Soup Salad & 1/2 Sandwich
Emily C.

We came by with a group of 5 for dinner. The menu had something for everybody and the food was generally pretty good - I enjoyed my soup, salad, and wrap (the wrap and salad more so than the soup). Service was superrrrr slow. Our server was very nice and it didn't seem to be his fault, as the restaurant was significantly understaffed. We waited quite a bit to get our food, they forgot our appetizer, etc. Overall we were happy with the food but would not recommend if service is a top priority for your meal.

Penne Vodka Chicken that was crunchy and yummo moist, with a phenomenal vodka sauce and pasta sauce - a must order!

We had such a fantastic meal at Delicious Heights in Bedminster! Our server, Lizzy, was outstanding--attentive, friendly, and made the whole experience so enjoyable. The food was incredible, and we even got a visit from the BEST chef, Vinny, which made the evening extra special. Every dish was cooked to perfection, and you can really taste the passion and care that goes into the menu. The excellence in flavor profiles is outstanding. The braised short ribs are the best I've ever tasted with a scrumptious sweet chutney on top blending the perfect taste bud symphony of sweet and savory. Smooth and flavor packed mashed potatoes and grilled to excellence asparagus. My husband got the Penne Vodka Chicken which was crispy on the outside and moist and flavor filled inside. Their vodka sauce could be a drink it's so incredible! Over perfectly cooked pasta it was a cleaned plate moment! Dessert was shared as we were so happy and full but made space for the cookie skillet ala mode with toasted marshmallows around this jumbo muffin shaped chocolate chip cookie! Decadence! Oh my!! That's a taste explosion that was such a happy finale! My new favorite stop and yes, Chef oversees all locations so if you hit up Berkeley Heights, Neshanic or a Bridgewater Manor event, you are in for a meal to remember and yes, you will be bringing your friends and family with you! Headed back to SC but anytime north, we are detouring to this restaurant no matter how inconvenient! SO worth the stop! Tons of parking and the rich wood paneled room for events with its own bar and entrance looks so inviting and impressive! The building is historic too and Bedminster is adorable and just down the road from Trump National Bedminster and stunning horse farms. Highly recommend Delicious Heights for anyone looking for amazing food, top-notch service, and a welcoming atmosphere. We'll definitely be back!

Stopped by to kill sometimes while we waited for friends . Place was quiet , I guess it was still early , but the beer was super cold and the bartender was super nice and attentive.

Celebrated nephew's engagement in separate room for dinner party of 20. Service was very good, appetizers and entrees came out on time. We brought a large cake and it was served nicely. Guests said the food was delicious, good amounts although they do give take home boxes. Will be back. Very good option and area.

Chicago Style Spinach Dip

It's a solid local place with decent food and a good selection of beers and hard ciders. Servers are typically pleasant, and the prices aren't too bad (except for the buffalo wings -- $13 for 5 wings is a bit over the top). Appetizers are generally solid, and we are big fans of the spinach dip.

Tuna Poke Bowl

We got the Poke Bowl Salad and Penne a la Vodka. The poke bowl was pretty good, with the mixed lettuce tossed in tasty dressing. The sticky rice wasn't particular sticky, but was a nice addition to complement the fish and avocado. The penne a la vodka was ok. The pasta was cooked well, but the sauce itself had more cream compared to tomato, and didn't have a particularly noticeable vodka flavor (I would have believed it was just tomato cream sauce, that is). It was good, just wasn't particularly memorable. Service was fast and pleasant.

We went to Bluebird Alpaca Farm today to feed and pet some alpacas. Definitely Recommend! We looked for someplacento eat and found Delicious Heights. It saidnit was similar to Winberies which is near where we live so I said let's go! Service was good. Food, I thought was delicious! Never had a poke bowl before and everything tasted to yummy. The tuna was perfect. Someone posted about the rice not being sticky but mine was. My son got the avocadoo blt, I didn't try it but he loved it. We loved the sweet potato fries too, which had brown sugar and cinnamon. I did think it was pricey but we were on a staycation so we didn't make a huge deal about it. I recommend the place.

Chicken Milanese
Lee S.

Great place for a family meal. Most of the seating is in booths, so there is great privacy between tables. The food was above average for this type of standard bar / family restaurant food. The bread (brought on request) is really good and flaky - served with olive oil and butter. Other items ordered: - French onion soup - a solid version, nothing amazing, but worth getting again - poke bowl - this was really good, excellent sauce and fresh ingredients (tuna, avocado, tomato, edamame, etc.) - chicken Milanese - ok, but would not re-order The kids meal options were good (standard choices, plus a few surprises like a strip steak, which the kids enjoyed). All served with a drink and ice cream. Will definitely return when in the area.

Grilled octopus was SO good.

Before even getting into the restaurant, you pay $20 for valet (or self-park for free). Once inside, the ambiance is pretentiously fancy. The food is generally good, nothing spectacular, and priced to match the pretentious ambiance. Most of the dishes contained a puréed food of some kind to be pretentiously fancy. Why so many purées? What's wrong with whole vegetables? Your customers are not babies. Dishes that I would probably order again if I return: * Bluefin tuna crudo with avocado purée * Coffee-rubbed Berkshire pork chop with sweet potato purée * Duck with Brussel sprouts, mushrooms, and cauliflower purée * Roasted carrots with sumac Dishes that were fine but not memorable (1 star off): * Brioche rolls with carrot butter: could not taste any carrot flavor in carrot butter; a good plain butter would have sufficed; it also came with a side of smoked salmon roe which I thought was pretentious and unnecessary * New England scallops with carrot and coriander purée, spring pea and mint pesto, and mushroom crumble: the mushroom crumble was good, but the scallops were over-salted * Pan-seared salmon, sunchoke, spring herb purée, salsify, corn, and pommes purée: TWO purées...yay... * Cavatelli with lamb ragu: ragu is basically a tomato purée * Roasted Brussels sprouts and butternut squash For dessert, our waiter recommended the butterscotch pretzel sundae, which has been on their menu for years. The blondie bites, salted caramel, hot fudge, and salted caramel ice cream did sound good. Too bad they forgot to bring it out for us (1 star off), so we never tried it.

Service was great and beyond friendly. Directions are a bit weird as your gps will tell you to cut through the Exxon gas station and it's easier to just go to the next light and turn right into their parking lot. I ordered their fried pickles and these are on my top 5 for crispness, ability to hold breading, and overall flavor. A must try.

Ultimately, while it scratched that itch, it obviously doesn't hit those same highs. Walking in you have the typical Irish pub decor, but with a lot more TVs. However, for the area, that's what you're looking for, as most come to watch a game with a pint. When I went, there was even a projector up to show an additional football match, though I myself was more interested in a soccer match, which they also had on. The bar staff was wonderfully friendly and let me try a couple of beers before settling on my choice for the morning. For food, Guinness Beef Stew was go-to in Ireland, so trying it here, was also very good. The broth was a bit milder and meat was less tender than what I had recently experienced, though I imagine that's just the difference between domestic/imported Guineas and Irish/American beef. It was enjoyable overall and I would certainly have it again. Willie Mcbride's is probably one of the best Irish pubs in the area and I would certainly come back again, especially since comparing to Ireland itself isn't entirely fair.

As an appetizer, we had the crispy foraged maitake mushroom. It was very light and crispy, it reminded me of the coating on really good cod for fish and chips. Cocktail wise, I started off with the Alpine old fashioned which they smoked and my wife had a glass of Pinot Noir. For our entrees, my wife had the special which was a salmon with a parsley crust and fingerling potatoes. I went with the sea scallops with honey nut squash and maple-bacon jam. Both were very good. For dessert, we had a three cheese cheesecake and the Mexican chocolate soufflé. We enjoyed both. The soufflé was very good even without the vanilla-bourbon anglaise. The staff were all very friendly, from the valet at the front door, to the young women that took our coats, and the waitstaff that took our orders, filled our drinks and cleared the flatware. They had the fireplace going. There are sconces on the wall providing subtle lighting, along with small, cordless lamps on the tabletops.
