach out on 3/11 and despite numerous attempts and voice mails I simply got no real response, just a generic, 'send me your address' or 'ill take a look'. At one point on the 19th he said he would stop by and take a look. Again, no response. And even if he's busy, which I get, it doesn't take much to communicate. Even if one can't or wont do a job, its easy to say so. Another contractor flat out told me they don't do small projects, an honest response i can respect. Good luck getting a second call back from this guy... TLDR: no call, no show read more

Clin Handyman did an outstanding job for us. They just finished completely transforming the look of our porch after power washing painting, replacing wood rot, etc. Clin and his staff are super easy to work with - responsive, thorough, professional. Everything you would want in a handyman service. Plus, he does not try to upsell much. I really appreciate. His pricing is very competitive. Already have plans for Clin to do some more outside stuff in the next couple months. I will refer them over and over to family and friends. read more

Clin and his crew are among the best two or three expenditures I've ever done for home services of any kind. We had a massive project for him - we had to refurbish a good deal of my mom's house last fall after she passed and we (kids) inherited her estate. It was in somewhat bad shape due to her age and inability to keep up on maintenance. This project involved much more than a simple house call - it was essentially an entire house upgrade. It involved almost everything you could think of with such a project - painting, light carpentry, flooring, light electrical, concrete restoration, drywall, even a bit of roof repair, etc. It was done over about 5 weekends, only(!!) 7-8 total days for all of it! I chose Clin mostly due to his prompt response and his interest in my project (he swung around after his normal hours to take a look at the house on his own time). Eventually, although he already had a lot of work on his calendar, we were able to work out a weekends deal over four weeks. It was amazing the amount of work he and his several crew were able to accomplish in only two days at a time! This project is too extensive to detail here, but I'll sum the experience up in a few points: First, Clin himself is very sharp, polite, and intuitive... he communicates very well with the customer and you get a sense of he really thinks about your project and takes pride in it. These guys are as far as you can get from "just do the work and get paid." They returned a few times on their own to make sure something was perfectly fixed. And it usually was. Second, Clin's crew themselves are all each incredibly skilled - any of them could lead a business themselves, but as this is part family and part friends, they work together, get along well, and are amazing in what each can do. One of his guys (brother-in-law I think) is one of the most skilled craftsman I've seen - he did a lot of roofing work, and identified a very difficult to spot roof problem that even a few roofers missed. His drywall work was excellent (see photos). Anyway, all of them were polite, great, down-to-earth, and very easy to talk to and work with. What a great crew! Third, I liked Clin's project/payment setup - he has an online service and you can pay electronically (cc or e-check). No writing archaic checks (although you can!). Clin is kind of a "new generation" of contractors, computer savvy and great at getting back to you quickly. Payments and communications were very easy with text, e-mail, and his payment system. Finally, these guys mentioned a number of times they take pride in their work and want to satisfy the customer. When there were snags (on a project this size there were bound to be), Clin and his guys went overboard, even if they had to drop off of other projects, to fix them. It was altogether a terrific experience. I would put Clin's service in about the midrange or a bit lower costwise... but he's about as inexpensive as you can get without resorting to fly-by-night shoddy workers, and there definitely are guys who charge a lot more. As I said, Clin is among the best 2 or 3 people I've ever contracted with, and I'm old enough to have done so with a lot of people! I cannot recommend him highly enough, whether it's a "quick fix" errand-type project or essentially a whole house refurbish. I am convinced that, although there are probably a few guys around the city who are just as good, Clin was by far the perfect choice for my project, and anyone else would at their best have done as well, but not better. I picked in my opinion the best crew in the D.C. area. See pictures of some of the aspects of their work. I would not sit here and write such a long, good review if I didn't mean it - I only do reviews for exceptionally bad or exceptionally good experiences. Clin's work on this project was among the best. Get them, you will be more than happy I would wager! read more

Clin was amazing to work with. His employees did an excellent job at painting our master bedroom, bathrooms and a wall in the living room. Clin picked up our specific paint we requested and he paint matched our living room color. The paint match looks perfect. And it was so nice that he picked up the paint for us. He responded promptly to our request, had our estimate done quickly and completed the job in a timely manner. His employees were very careful in our house and made sure to put a protective runner from the front door, up the stairs and to the rooms. They were very detailed and careful with the paint. We were very pleased with their work! He was easy to work with and very professional. I would definitely use them again! read more
