This is my second review for this place and it's just THAT good! The food tastes amazing, obviously, my mom and I have very lame tastebuds and we're from El Salvador so this is our first time trying lasagna (that wasn't some processed/frozen stuff) and it was amazing! The people here are the kindest and most sweetest people ever, literally couldn't have had better service. They could've set my order on fire and I still would've thought they were the nicest people on earth. The overall place is very nice, cozy seating and good music. My total for everting was about 48 which to me, as someone who does NOT go to restaurants, it is well worth it. read more

Delicious sandwiches and suppli! Crafted my own sandwich with mortadella and artichoke with mozzarella and it was amazing. The bread and mozzarella were made fresh in house. Tasted like sandwiches I had in Rome. The suppli (think arancini/ rice balls) were perfectly crispy outside and soft inside. read more

I had a zazzone sandwich...and once again my mouth is watering just thinking about it. Delicious home made bread and Italian sausage, smothered in cheese and peppers. O dios mio! My husband had the lasagna, which he snarfed down without offering me a bite, so I'll assume it was just as good. And the pastries we had for dessert... ODM, again! Yeah, the mother/daughter team are still working out a few kinks in their operation, but who cares when the food is so good? I love their selection of Sicilian sodas, too. Brave, ragazze! A nice new addition to the neighborhood. The menu has serious interest in Italian dishes from Rome which are eaten for breakfast, lunch and snacks and desserts. The expresso is some of the best we've had and the pastries are equally delightful, the apricot filled cornett (aka croissant in France) was particularly good. There are a number of fresh made pastas, flat bread "pizzas" and such for lunch. There are also some dry goods to take and make at home as well. We will be back to sample more. read more

Delizie Romane Bakery is a delightful and delicious addition to Pasadena's food landscape. Located at the corner of Villa and Allen in Northeast part of the city, this family run bakery ioffers delicious focaccia and pastries. I recently had a Bomba filled with pistachio cream that was mind boggling good. It had a doughnut like quality and the cream was luscious with a nut forward flavor that was on point. There pizza dough is made using three different flours that gives it softness and chew that makes you yearn for more ( same is true for the focaccia, although the dough is different from that used for pizza). The toppings for pizza's are simple and fresh. In fact it is the simplicity of the cooking and baking at Delizie Romane ( the dedication to time worn shared family cultural food traditions) that makes what they produce so impressive. I highly unequivocally recommend Delizie Romane. It is a welcoming neighborhood place that will leave you smiling and wanting more! read more

This is an Italian family owned and operated cafe with authentic pastries and food homemade by the Mother. I used to live in Italy and this is just like Rome! The coffees are prepared exactly like in Italy where they pour the milk in just a little at a time which gives it a whole different taste and texture. I cannot recommend this place enough To the person who gave them 1 star and compared them to Costco because of your 2g2g experience, there is a place on that app for your review, not here. I discovered Delizie Romane just recently and have been there twice. The fiest time I ordered the simple sauce with spaghetti and today I had the vegetarian sandwich on homemade bread. Both were outstanding in taste and quality. They also stock a small grocery with various pastas and other Italian goodies. Oh, and don't forget the pastries, including my favorite homemade tiramisu. The pizza is outstanding. I think one of my favorites was a pesto based pizza with tiny burrata puffs and greens. They also have an excellent pizza with prosciutto and cheese and a lovely roasted pork pizza. The crust is thick and chewy, quite good, though thin crispy crust fans will need to look elsewhere. I was warmly greeted when I walked in and the array of breads and desserts really caught my eye, I only came for the focaccia since I've been craving it a lot lately and found this place close by to my school on Yelp, but I definitely want to come back and check out the rest of their menu here, especially the pasta. I was so excited to see this Italian cafe move into the neighborhood! We were greeted by Jessica when we entered and she was happy to explain all the pastries to us. We ended up enjoying fresh out of the oven focaccia and a warm custard filled cannolo! We also tried a couple of other yummy pastries, paired with a hot chocolate for the little one and lattes for the adults.
