This place has a big menu. I've ordered a lot of different things and they are always very good. With such an eclectic menu, I am surprised with how good their overall menu is. *3.5 Stars* My gf and I have been waiting anxiously for this place to finally open. After many months of renovations we realized it opened a couple of weeks ago. It's located at the site of the former Willies Tavern. The inside was completely redone and looks a lot like the DH in Berkeley Heights. My gf and her sisters/mom and I decided to go early since we knew it would get busy (not many bars/restaurants in the area). We were lucky to get a seat right away. The menu's are back lit which is pretty cool (you will know what I am talking about when you see it). Same menu selection as the BH one as well. The server was prompt and friendly. We started out with a couple of apps. The calamari (very good, light, flaky and tasted fresh w/2 dipping sauces). Panko crusted shrimp were huge, meaty and good. Just enough for 1 each. They also brought out bread which was a good filler. Now for the entrees. My gf had the Rotisserie Chicken Salad which she was disappointed with (she can't say I didn't warn her :-)). Her one sister had Bourbon Glazed Short Ribs which she enjoyed (she was jonsing for them since she was screwed out of them at another restaurant). Her other sister the vegetarian had the Grilled Vegetable Platter which she really enjoyed (if it doesn't have meat somewhere in the meal I wouldn't get it but that's just me). Her mom went with the Farmhouse Salad which she enjoyed. I decided on being unhealthy as usual and had the Chorizo and Avocado Burger. Now it was really good and their fries are so addictive. The seasoning...yum! I could only muster half the burger which upset me. For dessert we split the Tiramisu, Banana's Foster and Warm Chocolate Brownie...all were good. I must warn you that their prices are expensive. For example my burger was $13...and it wasn't like it was huge. All the meals were expensive too including the salads. That is the one down side. So be prepared to get a good meal but pay a good amount for it. There is a large lot outback for parking. They also have catering (for that lazy night and don't feel like going "out" to eat. It was packed when we left since be prepared to also wait. Go early if possible. Bar area looks really cool to hang out on a nice date. ENJOY! read more

I've been here a few times and most recently was not that impressed. I feel like the food did not meet my expectations. The atmposhere is great the service was tip top but the food was just ok and nothing I plan to return for. We ordered the sampler appetizer and were not that impressed. A very bad experience here. Big business lunch went horribly wrong. Seven of us seated in a too-small booth. Very uncomfortable. and there were bigger booths available. And then our guests grilled tuna salad was served with a huge insect crawling around on top. When the server was notified, she merely said Eew! and walked away. No manager ever arrived at the table to apologize and the only solution offered was to take it off the bill. What do you do when you are meeting a friend in an area that you don't know and have no idea what type of (good) restaurants are in that area? Well if you are a dedicated Yelper (like me), you know that logging onto Yelp is what you do. It doesn't let you down (9 out of 10 times they are right on point)! Sometimes, I wish I thought of creating a website like this, but then again I am not that computer savvy...oh I digress, back onto the real reason why you are reading...my review. So anyway, Yelp did not let us down. We fell in love and I mean LOVE with this place. First of all let me say that the decor is trendy, yet still has a warm feeling to it. Regardless if you are eating at the HUGE bar or at one of the roomy, comfy booths, you won't want to leave. And the menus - we loved how they lit up. Yes, you heard me right - the menus light up. Very cool. As far as the food is concerned, the name has it right - DELICIOUS. We decided not to have apps (which we are now kicking ourselves for), because we wanted to save room for dessert. So we both got sandwich's - I had the roasted chicken club sandwich that's so jam packed with flavors you don't know what to do with yourself. Each bite is more amazing the next next. And the sandwich is HUGE - I could only eat half, which made me extremely upset, since I really wanted to eat the whole thing. But then I was excited that I could have it as leftovers (that was until my boyfriend ate it on me). Oh and the sweet potatoes fries covered in cinnamon and sugar are addicting. I couldn't stop eating them. Even though my stomach was yelling at me to stop, I ate every last one. And again, even though we were beyond stuffed, we still managed to reserve a little bit of room (we ate almost the whole thing) for the crustless pecan pie. Just thinking about it make me want to grab my keys and drive the hour it takes to get to the restaurant to have a slice (well not really a slice since it's in a cast iron skillet). Bad Food, Bad Service! Our waitress was hard to find for large stretches of time. I had the Chicken and Choriza Quesadilla and Fries. The Quesadilla only tasted like peppers and really needed the salsa to make it palatable. The fries tasted like they pulled them off someone else table. My wife had the Quartet of sliders and was equally unimpressed. This is also not a kid friendly place (that might add a point for some of you). They don't have a kid's menu, you have to ask the waiter to recite it. The grilled cheese probably would have been good for an adult, but I've never heard a kid say "this grilled cheese would be better is the bread were an inch thicker." The ketchup comes in small metal containers that were only about a 1/4 of the way full. Rather than filling them up, they prefer to bring you 5 (yes, they brought us 5 1/4 containers of ketchup). The balsamic chicken salad was fabulous (and the chicken was not breaded/sauteed, which I liked, as you never quite know how each place will define "balsamic chicken"). Beer selection was pretty good, but we had to stand up to go read a scrolling menu to find out what they all were. The service was so-so, which is why I didn't give four stars. My empty water glass was passed by several times, and at the end, we weren't even asked if we wanted dessert; we just had the check dropped on our table. First time here. Food was great but service was slow. Took 35-40 min for appetizers and that's when I said something. Comped for them though. When this place first opened is was fantastic......since then total downhill disaster. Bar staff is harried Manager is lost. He has no clue while walking around constantly and getting nothing done. The food is comparable to a standard fast food/chain the quality is terrible plus presentation is basically thrown on the plate . Definitely kitchen run by day workers. One thing. Price goes up like every place else and quality goes in the dumper.they haven't spruced this place up at all (maybe a few larger 4k tvs , a nice sanding and refinish of the floor s and a general clean up. Who Owns and runs this place needs to get a pulse on things. I was there a few times on different nights .....crickets. Bar tenders cleaning up at 7:30 looking like can't wait to gtf out of there. So went here for drinks with some friends and the special menu for St. Patrick's Day said 1/2 off Martinis, $6 Jameson, and $4 Guinness. So I pointed to the flyer and ordered two Martinis. Not until after getting the bill when I was charged for 2 full price Martinis was I told it's only for special Martinis. Thinking it was my fault for reading the flyer wrong, I look back at it and sure enough it says 1/2 off Martinis. NOTHING about certain types of Martinis. So be aware you may not be getting what you think you are getting. Very disappointed. read more

We were give ample time to set up before the event. I didn't stay until the end due to other obligation but I was there to close to it and it didn't look like they were going to push people out either. We just ate dinner here and we loved this restaurant. The interior is a little on the dark side but we loved it. The menus light up and there are a ton of TVs set to sports. They must have 2 dozen beers on tap. Definitely and upgrade from the old Willies. We had the onion rings and they were awesome - dipped in bourbon. The mozzarella sticks seemed extra large and fresh - the cheese was very gooey. I had the crab cakes which were loaded with meat - if there was bread in them, it was just for coloring ;-). All entrees come with a choice of 3 salads and I really enjoyed the wedge. My son had the Hawaiian steak and my daughter had the app sliders and both enjoyed it. The decor in this place was great.--trendy, yet it still had a bit of that warm, homey feel. The staff was great, very helpful and they even remembered all of our drinks! (We had a large group event) However, despite the nice atmosphere..I was very disappointed with their food. We had their version of sushi, shrimp cocktail, sliders, and calamari as appetizers. With all of the above being some of my favorite food, I was quite excited to dig in after a long day at work. To my surprise, the sushi's rice was cold and hard, while the inside was wet and flavorless. The calamari was also cold with a bland, oddly textured batter. The sliders and shrimp cocktail were pretty good, but nothing to rave about. For entrees, we had ribs, chicken francese, penne vodka (I think), mashed potatoes, and mixed veggies. Although I cannot really speak the the chicken francese, the ribs had a good sauce but the meat was overcooked and a bit dry. The mashed potatoes and veggies were good, and the penne was okay. Granted this may be due to it being a large group event, but regardless I had much higher hopes for this place. Hopefully next time I visit, I will not be disappointed! read more

Nothing like having to listen to a manager and bar tender talk about topics like the waitress who was back at the restaurant and how she looked plus every other word is the F bomb or S word. I wish I could have taped the conversation but the bartender coughing up half a lung into his arm probably would have distorted the sound. Talk about disgusting I mean who would like some sputum with their drink? What good is coughing into your uncovered arm? Don't think that's protecting anyone. It is 70 degrees outside and feels like 60 in the restaurant. Bring a winter coat. Maybe that's why the bartender is coughing? Just glad he is not handling my food. I have been here before and service is always weak but food is good so if you can get past the staff feel free to stop by. A lot better pricing at lunch. By the way I would be happy to donate a dollar every time I eat out so sick employees don't come in. Every table or person could put a dollar in and problem solved. Definitely not a fan. A friend and I visited the bar last night for a "quick" drink. We ordered a champagne cocktail with St. Germaine- something we've been known to order at many different establishments in the past- and it was too sweet to drink. When we asked the bartender to top it off with some club soda to tone down the sweetness he proceeded to tell us that St. Germaine is a sweet spirit and we should have expected the syrupy flavor. Listen guy, I know my drinks and NO ONE expects to drink St. Germaine with a splash of Champagne. Anyway, we attempted to stomach the drinks and waited, no joke, an hour for someone to finally come back with our check. Very happy about the change. The restaurant used to be Willie's Tavern. We've eaten at the one in Berkeley Hts a bunch of times so it's great they built one in Bedminster. The bar does get crowded on a Fri and/or Sat night so you have to get there early if you want a seat. However, you could seat yourself in the lounge. Food is good. Highly recommend the sandwiches, wraps, and appetizers. Portion size is large. Would visit again, prices are about right for the area. A burger/wrap will be around $16, wine $8 a glass, draft beer $5 a pint and there is quite a variety of beer. Would recommend this restaurant. read more

OK I have tried this place enough times now to rate it. I do find my meal tastes better when I have an exceptional waiter or waitress, Which was the case last night. We just got home from our vacation and we're driving home and all three of us were starving. We started out with three appetizers. The waiter recommended the first one which were the lightly fried zucchini, he was right they were amazing. Then we have the onion rings which you can so taste the beer batter, also amazing. Then I opted for my standard lettuce wraps. I always get these and they're always very good. After eating all the appetizers I opted to get another appetizer as my meal. I got the burger sliders. Upscale, trendy place (you wouldn't know it from the outside) with upscale food prices. They have a pretty good beer selection, although there were only a handful that I haven't tried before. The beer prices are actually VERY fair! $5-6 each. Although I'm surprised a place like this doesn't have a fancy cocktail menu. The food selection left little to be desired. Not much creativity - burgers, wraps, pasta. The one special I wanted to try (NY Strip Steak Sandwich) was out by the time I got there. I ended up having a burger. Pretty tasty. Well cooked. Unfortunately, the bun fell apart from the grease. Fries were slightly thicker than typical diner fries but not at the steak fries size and deliciously seasoned. Service was mostly decent, save for the one server who brought out our food. She had this random scowl on her face while shoving the food onto our table. One of the worst Dining experiences of all time. Here's why: I have been to each of the 3 locations not by choice but because certain family members wanted to try it. * The atmosphere is depressing . Seems dark inside and uninviting. *The service is poor. One time we were there on a Sunday evening and it was pretty empty but it took 40 minutes before any food was brought out. I forcefully brought this to the attention of one of the listless helpers and we had our meal within 5 minutes. Had similar experience in the 2 other locations. *The food is as average as you can imagine and even that characterization is being generous. Some of it just bland and unmistakably poured from a master can into your bowl. *The prices are an outrage given what you get. I don't usually eat hamburgers but was in a hurry and had a $16 burger with a few (i mean few) french fries. It was tasteless and tiny, sinewy and simply not worth even $2. Better to stop at a fast food joint for a burger or go to White Castle. I have more than a little experience in the Food Business and am always amazed at how you can serve crap to an affluent crowd because a restaurant has managed to contrive some type of cachet for itself. I live in Long Hill Hill Township and there are dozens of very good to excellent restaurants within a 5 mile radius. of here. Do yourself a favor and avoid this place until at least trying other restaurants in the area. read more

Went out to dinner with friends and chose Delicious Heights through Yelp. I have to say the service was AMAZING!!! Very attentive, friendly and in no way pushy. Two of us had the chimichurri ribeye steak dinner and it was expertly prepared exactly how we ordered and I ate the whole thing!!
