I'm Iranian/Persian and have a lot of eyebrow! I read the Yelp reviews and went in for a threading. Normally, I feel like when I get my eyebrows done at other places, whether wax or threading, they come out with a new shape rather than a natural shape that actually helps my looks. The salon is very clean and relaxing. Arezoo does the threading, but call for an appointment. I have never been more satisfied at a salon and will follow her for the rest of my life! I go to her every 2-3 weeks and she always takes her time to make sure every hair has been taken care of. Additionally, she explained that she wanted certain areas to grow out slowly to give the brows a better shape! So knowledgeable and she only charges $5 which is much less than I have ever paid, and she does such a wonderful job its nice to tip well. Make sure you call for an appointment though as she lives out of town and only comes in certain days. read more

Come here for a threading and your eyebrows will thank you. The professionalism and attention to detail is impeccable. My first visit, I was huffing and puffing from my sprint there, but I immediately felt at ease once I was greeted and treated to the lounging table. I've got blond brows that definitely got a wake-up call. She even helped fill them in for me. Pleasant surprise! I cleaned up in the fancy bathroom and was on my way. $10 bucks later and my eyebrows left happy. Call ahead for an appointment because the master threader is not always in. I had my first ever waxing experience here. I am fair skinned that is extremely thin and subject to bleeding when waxed, plucked or even looked at for that matter. I wanted to let that be known in advance. The Good: Vlora...Vlora...Vlora. She's the owner but she also performs all other duties as well. She does a terrific job with putting you at ease and keeping your mind off of what's going on. I have never once bled after getting waxed even "down there". The Bad: Nothing at all. Here's an example of more of their greatness: I apparently had made an appointment for yesterday and had forgotten about it. I say apparently because they called at five after to see if I was ok. They weren't concerned about the fact that Vlora's time was being wasted by a no-show. They didn't even charge me for the time that I took up (most places would have). They were actually CONCERNED that I did not show up because I am always on time. That is going the extra mile and I really appreciate that. The Ugly: It's in a very popular location, so paking can be a bit of a problem sometimes but it's two blocks from the Fullerton CTA stop, so you can avoid that altogether if you don't mind the walk. All in all it is a fantastic place and I would recommend it to anyone. read more

I have been here twice: once for an eyebrow wax. Recommended by a coworker, Laura was very nice and obviously good at what she does. I did think the cost was a little pricier than other places I have tried. I can't say I would go back for a wax, but that's because of my next experience... I also tried the eyebrow threading (I prefer threading to wax, but I haven't found many places in the city I would visit regularly...). Only $5! Unfortunately I cannot remember the woman's name, but, she was very polite, and spent a lot of time on me. I can't say I've ever had an eyebrow threading session that took longer than 10 minutes, including the wait, but she really took her time. She has different hours than those of the spa, so call ahead for an appointment. I would definitely go back to her- she worked with the shape of my brow (instead of trying to force me to look permanently surprised, or removing all the hair and forcing me to draw in my eyebrows). Very relaxing atmosphere, with music that is not annoying... In fact, I was so relaxed that I started to fall asleep as soon as the hot wax was placed on my brow. read more

Ultra relaxing! I decided to try this place because my job is super stressful and I wanted something quiet and relaxing after work. The massage was wonderful and I'd recommend it to anyone. The price was reasonable and I'll be going back indefinitely! This place gets an "A" in my book. read more

Laura, owner of Delicate Spa is amazing at eyebrow waxing. I first visited her in summer 2007, out of convenience (she is located on Sheffield near the fullerton el stop) and she did an unbelievable job on my eye brows. She waxes, brushes, cuts, and plucks for the perfect style. She really knows what she is doing after years of practice, unlike most places that simply wax and don't see the need to cut and pluck to achieve the most flattering shape. Moreover, this place is very relaxing and not pretentious at all, which is hard to find in this area. Laura herself is a truly good person that loves what she does. Prices are very affordable and I plan to go back for a facial. Appointments are very easy to make, and she if she doesnt answer the phone, it means she is with a client, but leave a detailed message and she will be sure to call you back to make an appointment the same day. I went here because their name came up when I searched Yelp for eyebrow threading - however - the girl that does that is in school right now. So, I decided to get a no-chip manicure while I was already there. The manicurist was very polite, friendly and talkative but not too talkative. She patiently allowed me to decide upon a color, read my magazine and chat with me with I felt like it. Also, they do different promotions which seems like fairly often - this month is a raffle for a free mani-pedi for the holidays. You get to draw a piece of paper before you go. Didn't win that time but plan on going back due to the great service! Great job on the no-chip too. read more

The woman who does threading here is AMAZING. She consistently spends over 30 minutes on just my eyebrows, does great shaping and is very thorough. Also you can NOT beat the price. I go here every two weeks for eyebrow and upper lip threading...total cost: $13. Which is exactly $30 less than it cost to do the exact same thing at my last spa. Eyebrow threading is currently only on Fridays by appointment because the woman who does it does not have enough clients to justify driving into the city more often. But if she did...I'm sure she'd expand her schedule. I highly recommend threading over waxing, and this place is the best...trust me, my eyebrows are a mess so I've spent my life looking for good people to take care of them! read more

This is a great little spa in Lincoln park. The owner is very nice and she does amazing eye brow waxing. i dont go anywhere else.

I stopped in here to buy some hair products and the woman at the front desk was very helpful! She was knowledgable and friendly. I have thought about scheduling a Spa treatment or waxing here because I have heard nothing but good things! read more

LOVE these guys! Fair prices and I love how they give you a hot stone massage on you calf muscles when you get a pedicure!
