Ok. Let's start this off by saying I LOVE croissants. I love them so much that when I type "cro" my iPhones autocorrect already knows to make it croissant. Get out of here crowbar! You don't have any place on my autocomplete choices. Anyways, back to the review. I love them. Chocolate. Strawberry. Plain. Throw them into a waffle maker and make a croissanffle. I wanna try them all. Conclusion, this place has amazing croissants! I got the raspberry one and the reg one. I would've gotten the chocolate ones but I had gone around 3pm and they were already out. They were large. They were just the right amount of buttery. They were flaky. I was supposed to save one for later but I didn't. I ate them both right away. No regrets. You won't have them either. Just do it. Next time I want to try their cakes and the chocolate croissant. I'll be back soon delight. read more

This is an amazing bakery and fairly new in town having opened in May. We were warmly greeted when we walked in and ended up sitting down for some afternoon treats. chocolate croissant which was flakey, buttery and just amazing until the end where i felt saddened that it was all gone. The coffee was mild and very fresh and my wife had the tropical mousse tart? it had a smooth center filled with plenty of flavor. how good was it? we bought a tiramisu and a dark chocolate mousse plus some macrons to take home can't wait to head back out there again read more

I ordered some croissants via DoorDash - let me tell you, these croissants were delicious. I had seen a few clips on Tiktok about them but the hype was real. The plain croissant was flaky and delicious; the almond croissant had just the right sweetness; the ham and cheese was really good; and the STAR of the show - the pistachio and match croissant. You can't find pastries like this at just any bakery . Very beautiful elegant presentation, decoration and taste on almost everything we got . We went here for Valentine's Day and got their chocolate mousse cake , rose shaped cake , raspberry mousse cake , rose lychee croissant , and the spiral standing croissant that had some kind raspberry cheese filling (the only thing we didn't care for because the filling was kind of sour and lacking sweetness /flavor) . Our favorite thing hands down was the pink rose shaped cake which most likely was a special for Valentine's Day and I hope they make it a permanent item. The shop is modern and cute and the blonde cashier girl was very friendly , and cheerful and they are lucky to have her as an employee. she seemed to be excited to work here and radiate happiness and made us feel very welcome and ever more so to eat the pastries . read more

What a delight to find! We put together a box to take home and share and we will absolutely visit again when in the area. The quality of the pastries were exquisite! A great crunch followed by a soft "bready" center. We could not give 5 stars as the almond croissants were a let down, the paste tasted nothing like almond and dripped out like honey. read more

Visited the store on a Wednesday early morning and all I can say is that I was pretty impressed with the service, coffee and food. The tall brown haired girl was super friendly and she recommended the almond croissant and the christmas raspberry which were both delicious and full of flavor. The coffee was exceptional as well. I ordered a cappuccino with cinnamon on top and all i can say is that it hit right the spot. Definitely will be coming back to try more pastries and coffee. read more

While walking down Pasadena we walked in instantly all eyes were on us and the pressure was on to purchase something. I ended up getting a carrot cake for $8.50 and it was a total waste of money. Had a single bite. Frosting had a gelatin like texture. Cake was thin and dry. Definitely a disappointment. Packaging box was dirty and unprofessional. I was visiting from out of town and was excited to see this place was near my hotel in Pasadena. Because I had some business meetings in the morning, I got there early when they opened at 8 a.m. so that I could try their wheel croissants to start my day. I arrived 10 minutes after they opened, and there was just a guy behind the counter putting out the freshly baked goods. I looked around the counter and everything looked so pretty so I was excited to try a few things. I saw the infamous wheel croissants but there weren't any signs so I didn't know what the flavors were. I asked the guy who was putting out the pastries what they flavors were, and the first thing he said to me was "we're not even open yet." Technically, they were opened or else how would I have walked through the doors. But it wasn't just his comment, it was his attitude, which was like I was imposing on his day. He then told me in a scoff that they were pistachios and chocolate. And then I just picked up my things and walked out the door. Even if they were better than Lady M, I don't think I would enjoy it in that environment. read more

Delight emerged more than two decades ago abroad. Now, our Pasadena location is our second in California with our first having opened in 2018. Accross our bakeries, the one thing that has remained entirely consistent is our devotion to quality. Most of our offerings are made with organic and locally sourced ingredients. The service is decent. The store seems clean. On the weekends, there probably would be lines but on weekdays they are less busy. I personally would not choose to wait in long lines for this. I was pleasantly surprised and thankful that the salsa for the chilaquiles came on the side and though the waffle wasn't as crispy as I thought it would be, it was thick and fluffy and tasted great with the toppings. Their menu includes: breakfast burrito, egg croissants, ham & cheese Croissant, breakfast bagels, salmon scrambled, breakfast sandwiches, Chilaquiles, different types of waffles, pancakes, oatmeal, wraps, salads, vegan options, and more. They have a special menu for kids. In addition, they have fresh drinks, smoothies, lemonades, ice tea, latte, variety of coffee options ,and shakes. I got their chicken sausage burrito. The food was delicious and the portion was huge. My friend ordered a matcha latte and Huevos A La Mexicana. It had scrambled eggs, tomatoes, onion, with sides of potatoes and bread. We both enjoyed our breakfast. The service was very fast. The staff were nice and welcoming. It is a nice cafe to stop by and have a delicious breakfast or lunch. Would definitely come back!

Delight Pastry is a picturesque pastry shop located in Old Town Pasadena. However, a major downside is the lack of street parking. The nearest parking option is the One Colorado Garage, which has a flat rate of $11 all day on weekends and after 5pm on Fridays. It's pretty expensive for parking, so I'd recommend carpooling if you can. The ambiance inside is stunning--perfect for Instagram! The marble accents and floral decor give it an elegant and artistic feel, and the pastries themselves look like little works of art. The staff was friendly and provided some recommendations when I asked, which I appreciated. Here's what I tried: 1) Rose Lychee Croissant ($6.50) - Visually, this was a standout with its pretty pink color and flaky texture. Unfortunately, the flavors didn't live up to expectations. The rose and lychee notes were barely noticeable, and the jam inside was dry with a strong almond extract flavor that overpowered everything else. Disappointing overall, I'd recommend getting a different croissant. 2) Lavender Honeymoon Cake ($8.50) - The presentation was gorgeous, with a glazed top and berries peeking through the cream. The staff described it as "light," but I didn't find that to be the case. The cream was tasty, but the sponge cake was rough and felt stale, which detracted from the experience. The overall flavor was floral. 3) Fruit Tart ($7.50) - This was my favorite of the three. The cream was delicious. It's worth noting that it only came with strawberries, so it didn't feel like a true "fruit" tart. Overall, Delight Pastry offers a stunning environment with some beautifully crafted desserts, but the flavors and textures left me wanting more. I visited Delight Pastry and unfortunately it wasn't my favorite experience. The croissants were too sweet and quite oily for my taste. The coffee also didn't really taste like coffee -- it was very milky and the flavor was too light. The place itself is nice, but the pastries and coffee were not what I expected. read more
