At Delight Pastry .... wow. The smoked salmon croissant stopped me in my tracks.. flaky, buttery layers topped with delicate smoked salmon, fresh dill, pickled onion, and a cloud of whipped cream that somehow ties it all together. Savory, bright, and balanced in that effortless way that makes you pause after the first bite. The salad was crisp and refreshing, a perfect counterpoint, and the cold oat-milk latte was smooth and well pulled.. The kind of drink that quietly tells you they care about the details. The place was super clean with a lot of comfortable seating.. A Simple lunch, done exceptionally well. Perhaps perfection.

Delight Pastry comes to my rescue! I forgot to get a cake for my birthday and they had same day pick up options of their 3 best selling cakes. I went with Berry Delight which I didn't expect to like as much as I did: my guests loved the frosting (and this is a group that prefers less sweet desserts) and I found the vanilla cake to be perfect. Delight always has a special place in my heart!

Lots of pastries to choose from

Cute pastry spot in old town Pasadena. Upbeat music played in the background. Service was great, very friendly staff. I ordered the mango delight; the center of it was filled with chucks of mango, very yummy, a little too sweet for me but still good. The outer layer was crunchy and thin, like mango chocolate. Love the different textures when biting into it. Ordered Napoleon for my mom and the chocolate heaven for my daughter. Lots of options to choose from. Also got their Nutella croissant and ham and cheese croissant for breakfast hehe

Was craving the raspberry croissant so I went to get this! Small quaint cute coffee shop with plenty of seating. The service was efficient: prepare and ask for what I was looking for then pursue to box them bag the items: matcha pistachio and raspberry croissants. Got what I needed in 10 minutes. Thanks

Really pretty and tasty cake, perfect for Valentine's Day. Service is nice, the lady is really sweet and attentive

TLDR: freshly made croissants priced around $6-8. Some hits and misses depending on what you order -- the matcha pistachio croissant is a standout, while the Nutella and tiramisu lean too sweet or pricey, limited street parking We went on a Monday midmorning and happy to find only a short line. Everything is made in-house, and the croissants are large and look beautiful in the display case. Prices are on the higher end for pastries ($6-8), but maybe that's the norm? The Nutella croissant was too sweet for me (3.5/5), though my husband enjoyed it, highly recommend to warm it up so it's crispy and soft. The matcha pistachio croissant, fresh out of the oven, was easily the best one we tried (4/5): buttery, flaky, and not overly sweet. I just wish it had a stronger matcha flavor since it leaned more pistachio-almond than matcha. The tiramisu wasn't worth it, small portion, not the most appealing presentation, and almost $10, which felt steep. The pistachio spiral croissant was tasty but dense and heavy, best shared and reheated for the right texture. Service was quick and friendly, and while parking is limited to street spots or parking structure across the street, it's a decent spot to grab a treat if you're in the area.

There loads of structure and street parking to walk here. The inside is clean and low volume. It's a good place to hangout with friends. The staff are nice and friendly. I've tried the pastries here a few times. It has always been good. I do like their flavor options, especially lychee. The lychee raspberry tart was delicious. Not too sweet and you get both soft/creamy texture along with the crunchy crust. I haven't tried the sandwiches yet but I'd like to someday. The prices are a bit high, but it's worth a chance.

So yummy!! I came to pick up a cake - which I highly recommend - and grab a bite to eat for lunch. Great food and super delicious. I ordered the Caprese which was served with a small salad. The focaccia bread was crisp and soft. The tomatoes, basil and fresh mozzarella was excellent. The sandwich has a pesto spread that reminded me of a Caprese sandwich I ordered back when Louise's trattoria was still in Old Pasadena. The location is perfect right on the corner and walkable from local offices on the area. They have a very nice and clean café. The staff is sweet too. They are very helpful to offer advice on what you maybe interested in ordering. Seems like they have a following as a few customers came in for a coffee and goodies.

Saw this on my Maps and was very intrigued, so I had to stop by! It's a little hidden but the inside is very cute and leaning on a girly aesthetic. There was still quite a bit of pastries even around 1:30pm. I got a regular croissant, matcha pistacho croissant, and raspberry croissant. Total came out to around 15 or so? I asked for the regular croissant to warmed up--took 3 minutes, but it was very good! I felt indifferent about the matcha pistachio croissant. However, my coworkers got some macaroons and enjoyed them!

This one is a tough one to write. I had such high hopes for this place by scrolling through Yelp and Instagram, and I made sure to make this one of my stops after the 8 hour trip to the greater LA area. So to start off, my family and I got here at 8:30 in the morning, 30 minutes after they open. We were on a tight schedule and just passing through, so the plan was to try some beautiful looking pastries then continue on our journey. When we first walked in what was immediately apparent was that no preparation was done to actually have the store ready for customers, even 30 minutes after opening, it's not like we were knocking on the door at 8am. The selection was quite depressing, the cases were 80% still empty, none of the chocolate dipped options were out, and not a single spiral croissant, which is really why we made the stop. Then on the service, the younger woman working the register was absolutely not friendly, she seemed annoyed with us being there that early as she was still trying to prep the case herself. I get that and we were patient as well and let her finish what she was doing. I asked about if there's any spiral croissants getting put out, she told us those aren't available till 9:30 or 10.... That's just bad business honestly, you should be ready for your customers when you open, I've never worked at any Business in my life to where you get to show up at the exact same time as opening and set the store up with customers already trying to buy your product. But again, I'm a pretty patient person, so I kind of just went "ah bummer, well then let me get some of these and some of these and two lattes." That is where it continues, the lattes themselves just tasted like hot milk, not even a slight taste of the espresso. We actually ended up throwing these away after leaving and stopping at a Starbucks, not even finishing them. Then the pastries, they were just OK, they look beautiful, but they just taste just fine. Same with the cake that we bought, that was about the caliber of a grocery store cake. The one that we did all enjoy was the pistachio, but again it would've been nice to see the chocolate dipped options. The one that really drove this down was the Spanakopitia. I usually like these, and to be extremely harsh, but equally honest it smelled like vomit, I tasted it anyways, and it tasted exactly how it smelled. I don't know what the heck was wrong with this thing, maybe it was from the day before, maybe there was an issue making the filling, but this didn't even stay in my mouth. The amount of good reviews this place has is shocking to me, it leads me to believe that maybe we were just there on a really off day, or maybe there was call ins of the staff, or other issues. But we truly did not have a good experience, if you open at 8, you need to be ready for customers at 8.

Still a favorite of mine. Love the ube croissant, ham and cheese croissant, and their espressos are delicious. Service is awesome - they are so patient and kind when I ask questions. Tons of seat inside! Chill vibe. Can get really busy. Parking? On Sunday's before 11am, parking is free on the street.

Love coming here for the pastries! My go-to orders are the pain au choclate, plain croissants, hazelnut chocolate filled croissants, anything seasonal they may have, or anything with berries! The croissants are flaky, light and soft on the inside. The ones with berry and chocolate are not overly sweet which is a big plus. This is such a nice quiet, lowkey spot that is great for a catch up session with a friend. A friend of mines told me about this place and it was perfect to grab a bite and coffee. There is a full menu with more items but I have only ordered the croissants. I did see alot of desserts and macaroons that I will have to try next time! Drink wise, they have different coffees and teas. I ordered the chai lattee and added lavendar flavor. It was pretty good! Nice and light and paired well with my croissant! Service is quick and kind. Parking wise, there is street parking but since this is located in Old Town, parking garages can be found in the surrounding area. This is close to Colorado so it's a nice area to walk around and stop by. They do not validate parking. I believe I spent a flat $5 fee for parking at a garage about a block away. May be a little pricey (I spent $28.75 for 2 plain croissants, 1 pain au choclat, 1 berry croissant, 1 lemon meringue croissant) but it's pretty great quality.

What cute pastries. We ordered the croissant au chocolat, cube croissant, chocolate cake, and cheesecake. Everything tasted good, but nothing was the best I ever had. Everything was a dollar or few more than similar places. Knocked off a star for that. The cube croissant was pretty unique, filled with a custardy lemon and berry filling, and topped with what looked like toasted marshmallow fluff.

From the person taking my order to the team boxing pastries and making coffee, everyone was incredible kind. They even went out of their way to find a sticker for my son. In today's world, that level of service is rare and much appreciated. Be prepared for a bit of wait, as the shop is always bustling and indoor seating is unfortunately non-existent. However, the staff works efficiently to keep the line moving. As someone who can be a bit indecisive at the counter, I ended up ordering a bit of everything. Here is the breakdown: -Cinnamon Roll ($6.50): A clear crowd favorite for a reason. It's made with laminated croissant dough, giving it an airy, flaky texture. The vanilla bean cream cheese glaze hits that perfect balance of sweet and tart. -Earl Grey Orange Morning Bun ($6.50): Another winner. The bun is buttery and crispy, with the Earl Grey tea and subtle citrus notes coming through beautiful in every bite. -Ham & Cheese Croissant ($6.75): This is a very high-quality, artisan take on a classic. It features next-level flakiness and rich, gooey Gruyère. My only wish? I'd love to see a version with Jalapeños for a bit of a kick! -Chocolate Croissant ($6.00) & Chocolate Chip Cookie ($4.50): Both were solid. The croissant was delicate with a great crunch, and the cookie had that perfect salty-sweet profile thanks to a hit of sea salt. -Strawberry Rhubarb Pie Danish ($7.75): I didn't get a bite of this one -- my son claimed it immediately, as he's a huge dan of anything strawberry. I tried the Brown Butter Maple Latte ($6.90), which was a bit too sweet for my taste and it didn't quite incorporate the syrup fully into the espresso. On the other hand, my wife's Spanish Latte ($6.90) was excellent -- smooth, creamy, and much more balanced. While the pastries are undeniably top-tier, there are two things you should prepare for: the crowd and the cost. Since there is a lack of dedicated seating, it's more of a grab-and-go destination than place to linger over a morning coffee. It's easy to go overboard when everything looks this good, but it definitely left my wife with a bit of sticker shock! I'll definitely be back, though I might have to make it a solo mission next time -- or at least keep the receipt hidden from my wife!

Date of visit: May 8, 2026…read more Selections: Lechera Waffle Chilaquiles Verdes Experience: I was craving waffles and decided to give this place a try after scrolling through the DoorDash app. This place drew me in because they offered chilaquiles too, so I got an order of lechera waffles and their chilaquiles verdes. The delivery took about 50 minutes to get to me after ordering and I was a bit nervous about how soggy both would be, especially the chilaquiles since I like when the chips are mostly hard still. I was pleasantly surprised and thankful that the salsa for the chilaquiles came on the side and though the waffle wasn't as crispy as I thought it would be, it was thick and fluffy and tasted great with the toppings. The salsa for the chilaquiles had a kick to them that I enjoyed and it went great with the cheese, red onions, and sunny side egg that came with it. I definitely would want to check this place out in person and try their other options as well!

We came early in the morning and so we had no trouble finding parking spots. The cafe has a lot of indoor seating. It was clean and had cozy vibes. Their menu includes: breakfast burrito, egg croissants, ham & cheese Croissant, breakfast bagels, salmon scrambled, breakfast sandwiches, Chilaquiles, different types of waffles, pancakes, oatmeal, wraps, salads, vegan options, and more. They have a special menu for kids. In addition, they have fresh drinks, smoothies, lemonades, ice tea, latte, variety of coffee options ,and shakes. I got their chicken sausage burrito. The food was delicious and the portion was huge. My friend ordered a matcha latte and Huevos A La Mexicana. It had scrambled eggs, tomatoes, onion, with sides of potatoes and bread. We both enjoyed our breakfast. The service was very fast. The staff were nice and welcoming. It is a nice cafe to stop by and have a delicious breakfast or lunch. Would definitely come back!
