We came by with a group of 5 for dinner. The menu had something for everybody and the food was generally pretty good - I enjoyed my soup, salad, and wrap (the wrap and salad more so than the soup). Service was superrrrr slow. Our server was very nice and it didn't seem to be his fault, as the restaurant was significantly understaffed. We waited quite a bit to get our food, they forgot our appetizer, etc. Overall we were happy with the food but would not recommend if service is a top priority for your meal. read more

Took my family out to celebrate my Daughter's birthday and Delicious Heights was the place that was recommended to us by my youngest daughter and her husband who have been there for another occasion. All in all the service was good the ambiance was ok and the food was good. However, there were two items that were a little bit off putting. One, the table we were seated at was covered with fingerprints and smears and it really didn't appear to have been cleaned properly and the second thing was the additional "open food charge" that was added to the bill because we had brought in a specialty Birthday cake and they charged us for the use of 7 small plates and 7 forks. I mean really, when you are dropping $250 on lunch is it really necessary to charge an additional fee for the plates?? read more

We had such a fantastic meal at Delicious Heights in Bedminster! Our server, Lizzy, was outstanding--attentive, friendly, and made the whole experience so enjoyable. The food was incredible, and we even got a visit from the BEST chef, Vinny, which made the evening extra special. The braised short ribs are the best I've ever tasted with a scrumptious sweet chutney on top blending the perfect taste bud symphony of sweet and savory. Smooth and flavor packed mashed potatoes and grilled to excellence asparagus. My husband got the Penne Vodka Chicken which was crispy on the outside and moist and flavor filled inside. Their vodka sauce could be a drink it's so incredible! Over perfectly cooked pasta it was a cleaned plate moment! Dessert was shared as we were so happy and full but made space for the cookie skillet ala mode with toasted marshmallows around this jumbo muffin shaped chocolate chip cookie! Decadence! Oh my!! That's a taste explosion that was such a happy finale! My new favorite stop and yes, Chef oversees all locations so if you hit up Berkeley Heights, Neshanic or a Bridgewater Manor event, you are in for a meal to remember and yes, you will be bringing your friends and family with you! This is a mixed review, Delicious Heights is the closest bar/pub to my home! The food and service is excellent! However, a glass of house wine at lunch time is $12.00.....now any wine person knows that my glass of wine purchased a bottle+ for that business ! Seriously I have an issue with that, Ethically and as a consumer ! Do they not have any regard for regular people who want to give support to local business'. We recently stopped in at the new Stone Tavern on rt 22 in Bridgewater and the house wine there is $9.00, still over priced but better than Delicious Heights. I have been to this location several times with a Meetup.com group. This last time, I took my wife out to dinner. I had the pan seared scallops while she had the chicken milanese. We got the Poke Bowl Salad and Penne a la Vodka. The poke bowl was pretty good, with the mixed lettuce tossed in tasty dressing. The sticky rice wasn't particular sticky, but was a nice addition to complement the fish and avocado. The penne a la vodka was ok. The pasta was cooked well, but the sauce itself had more cream compared to tomato, and didn't have a particularly noticeable vodka flavor (I would have believed it was just tomato cream sauce, that is). The service here is always friendly and I love the French dip. I also love the comfy booths. I hadn't been in a while and noticed prices increased even though they charge a fee to use a credit card. I'd be okay with it except I ordered a $15 glass of sangria which arrived in a rocks glass that was about 2/3 rocks. It tasted good but not for $15 dollars. We went to Bluebird Alpaca Farm today to feed and pet some alpacas. Definitely Recommend! We looked for someplacento eat and found Delicious Heights. It saidnit was similar to Winberies which is near where we live so I said let's go! Service was good. Food, I thought was delicious! Never had a poke bowl before and everything tasted to yummy. The tuna was perfect. Someone posted about the rice not being sticky but mine was. My son got the avocadoo blt, I didn't try it but he loved it. We loved the sweet potato fries too, which had brown sugar and cinnamon. I did think it was pricey but we were on a staycation so we didn't make a huge deal about it. The burger was perfectly round and flat like it was a frozen burger. The taste was mediocre but the bun was good. My wife had the 1/2 rack of ribs with brussel sprouts and Cole slaw. She said the ribs tasted good but we're cold. She said brussel sprouts were bitter and the Cole slaw was fresh but had no taste. I had the cookie dessert which was ok. We wanted a couple of burgers and an appetizer. We waited about 20 minutes and the waiter came back and told us they lost the order. We canceled the appetizer and just asked for the burgers. We needed to repeat the order. After being told the food was about to come out it took another 15 minutes for the food to arrive. When it arrived the French fries were cold and had to be sent back. When asked how everything was we told the waiter. He apologized, but the manager never came by to address our concerns. I stopped here after a business meeting. I really like the atmosphere in the bar area. The bar is dim and modern with just the right amount of lighting. The menus light up when you open them, making it easier to read. They have a large selection of beer on tap with some cool looking frost covered taps. Does it do anything or is it a gimmick? I don't know, but it still looks cool. The girls greeting you when you enter are always smiling and friendly. The bartenders and servers have always been helpful, friendly and attentive. I have never had a complaint about the service while here. The food is American with a selection of steaks, burgers, etc. They have enough appetizers to satisfy everyone. Passing through Bedminster on a Sunday afternoon around 5 pm and fondly remembered Willies Taverne. We hought we'd give the new place a try but were sorry we did. We were the second couple seated in the large dining room and they placed us NEXT to the other couple ??? That couple soon left and we were the only people in the room yet still had to wait over a half hour for our very simple order to arrive. My wife ordered the cavatelli and broccoli, bland, flavorless and what was most unappetizing was that the bowl was half-filled with the pasta water (no joke) ! We asked waitress to dump the water and possibly add some grated cheese for flavor. Where was the roasted garlic, olive oil and white wine??? I had the Farmhouse Salad which also did not match menu description "Grilled chicken, crisp romaine, walnuts, and double smoked bacon, apples, egg, dried cranberries, tomatoes, and red onion tossed in honey-mustard dressing" Grilled chicken on top was nice, but salad didn't match. Tons of red onion shavings topped classic iceberg (not romaine) lettuce, and the other mentioned items seemed hard to find...bacon?...apples?...cranberries? Had dinner there last night with my wife and son. Last time I was there the place was still called Willy's Tavern. Such a great experience. Our waitress was sweet, friendly, and expedient. The outdoor covered seating in the rear of the building was pleasant and attractive. All our meals were great. I had the French Dip, the roll was fresh, the RB was lean and they had the good sense to put the horseradish on the side. My wife had the vegetable panini and my son the buffalo chicken sandwich. Lastly, I went inside the restaurant and was amazed how gorgeously they renovated the inside while still keeping the history of the building in tact. Willie's was a great tavern, but was dark and surely showing it's age. Not anymore. I rarely leave rave reviews , but this one is deserved. We have had so many bad restaurant experiences since Covid.
